I applied at abj and I got decision mail this morning,I want to know how soon I go travel for pick up because I'm not in Abuja at the moment.

I went to the VAC after getting decision mail and my passport was ready and there already. Got collection mail immediately I picked it up.

TBH I'm so worried about mine,did my biometrics on the 22nd August and priority paid for..going for PhD but from observation today,people who did their biometrics after my own date have gotten decision on their application..I even tried calling the UKVI number here today and they said we are sorry bla bla that my application is still awaiting a decision despite my priority I paid for..I just hope tomorrow I will receive my miracle because I've not slept for a month now

I just went to the office after the decision mail. Cancelled the courier I had paid for before. And picked it up. Yea carry the print out and maybe photocopy of your data page.

My brother I'm a PTDF scholar (local though). The local scholarship was worth 1.5m and it was just increased from 750k in my time while the foreign was increased from 3m to 5m. It's the PhD scholarship that makes more sense. It's about 5m for local and 25m for foreign.

Personally, I think the guy should go for his MSc if that is truly what he wants, he can always get scholarships to further in Europe if he does really well cos that is his best bet. Coming back to look for employment is a no no for me. If he intends to come back and start looking for employment then he needs not go in the first place.

If the scholarship covers
Tuition
An allowance.
Flight Fares.... I don't see how 5M would be sufficient. That's about 12-15k pounds.

PTDF scholarship is a nice one, but it depends on where u intend to utilize it. My guy if na UK and na MSc just siddon for here go do documentation cos I know it's worth like 5m but if it's not UK maybe Canada or USA secure ur visa first before you bone this FBN thing.

But if na PhD which is worth 25m then my guy u are free to do as u like. UK or not...opportunities will flow once u finish all over Europe, Australia, SA and even America.

Evaluate your options properly, pray, seek advice from experienced people, Evaluate your life goals and dreams and pray again. Then be sure you are doing the right thing.

Least would be 10M. 5M would barely cover tuition not to mention upkeep. Although I would encourage him to do documentation if summoned.

Bro, i gas forget about this first bank o, infact i am unfollowing this thread after this comment. Initially, i thought firstbank pays like 250k per month. From what i have heard so far, i am pretty much disappointed. My present job just raised our salary to a net/take home pay of 183k per month excluding other potential benefits.

Okay that's good. But you shouldn't define(stay at) a job because of financial remuneration.

Congratulations DanXplore....If they call you for documentation before you leave the country just go and do the documentation.... go with the flow. That's my suggestion.
After the documentation you can always email them when your visa is ready that you would be traveling.... You would be surprised how things might shape up. Good luck
