Praxis758:Their new prices have already been confirmed. Gotv Supa+ is now N15,700 against it's former price of N12,500. The problem with Nigerians is that we don't speak with one voice. Tribalism really divided us. If not tell me how these criminals would constantly keep exploiting us year in year out and all we can do is to grumble on social media without any action? |
Look at their ages. One would expect them at that age to at least have sense and work towards having a bright future. But no, they choose to be useless to themselves, their families and the nation by joining cults. I can bet my with anything that they don't have any single skill aside terrorizing their community through robberies, oppression...etc. I honestly do not know what guys gain in cultism. |
Treble99:Its his job. It's what he uses to maintain traffic on his monetized page. Very creative of him if you ask me. |
Programming is never always easy. You must have the passion for it and see it as a hobby...that's when you'll begin to understand what it's all about. Recently, a friend sent me a YouTube video on python. When I opened it, I discovered the length of the video was over 4 hours. You have to be passionate about programming before you can glue yourself to your laptop screen watching a video of close to 5 hours. If you don't have the passion for it, you'd easily get bored and loose interest. |
onyxo76:You go keep like 5k for the gallon. But still price them, cos dem sef de find customers. If you follow dem drag well well, you fit buy the gallon 4k. Customers no de. |
HeatSeeker:Hitv that year. I remember those days. Their office used to be at Ebute metta. My dad would send me and my cousin to go and subscribe. You'll meet crowd of people there. The only reason why people choosed them over DStv was because they were showing all the European leagues and their subscription was far cheaper than DStv. Sadly, like all Nigerian businesses with bad management, they crumbled. |
There are so many federal roads across the country that needs urgent government attention. Yet constructing a new road that would gulp trillions of naira is what the government sees as priority. We truly have useless leaders. |
onyxo76:1k per liter. If you're buying above 10 liters, they'll sell N900 per liter to you... |
Horrible. No fueling station has fuel. They're all empty. Black marketers are everywhere with their gallons and hose looking for customers to sell their fuel to at insane prices. |
pocohantas:if you know Enugu very well. That Enugu-Abakaliki express way where innoson plastic an other industries and factories including MFM prayer city is are on band A. The irony here is that the environment is in the bush/village. Making it almost impossible for the inhabit of that neighborhood to afford the exorbitant electricity bills. |
I remembered those days full chicken barbecue used to be 4k. Point and kill (full cat fish pepper soup) N700. Stazenbaru (hope I spelt it correctly) beer used to be N100. If you cannot afford 4k for full chicken barbecue, just buy full catfish N700 and 3 bottles of stazenbaru bringing the total to 1k, and you go de alright. Tinubu is really making relaxation impossible for the common man. I bought 1kilo of chicken last Sunday for N5,500. It was just one full lap and another small meat they cut to add so that the weight would reach 1kilo. I was just shaking my head. Things you could just buy those days without breaking a sweat have become luxuries under Tinubu. Yet people are still defending him. |
CountinBlessins:Stop deceiving yourself. You're a ronu miscreant. To your question... In Enugu, thinkers corner housing average Nigerians. Emene Trans Ekuku Abakalii road that hosts innoson plastic and other factories. After MFM prayer city Enugu. All these areas I mentioned are areas hosting average traders and struggling civil servants. And they're all grouped under band A. Go and verify these areas before mentioning me for a reply. Now who's the liar? |
CountinBlessins:Let me educate you. In Lagos aside from Ikoyi, VI and Lekki, most of the areas grouped under band A are areas that hosts average or below average Nigerians. In the South East, I know many areas that are occupied by struggling civil servants that were grouped under band A. How do you explain that? Come to the mainland and see the areas grouped under band A and tell me if those living in those areas are billionaires. I know of a particular area on the mainland (Ahamadyia) I hope I got the spelling right. It's around Kola/Joke Ayo. Towards Sango toll gate. It's a very poor environment but they were grouped under band A cos their light there is crazy. It stays on for days. How do you explain that? We've not even talked about businesses, this means that most average businesses would be on the verge of collapse cos most of their profits would be going into electricity. And you feel it's ok? Shame on you and your god Tinubu. |
This Tinubu's administration is out to squeeze every available means the masses are holding on to for survival. They want to suffocate it with insane taxes. Thus plunging those who are finding their feet in that field into abject poverty. |
CountinBlessins:The way some of you reason on this forum can be so annoying. So according to you, paying 170k monthly which amounts to 2040000 (two million forty thousand naira) yearly is worth it. In a country where the minimum wage is 30k and the average salary of most Nigerians is less than 500k? So if you're removing 170k every month out of your salary for light, how about your transportation to work, what about rent, your kids school fees, feeding...etc. How do you expect such families to cope coupled with the insane inflation of food prices we're currently experiencing? I don't blame you. Most of you Tinubu's supporters are already used to suffering. So whatever policy Tinubu brings out is ok by you. As long as your 30k for drinking garri is available, you don't care about anything thing else. What a miserable way to live. |
folake4u:They're not bad. I've entered them before. The problem was that the OP booked an afternoon weekend flight which has less passengers. And it was very obvious that more than half of the passengers had Anambra as their destination that's why they dropped them off at Anambra and offered to convey them by road to Asaba. The rule of the thumb when booking local flights in Nigeria is to avoid booking afternoon flights. If all their 7am flights are booked, look for another airline or postpone your flight. The wahala of mid-day flights no be here. |
Most airlines have very little traffic on their weekend flights especially Sundays. Worst of all afternoon weekend flights, cos there are hardly any passengers. (Cc folake4u) It could be that they had more Anambra passengers than Asaba so they just decided to drop all of you in Anambra, then convey you guys heading to Asaba in a bus. But they should have just told you guys that they wouldn't be flying to Asaba. They can't expect to run a successful business this way. |
bobbiiee:If they gave her another person's baby, the DNA test would show that neither she nor her husband are the child's parents. That's when it becomes obvious that the child was swapped at birth. But if the test shows that the woman is the mother, but the man isn't the father; it becomes a case of paternity fraud. |
Why N500, why not N400 or less? |
Ibemi:I hope you know that green mambas do exist. And their venom is classified as one of the deadliest in the world. Ironically, green mambas can be found in West Africa. (Nigeria inclusive) So when next you come across a green snake, if you're not confident enough to kill it, run for your life. |
Jarus that year. After every match Nigeria plays, he'll analyze the entire squad and rate the players. I used to enjoy this analysis back then. Investing in football isn't bad. Who knows, jarus FC might make it to the Nigeria premier League in the coming years. I don't know why he deactivated his moniker on Nairaland. |
Igbo and Yourba marriage are the most common than other tribe. Go to any Pentecostal church in the SW, if there are 20 young couples who married outside yourba land, at least 60% would be to Igbos. In my church, I can point over 15 yourba/Igbo marriages. What I don't understand is why they just allowed greedy politicians ruin the understanding both tribes had with each other. |
The average ronu miscreant would rather blame Peter Obi who isn't holding any elective position in this administration than their god Tinubu who plunged Nigeria into the abyss. |
This is why it's always advisable to carry out due diligence on any property before payment. Most agents wouldn't tell you the issues tenants in that house are facing cos they're interested in their commission. |
Genuine hard work and determination pays. I'm happy for him and his lucky parents. |
dkidd:He's just catching cruise. If he has all he claims to have, he won't even have the time to compose all that cos of the kind of girls that would be flocking him. His advert shows that he's lonely. |
I'm beginning to believe the rumors that the child she's carrying isn't Mohbad's seed. I mean prominent people have promised her a substantial amount of money if the child turns out to be Mohbad's... besides, if she doesn't have anything to hide, why avoid a test you're not paying for? That child doesn't belong to Mohbad. |
nairalanda1:The list is actually top 10 Nigerian movies watched by Nigerians on Netflix. The op didn't edit the thread properly. I don't see how I be paying subscription for Netflix just to watch Nigerian movies. I know that they're seriously improving, but they're not there yet. |
And the suffering of Nigerians under Tinubu continues. |
