With the new tax regime, Nigerians will soon become the heaviest taxed citizens in Africa with nothing to show for it.

PMB's govt has already been swallowed by the various cabal in the country. shame !
Wen GEJ complained about the many challenges he faced, they claimed he was clueless and attacked his every action and inactions. Now dey are feeling where d shoe pinches. Someone asked why Nigerians want to blame Buhari for d state of d nation and actually forgot dey set d precedence during the last administration and even now dey are d ruling party. If it's good for the goose then it's good for the gander.

If Jonathan could use the DSS through Marilyn Ogar to wade into a matter on industrial dispute, then the DSS has every right to look into EKITI State fraud related matters.

Maybe they were using the looted funds to sponsor a terrorist group.. undecided

Do you know if the nature of their mission in Ekiti State was a National Security issue?
Well considering their new overriding function of making arrests on behalf of the EFCC, corruption charges are now cases of national security.

Fhuck Ekiti state.

That useless state is just a distraction to Nigeria. They don't contribute up to 0.000000001 of the monies that accrue into the Federal account yet na them dey worry us pass.

I wish EKITI state na ehn dey fight for emancipation like IPOB, we would have kicked them out of Nigeria since. angry
So if d state is a distraction to the nation, why exactly is d DSS interested in d distraction. I don't get d DSS these days making arrests on behalf of the EFCC and police. I thought dey were only involved on matters relating to National security but these days their job description has gotten bigger.

People seem to have accepted the current harsh conditions in gud faith. Imagine having to pay outrageous fees for non existent power in d name of estimated billing. I think dey jus look at d location of the building and jus fix a rate. My bill over the past couple of months has increased from 5500 to 9800 dis last month and it's even more annoying considering d supply in d last couple of months has become really annoying.

However, I detest these media trials and headlines that distract the populace.
Sometimes I wonder, If these kinds of news are not well orchestrated to placate and distract the masses.
I think the "accused" person(s) should start suing media houses for slander etc.
That way they media houses will be compelled to verify their sources, and we the populace will get informed and not fed propaganda.
It's exactly what it is ; a ploy to distract gullible Nigerians from the actual realities and kip dem busy. Media agencies and d EFCC are going to start answering sooner or later.

Politics › Re: The National Embarrassment Called APC Governance by Nbote(m): 10:02am On Mar 10, 2016
D truth is wen u kip making excuses and blaming something /someone for every thing dat is wrong, U'ld probably neva get anything done. It's really pathetic how some of U make excuses for the govt. Some claim corruption is fighting back, others claim sabotage and a good number as usual blame d PDP and GEJ in particular. Fuel scarcity has been lingering for sometime now even before the botched strike by the NNPC and yet No one is talking about it or asking why even wen we all know d marketers still hold the aces as always. D govt has claimed at various times dat d refineries were up and running and at various times reports have indicated otherwise. Atleast if dey come out to tell Nigerians d real state of things instead of feeding dem lies always, d people would see things d way dey really are.

Una funny no b small. If dey have to prosecute him for claims relating to misappropriation of funds why not go to court with all the evidences like dey are doing now instead of fabricating malicious and really fictitious tales and allegations. D govt and EFCC's trend of keeping the media awash with baseless and fictitious allegations which dey end up denying or can't provide evidences to is becoming really embarrassing and stale. Dey generate all sorts of allegations and reports of with "anonymous sources" and wen dey get to court d charges and allegations start changing. Let the EFCC com out with d media claims jus like the defence lawyer has challenged dem. Dis whole charade is becoming really laughable yet some of U still think dis indicted people are being shielded from justice somehow.. smh

Politics › Re: Nigeria To End Petrol Imports In 18 Months – Kachikwu by Nbote(m): 12:03pm On Mar 09, 2016

The last few stoppages have been due to pipeline sabotage from enemies of progress that still turn around and scream when they start feeling the effect of their actions.

I dont get how we wish for a lot of evil to befall nigeria and then complain when things go wrong. Its like praying for a building you are inside to collapse. We really need to have a change of heart.
What last few stoppages are u exactly referring tohuh Are u referring to the current fuel scarcity, or d refineries dat were claimed to have started production but are still as dysfunctional as it has always been. If u had read my post well and and understand my point of view based on present realities then u'ld have understood what it meant. I simply stated d obvious dat for d nation to stop importing fuel den d refineries must have to be working and at full capacity for the goal of stopping fuel importation to be achieved. Even new ones would even have to be built for the nation's fuel demands to be fully met. However at various times over the past few months, d NNPC itself has come out to tell Nigerians d refineries are yet to start production while at the same time d govt has come out to claim they were all now fully running... Like I said earlier, all d useless propagandist statements would have to be put aside and actual works carried out instead of "words of mouth". If dis nation has to move forward and if things are to get done, people have to stop blaming others for the state of things and actually do their part to change or atleast improve on the status quo. We really need a change of heart from dis new trend of having to blame someone and something for everything wrong instead of doing something about what's wrong. It's really getting boring.
Politics › Re: Nigeria To End Petrol Imports In 18 Months – Kachikwu by Nbote(m): 8:51am On Mar 09, 2016
D only way dat can happen is if and when our refineries start working again and to full capacity to service d nation's fuel needs. If d govt actually gets to work and stop all the propagandist statements it's quite achievable because we've all heard our refineries were working at some point and at other points dey have reopened and then no production and all sorts of contradictory and conflicting statements from the same govt.

I really don't blame ur or ur likes but rather our so-called leaders especially d moslems who seem to hide behind their religion to break every law in the Constitution. The Sharia court, the Emir and even some religious elders in the community were all involved and yet u ask why people blame Islam?? I guess we should blame Amadioha for not letting his thunder strike people anymore.

So the soldiers were being overwhelmed until fighter jets were deployed, I thought d BH could no longer plan coordinated attacks abi d army is now also a soft targethuh I think the govt shld jus let d military do their work over there instead of trying to do it for dem from Abuja with their mouths. Camps have been cleared territories retaken, network shattered blah blah. So na fly dem fly com now? Anyways more bravado and bullets to our gallant soldiers and more mouth to d govt I guess. I'm still waiting for Buhari to lead d war like most zombies wanted GEJ to do.

Truly 5% but doesn't wail............Gbam#
If say u get sense U'ld have understood the post but obviously the zombie in U is greater than wateva little sense u were supposed to have as u couldn't hold back d urge of doing d usual thing of mentioning and blaming GEJ. Yes d man embarrassed himself in front of the whole world like we all saw it but he was also obviously doing his duty there which was defending his his party's vote. U probably didn't understand the part where d bribery charges and all other charges have been dropped which is clearly due to a lack of evidence which should be an embarrassment to any right thinking Nigerian because it gives credence to the whole witch-hunting claims. It's becoming clearer most of these cases are jus cooked up and d EFCC keeps making a fool of themselves in looking for what charge to eventually pin on people on the long run.

Dis is for the Western region and other developed regions where job interview isn't made to look like a date with the devil or meant to unsettle d applicant.
