Darkest Day in the history of Olympics: Italian Boxer Angela Carini was forced to box against a biological male Imane Khelif from Algeria.https://www.google.com/amp/s/timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/paris-olympics-2024/biological-male-imane-khelif-wins-paris-olympics-boxing-bout-in-46-seconds-elon-musk-jk-rowling-cry-foul-as-twitter-erupts/amp_articleshow/112216239.cms How do you see this sad incident? #Olympicgames

Bankowner:That's the agenda of APC. To keep the masses improvised so that they can easily exploit them for their selfish gains. Tell me what kind of government pays people to counter protesters? It's because they know that the people are hungry and would do anything for money. Most of these folks you see here on NL are part of that agenda. They're paid peanuts to defend an administration that's stealing the future of their kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Yet they don't care. As long as they propagate Igbo and Peter Obi hate they'll collect their peanuts. Sad thing about these people is that they don't even think about their future. Even if Tinubu doesn't win second term, he has created enough wealth for his 10th generation at the expense of these low lifers defending him day in day out. |
For where? Everywhere is on lockdown in Lagos. Banks, offices... literally everywhere. If things don't get messy, by Monday everywhere would be back to normal without any possible end for the hunger. |
EyeCumInPiss:Does Tinubu look like someone who would make such sacrifice after spending billions to bribe his way into that seat? Of course not. |
Sapasenator:I attended a Church owned primary school. So that was where the rumor originated from. That's why so many of us then were so eager to jump into it. |
Sapasenator:It definitely was a coincidence. Whirlwinds in Nigeria aren't strong enough to cause damage or make you sick. |
Sapasenator:I used to do this when I was in primary school. There was this rumor then that Prophet Elijah was taken to heaven through a whirlwind so if you jump inside it, you'll be taken to heaven. I can't even remember how many times I jumped into whirlwinds. And aside having to remove sand from my eyes, I never experienced anything out of the ordinary neither was I taken to heaven. |
Could be from the screen. There's a possibility that the internal connection between the motherboard and the screen might be loose or damaged. Or It could be from your RAM. Sometimes, issues with RAM or other hardware components can cause display problems. Just take it to computer village if you're in Lagos or any computer repairs center in your location and experts would get it up and running for a token of course. |
benuejosh:I'm not protesting not because I believe in Tinubu but because I know it's going to be a waste of time. You're asking that Tinubu be given more time...tell me one policy his administration has put in place that's benefiting the masses? All his policies so far has brought nothing but pain to the people. Ordinary semovita I used to buy 350 as of 2020 I bought it N1,800 yesterday. How many average Nigerians can afford N1,800 to buy semovita? Jonathan wasn't a saint neither was Buhari. But low earning Nigerians were surviving under them until Tinubu came with his inhumane policies that's making people groan in pain. You lots were trying to tibalize this protest. You should know that the long awaited revolution that would reset Nigeria wouldn't start in Lagos or Enugu or Anambra. I would start in the North and ignite other regions. So if you like keep spreading Igbo hate and defending a failure |
aderadio1:Not junior ranking officers but middle ranking officers. Junior ranking officers are usually NCOs. They don't have what it takes to pull off a successful coup cos their movement within the ammo unit is usually restricted and would need certain clearance to access most of them. So they need the approval of a CO. The middle ranking officers however are the major players in coups. And they do it on the orders of the generals who most times would be behind the scene. The 1966 coup that brought Gowon into power wasn't plotted by Gowon, it was executed by IBB, Abacha, Danjuma and co. Who were then lieutenants and captains. Gowon was over thrown by Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Garuba on the orders of General Muritala Mohammed. Lieutenant Colonel Buka Dimka plotted a coup that claimed the life of Gen Muritala Mohammed on the orders Major General Basila. IBB experienced a brutal coup (although not successful) plotted by Major Okar on the orders of Colonel Nyiam. The problem with these middle ranking officers is that they're usually ruthless. Cos their lives is on the line. |
Wittyglam:You should note the following... 1. No stranger would hit on you on publicly unless you're immorally dressed. So look at yourself carefully and try to look more like a married woman. If possible let your ring be on your finger always. 2. If you're experiencing this at your place of work, limit the way you relate with males there. Maybe you're the friendly type, and knowing Nigerian men, many would easily mistake an innocent smile for green light thus hitting on you. 3. You may have formed the habit of asking favours from men; ranging from money, lift, lunch...etc. Some married women do this. If you fall into this category, men would always hit on you. Cos they'll feel you owe them. They wouldn't care if you're married. 4. If you're the party and club type, or you do hang out with your friends at bars and lounges. You'll definitely have men hitting on you. So search yourself and see where you need to change. I have a handful of married female friends, and none of them has ever complained about this to me. In fact one even told me that she finds it difficult to make male friends ever since she got married. That once they know she's married, they'll just withdraw. |
He should pay over 500m or you pull down the hotel and render hundreds of people jobless at a time when people are struggling to stay afloat amidst the harsh economy. How much is the hotel worth? This is the problem I have with African leaders, they'd do anything to get back at their political rivals even if it means destroying the source of daily bread of their own people. Very wicked and heartless lots. |
advanceDNA:Don't blame the girl. Blame the classless guy for degrading and allowing himself to be used by an opportunist. |
Creamypie:Funny thing is that those officials are probably struggling to feed themselves and families. They would be complaining about how difficult things are forgetting the pains their wickedness caused so many families. |
Bloggers and their lies. That's not a lecture hall. The decorated curtain and table and how the audience cheered her points more to her being invited to entertain them than a lecture hall. |
DeeScan:That's exactly what I wanted to say. That write-up was written based on the dating system in the US not in Nigeria. In Nigeria just have money and you'd get any girl you want regardless of how beautiful she is and how ugly you are. Case study. Ned and Regina. |
CELEBRITYSAND:When you're making multiple payments that's even when you have to be more focused. Some people make transactions inside a public bus, and when the conductor calls their attention, they become distracted and send the money to the wrong account. Some make theirs in the middle of a discussion and wouldn't bother excusing themselves to focus on what they're doing until the recipient calls them after a couple of hours to tell them that they haven't received the inflow...Then they start panicking. Truth is there is no such thing as multitasking when it comes to transaction. The rule of the thumb is whenever you're making a transaction, (whether single or multiple) suspend whatever you're doing and direct all your attention to that transaction until you're done. Haven't you been to the bulk room of a bank before, do you see the staffs who stay there gisting and making calls whilst counting the money and crediting the recipients account? They're 100% focused. In fact you'll have to talk in whispers whenever you're in there cos the place is extremely quiet. That's how it should be. Most people are just careless that's why they keep making errors when making transactions. |
UncleKoboko:As in eh! Even if I want to send money through a POS agent. I'll tell the agent to confirm the name of the receiver before sending. It's as simple as that. I've been making transactions for close to a decade and I've never experienced such cos I'm extremely careful whenever I want to make a transaction. |
I once read somewhere that by 2060, Christianity would become extinct in western Europe. I'm beginning to believe that article. |
Adewale1603:It baffles me too. Whenever I'm making a transaction, I stop everything I'm doing and concentrate on carefully imputing the sender's account details and confirm the name before sending. Some people are just so impatient |
Wahala for who get property for Lagos. |
But that doesn't change the fact that it's managed by Tinubu's family same as Oando.
|
They should give them Ilorin airport. It's high time these whites start taking us seriously. |
Schoolshoe:Hello Schoolshoe...Don't you ever check your mail? I recently changed my phone and lost your number. Can you hi me on Whatsapp ASAP? |
Sannisege:Lol... nice gesture indeed. Who made the people unable to afford food in the first place? Besides as you can see in the article the nice gesture has been looted and sold to the hungry masses at exuberant prices, so wouldn't they still starve? Why not just make the economy better for everyone, what's with all these palliative madness. Is Nigeria fighting war like Palestine that States should be receiving donations from the federal government that would be looted? |
Why would a president be donating bags of rice to a state. Why not improve the economy so people can survive? How sustainable is this donation? |
Blacks on Blacks crime are the greatest in the world. Most africans could stop at nothing to destroy the Hussle of a fellow back man than support him. Even in the USA, blacks are dominant population in most American prisons. Next time he should get CCTV cameras and security guards in place. If he could afford to spend millions to stock the place, he should be able to afford to spend a few thousands to protect it. Sorry for the loss. |
I'm not a Tinubu supporter. In fact I detest the man. But this protest is pointless cos it's definitely going to be highjacked. |
ihavesense:That was around the same period I served. 2017/2018. The funny thing here is this that when you tell someone you used to buy super pack noodles N50, they'd think it was like 20 years ago or more. Not knowing that it was barely 6 years ago. This shows how far we've fallen. Do you know that as at 2020 I was still buying sachet tomatoes N50. I do buy 2 sachets to prepare spaghetti with it. And ironically, 2020 was a crisis year for Nigeria. We had Covid lockdown, we had endsars crisis. Yet things were still very affordable. Everything just became worse when Tinubu came into power. |
thesicilian:I was surviving as a youth corper on N19,800 and it was ok for me. Super pack indomine was N50, rice, beans and garri was cheap, as long as you have where to stay, you'll be fine unless you're the extravagant type. Today super pack noodles is N500. Rice beans and garri have tripled. That money is basically useless. |

No I was talking about God regardless of the religion. If Devil is the architect of our problems. Who created the devil? So who is the origin of the problem? 🤩
