A lot of governors don't actually care about the development of their own state. They're just there to loot as much money as possible. Most states in Nigeria, once you leave the capital more than 65% of the remaining local governments are under developed. Bad roads, no electricity, zero presence of banks and other businesses...etc. Would you expect a foreigner to invest in such a place? |
folake4u:Pap and ogi are the same. Ogi is the yourba name for pap. Amala and eba are both swallows. If both are removed from your list, what do you eat your soup with? |
Issey miyake perfume 200ml. Don't ask me for the price, Google is your friend. |
Pizza. I still don't understand how people enjoy eating it. |
folake4u:You're welcome. |
Emperor5:Go for HP elite book if you want to use it for all the things you mentioned. Sadly you'd have to add to your budget cos it's above 15k. |
LilMissFavvy:Regular calls are mostly for those in long distance relationships. If I'm dating you and we reside in the same state, you'll be spending the weekend at my place so what am I calling you for during the week when I know that we'd both be very busy? |
TOPCRUISE:How many Christians genuinely hear from the Holy Spirit |
kisszhira:See eh stop arguing with me, I don't have strength this evening. Have you ever been to Abakaliki before? I'm talking about the abandoned skyscraper at presco junction by WDC (women development center). You're telling me he completed it. |
The day you understand that the average Nigerian politician only engages in projects or development that benefit them personally and not the people is the day you'll stop defending and dying for them. Elechi was building world trade center (or whatever he called it. I can't even remember) at presco junction Abakaliki, after spending and squandering billions on that project, he still couldn't complete it after 8 years. So he commissioned it like that. An uncompleted building. This Dave, after talking over from elechi, rather see how he can make that building useful to Ebonyi people, he abandoned it and started his own projects. Why cos the knew that completing that skyscraper wouldn't benefit him in any way. |
iswallker:Stalking you for what exactly...as celebrity way you be or what? You were the one who spammed my mentions first. I'm only pointing out your ignorance and arrogance. So that next time before coming out to embarrass yourself online you should first understand how things work in your country. |
iswallker:https://www.nairaland.com/8078484/multichoice-ignores-court-order-proceeds Suspended indeed. Shebi today is May 1st. Try subscribing and see if you'll be charged the former rate. A company tells you that they've increased their subscription rates and you're here ranting about how FCCPC suspended the action. Does the government themselves obey court order? Like I said earlier. Most of you Nairalanders just rush to post without reasoning. |
Jashub:1 pair of stock jean is currently 20k at Mandilas in Lagos, long sleeve shirts is about 15k, shoes starts from 35k and above. Imagine giving someone all that and he disposes it in the trash and you're here saying his way no pure. Do you know what it takes to give out clothes that are still very useful to you in this Tinubu's era and the gift isn't appreciated? Some of you just condemn people recklessly without putting yourselves in their position. |
Tallesty1:There are still timid male teenagers everywhere whom if you leave in a room with a girl would be too scared to even touch her laps |
Storypot:Lol...you clearly lost on the realities of the Nigerian cooperate world. That guy as a teenager might be done with NYSC between the ages of 22-24. If that's the case; with his sharp brain, he can easily get bank jobs because age is very much on his side. He can work in Tech companies, telecommunications firms...etc. And the good thing about this is that his entry level salary wouldn't be less than 150k plus other allowances. Of which can climb to as much as 500k or more before he clocks 30 if he's focused. So with such earnings, if he decides to reach out to her, she wouldn't deny him attention. Most especially when shes's aware of his current status. She would visit him, sleep over and they would do the do. |
folake4u:Lol... na so Lagos stress hold you reach. Eyah sorry. |
This one is still a teenager na. Fear wouldn't allow him talk about love to the girl. But there's still hope for him cos he's intelligent. When he graduates and gets a good job, nice apartment and potable ride, he'll come back to eat the fruit of his labour. |
folake4u:Lol... sometimes you'd get to save a lot by going there. Sometimes you might be feeling too lazy and just patronize the grocery store in your environment. Thus paying more for your provisions. For me, it all depends on how lazy I feel going to the market. |
folake4u:The more local the market is, the cheaper their prices would be. |
folake4u:Even on the mainland, the prices aren't fixed. That's why most people like going to the market to buy their groceries cos it's definitely going to be way cheaper than getting them in shops along residential areas. |
GloriousGbola:Provided he has money and spends it lavishly on them, they'll remain a good and obedient wife. |
folake4u:Prices of groceries in Lagos isn't fixed. It's mostly determined by the cost of shop rent in that environment. That's why someone can buy Kote fish for 8k at Lekki and another person would be buy the same fish at mushin market for 3k. Because you can't compare the rent the shop owner at Lekki is paying to the shade space the seller at Mushin is managing. Same goes for areas in the mainland. Groceries in areas with high shop rent would obviously be more expensive as compared to areas with cheaper shop rent. |
Rather than build a conducive environment for businesses in the country to thrive, they'd rather choke them with multiple taxation, harsh policies, unfriendly business environment...etc. Then they'll come on air and tell us how they plan to woo foreign investors into the country. Whereas the ones they have are leaving in their numbers. Do you think a foreigner would just dump millions of dollars into your country without investigating if your country has a business friendly environment? Nigerian leaders are one of the worst in the world. |
immortalcrown:She brought it to social media to encourage tiktok girls to follow her path. Not everything should be kept secret. When you share your story, it will definitely change someone and save a home. She did the right thing. |
Water scarcity during rainy season.... isn't Nigeria a wonderful country? |
Yea I agree with him. She's obviously the best that's why he wifed her. |
iswallker:I said their new price adjustments have been confirmed because I also got their message. Go back and read my previous message. You just confirmed what I said with regards to the price increment which gotv themselves confirmed. Yet you're calling me a liar. Simple comprehensive English is so difficult for most of you guys on Nairaland. |
