Goodlady: lavylilly:As long as you're not withdrawing above 100k, their charges should be quite fair. I withdrew 30k this evening and was charged N400. That's fair if you ask me cos the operators too have to survive. |
EreluRoz:Lol. You clearly haven't been to white wedding receptions of recent. Dedicated to which God? A place where they play all kinds of circular musics, MCs makes all kinds of silly jokes, the bride's girls on asoebi openly negotiate hook up prices with guests. The goal of it is basically to show off and not to glorify God... I'd rather go with my wife to the church after my traditional marriage for Thanksgiving, kneel down on the altar and receive my blessings from the pastor than waste my time on that nonsense and deceive myself that I'm dedicating my marriage to God. |
Goodlady:POS is readily available to meet your needs. |
EreluRoz:Church marriage isn't biblical. Traditional marriage is biblical. God instructed prospective suitors to go to the girl's father and pay the dowry. That's the biblical practice. Read your Bible from Genesis to revelation. God never instructed anyone to organize a marriage ceremony in the temple, synagogue or church. The missionaries that came to Africa came with white wedding cos that's their own traditional marriage over there. There's nothing wrong in doing your traditional marriage, then you go to the church with your spouse for thanksgiving. And the pastor would bless your union. Rather than doing your own traditional marriage and that of the white man. What kind of slave mentality is that? |
EreluRoz:Traditional and court. Doing church is like repeating traditional twice. |
EreluRoz:Says who? Men even prefer it now to traditional and church cos it's much cheaper and faster. With 50k you can run a court marriage here in Lagos at the registry. Also, court marriage is recognized all over the world. If you want to travel out of Nigeria today as a married woman, which document do you think you'll present to the embassy? Your court marriage certificate. |
EreluRoz:C is the legal wife cos she's the only one with a legal backing, binding her to the man. If he sends her parking, she can sue him with proof of legal marital documents and demand settlement. The rest can be thrown out of the house and nothing would happen. |
NapoleonHill:Not just the power sector, every sector in Nigeria is messed up. |
brain54:Go back and read the instructions again. It clearly says read all questions especially number 10. It didn't instruct the candidates to answer any. |
I said this on a similar thread. Nigeria generates less than 5,000 mega watts and you're expecting NEPA to sustain 20 hours of electricity supply for Band A customers? That's impossible. They would never be able to meet up with that target, and the customers are the ones who would be on the receiving end cos they'll be paying through their noses for darkness. No thanks to the incompetence of the Discos. |
For were...I bought 5 alive (Pulpy) N1,200 yesterday. Something that used to be around N800 when $ was N1,900. The price really shocked me. |
These northern elders should allow us hear word. Weren't they the ones that unanimously endorsed Tinubu and backed him for presidency? They should stop making noise and enjoy the policies of their candidate. |
EreluRoz:What pains me is that she had the financial resources to move away from that monster along with her kids, but she refused. It's a pity she left before her time. |
EreluRoz:Osinachi's case still pains me whenever I remember it. All because of religion, she refused to pack her things and leave that monster. |
folake4u:After scoring 2 ojoro penalties. De play. |
grandstar:This is exactly what you guys said when Tinubu removed fuel subsidy. Today all the monies realized from subsidy removal have been looted. Tinubu doesn't care about Nigerians. His kind of politics is about state capture; install dubious characters into positions of power and use them for personal benefits, it is nothing any youth should learn! Unless we want to create a generation of criminals. His leadership style is taxation of the people until they die of hunger. Nothing more. Point one area in Nigeria that's working since Tinubu took over and Nigerians are benefiting from...None. |

Only in Nigeria would a government hike electricity tariff without any justifiable reason and people would support them. Take a tour around Lagos; Nigeria's business hub, more than 65% of basic business areas cannot boast of 12 hours electricity. Most small scale businesses are folding up due to high operating cost with almost zero profit. Tinubu's government is working tirelessly to plunge every single Nigerian into abject poverty. That's why they take actions that would drain the finances of the masses. This was how he removed subsidy last year without any plan to cushion the effect on the masses. Up till today, we're still suffering the consequences of his ill convinced plan. Now, they're asking us to pay more for darkness. When you complain, his poverty stricken supporters would tell you that in the USA they pay more for electricity. Forgetting that their minimum wage is about 1.5m while ours is just 30k. APC is a curse to humanity. |
You're hiking tariff by over 200% when power generation is still less than 5,000 megawatts. Coupled with the frequent collapse of the national grid like an epilepsy patient. So technically, customers on Band A would not experience any visible improvement in power supply aside paying more for it. How Tinubu's supporters still find a way to sing his praises despite his harsh suffocating policies which even the blind can see should be added among the 7 wonders of the world. |
Why can't wike leave this man alone and focus on the job he has in Abuja. Why are Nigerian politicians so greedy? You want to control Abuja and control Rivers State simultaneously...who does that? |
folake4u:At least the guy would have bedtime stories to tell his kids that being Jesus isn't an easy task. |
