Wainey:I'm as confused as you are bro. Like what does she want to use the tyre for? |
Some cultures permit the brother to marry the widow of his late brother. In cases where the brother isn't permitted to marry her he can choose to help her without expecting anything in return. In the case of trying to sleep with your brother or friend's daughter, that's gross irresponsibility on the side of the man. Cos he's taking advantage of a vulnerable child. It's so wrong. |
If those 4 soldiers were killed in the south, by now those shameless hoodlums would have razed the entire community where the killings took place. They would have murdered innocent women and children. Now it's in the North, they can't stand and fight. Bloody cowards. |
We know. But it's all in the past now. We've moved on. |
folake4u:Enugu airport is the busiest airport in the South East. It's not an issue of low patronage. I believe it's an issue of tribe. If you're a billionaire and you open an airline company, you'll cover your geopolitical zone along with similar zones before considering other zones. That's the normal thing in Nigeria. folake4u:Yea. They're usually on time. Another reason why I feel afternoon flights are usually delayed is that in most cases the aircraft might have completed up to 4 flights that day before your boarding time. So the captain can request for timeout (like we saw in the last Air peace issue where there was no pilot) or the plane might develop a minor fault which might delay the flight by some hours) If you study most local aircraft crashes in Nigeria, they're usually from mid-morning to afternoon flights. The aircraft would have completed more than 2 flights that day because developing fault. No morning flight has ever crashed. Morning (first flight) remains the best. folake4u:Lol...I don't pray to experience it biko. And besides of recent I've kept Air peace on hold due to their high cost. Maybe when their fares come down I'll come back to them. |
Ebubu:Typical mentality of the average Ebonyi man always ranting like an animal without even bothering to check what he's ranting about. 1. You've never entered flight in your life. Your stupid lousy rants just proved that you're just a lousy market boy. 2. I'm also from Ebonyi State (one of my parents is). Perhaps if you had taken your time to read my comment without placing a curse on your generation due to your frustrated, depressed an miserable life, you would have seen it. 3. The average Ebonyi State civil servant living and working in Ebonyi State earns less than 100k. So aside from Ebonyi politicians, a few top federal government workers, top bankers and Ebonyi indigenes living outside the state, how many indigenous Ebonyi people (you inclusive) can comfortably cough out over 100k to book a flight? 4. I don't usually engage frustrated low lifers in any kind or form of debate cos they lack the intellect to reason beyond sentiments. This would be my last reply to you. |
Ebubu:Look at this clown. What makes you think I'm from Enugu State? I'm taking about passenger traffic you're here bringing tribalism into it. Enugu bound flights picks Awka passengers, Enugu passengers and Ebonyi. Most Enugu bound flights I've entered, whenever I come down at emene we that are continuing to Ebonyi State are less than 10. Out of over 80 passengers. That's why Air peace despite the fact that they landed at the Ebonyi airport with the then governor, refused to add it to their destination list, cos there are no passengers. That's the reality on ground. |
Urheadmaster:It's not an issue of upgrading. Even if he put $10bn it would still be empty. Airlines don't ply the Ebonyi route because they don't have passengers. Most people going to Ebonyi State are already used to taking Enugu bound flights. And most airline companies that ply Enugu are not ready to add Ebonyi to the list of destinations. |
folake4u:Most of those northern owned flights don't reach Enugu, both Max, Rano and the likes. I don't know why. folake4u:Funny enough, I've never experienced their delayed flight before. I'm guessing it might be their afternoon flights that gets delayed most of the time. Their 7am flight is usually on time, they have never disappointed me. And I'm a lover of 7am flights. |
folake4u:I've heard about Max Air. They seem good too but they don't fly my route (Enugu) that's why I've never boarded them before. They cover the North. Abuja, Kano, Kaduna... I'm only conversant with airlines that fly my route like the ones I mentioned on my previous post. As for Air Peace, I don't avoid them because of their delays, I avoid them because of their price. Cos when I compare them to the other airlines flying my route, they end up being the most expensive. This is what makes me discard them. |
Villa12:It's very common with family members. Once you're abroad, they'll believe that they're entitled to your money. Some would complain and won't thank you if they feel the money you gave to them isn't what they were expecting from you. |
folake4u:If you value your life, better stay away from that airline cos they're always in the news for the wrong reasons. From flight delays to faulty airlines, last year they had to reverse an Abuja bound flight from Lagos midway cos it developed a fault. Their planes are old and worn out, that's why they're always developing faults. If you're trying to avoid Air peace because of their high fare, there are a handful of airline companies with new aircrafts like Ibom Air, Green Africa, United Nigeria...etc. That would take you to your destination in one piece. In 2022 when Air peace were charging about 80k for their Enugu fight, I entered Green Africa 50k to Enugu...The plane was very new and clean. I enjoyed my flight. It's much better than entering that flying coffin called Dana. |
It still baffles me how people still feel comfortable booking this particular airline. Very useless airline that terminated so many lives in the past and has had so many near misses in the last few years. If you look carefully you'll notice that the nose gear is gone, probably got damaged. That's what caused the accident. |
Tonididdyx:Are you aware that there are wealthy people who senators fear and respect in this Nigeria? Show of power in Nigeria is for the poor. You can't show your power on a wealthy person unless he's your political rival and you have concrete evidence to nail him for something he did that's against the law. Anything outside that, you'll be shooting yourself in the foot. Imagine Sanwo olu going after Dangote, Femi Otedola or Mike Adenuga or Tony Elumelu, because their kids stood up to his kid who tried to bully them. Shebi he's a governor and he has power...He'll just allow the matter slide cos he knows that such battle isn't worth it. It can render him politically useless after his tenure as governor. The rich don't fight the rich. They'd rather have them as allies. Their power is for the poor. That's why you fear and worship them so much. Cos you're poor. |
ChizzyBuna:No poor or middle class parent in Nigeria can afford to send their kids to a school where politicians kids attend. So I believe it's safe to conclude that everyone in that school are of equal financial class. ChizzyBuna:If I can afford to enroll my kids in a school that boasts of senator kids as students, it means I have the same popularity as the senator in my my own field which could be business, career, military...etc. So my child should be confident enough to tell me if he/she gets bullied cos I pay the same school fees with what the senator's child is paying. ChizzyBuna:You're clearly have zero knowledge of how things work in Nigeria...Let's take this new British school that was on the home page few days ago. Their fees is 42m. Don't you know that anyone who can comfortably pay 42 to enroll his kids there isn't an ordinary person? So who do you want to lock in such a school? A CEO, or an expatriate? If your kid bullies my kid, I'll go to that school and give your kid the beating of his life, then withdraw my kid and leave. If your dad is a senator, when he hears of my own status, he'll definitely allow the matter slide. The rich don't fight the rich. They prefer to bully the poor. Cos they know that the poor don't have the means to defend themselves. |
ozo13:Threatening to do something without actually carrying out the threat is just empty noise. If half of the parents withdraw their kids from there, the school management would sit up. |
Why can't these kids who are being bullied speak out? Cos I know that there are countless cases of similar incidents going on in that school and the victims are too scared to confined in anyone. This is bad publicity for that school. If I'm a parent with any of my kids schooling there, I'm withdrawing them ASAP before they kill them for me. |
meobizy:Exactly |
Bongadu:So this babe married Prince Harry. I'm currently watching a series on Netflix (Named Suits) she was Rachel Zaine in that movie. Never knew she was his wife. |
sammirano:Lol...how many kids who finished second education at 15 learned any skill by the time they got to 18 aside paying video games and pressing phones. They're kids, they don't yet understand the need to develop themselves so as to become financially responsible. That's why you as a parent are there to guide them in order to ensure that they get the best education. |
Mayflowa:The university can sack him. Jail would be when the matter has been formally reported to the law enforcement agents. |
Tallesty1:Lol...welcome to Nigeria. I use to tell myself that all my kids would finish secondary school at 15, gain admission into the university at 16, graduate at 20 and finish service at 21. By 22 they should be gainfully employed. I hate unnecessary delays. |
Tallesty1:My brother the matter weak me o. 😩 |
id4sho:They don't have any law that denies a child below 18 university education. Do they? |
Heat is the only reason why people sleep naked. It has no benefit. The day power failure ends in Nigeria is the day Nigerians would stop it. |
Sermwell:It would make you as a parent take a breather earlier than expected. If all your kids are done with NYSC at 21, they'll be looking for jobs and with that age, they'll be hot cake in the employment market cos every multinational company would be on their trail. Struggling to pay school fees for your kids at 24 and above is wrong. No parents wants that. |
Proserpina:Have I ever told you that I'm looking for a wife? |
I honestly do not support this. So if a child graduates from secondary school at 15 and clears his/her WAEC. What the government is telling us is that if the child's parents cannot afford a private school, the child would stay idle at home for 3 years before giving university education a shot. That's like delaying the academic advancement of that child. Very bad if you ask me. And for the records, I finished my secondary education at the age of 15. |
Proserpina:What's CR? 🙄 |

Goodluck with that
