Hello my people, I am new here and will need your wise counsel.

I want to apply for a UK Visitor visa and will need your guide on below concerns.

1. Is it safe to indicate that i'll spend GBP1200 during my visit? Note: i earn 500k after deductions, self sponsored with a statement of about 6m and also have my own firm which is additional source of income BUT not a steady one.

2. I wish to stay for a week max (Is this safe or should i state 2 weeks instead) so it doesnt look false.

3. Will there be a conflict if i indicate that i am employed and self employed(own my own firm) at same time??

4. Will it make any difference to include a landed property and, my daughter as ties in my application? (Or will someone think i am trying too hard to prove ties?)

5. Do i need an invite from the UK or can I just apply as a tourist intending to stay in a hotel/hostel? Which will give more credibility to my application?

Your response will be HIGHLY appreciated as i am TOTALLY clueless about the decision process.
1. It's okay to indicate that you will spend that during your stay. It's a VERY decent estimate given the duration of stay
2. Your earnings is great. I feel you do not have to include your private business but that's up to you. There's an additional income section for that
3. I don't think you can indicate both at the same time
4. You can but it's not a MANDATORY requirement. Your job is a tie
5. No you don't need an invite. Personally, I have NEVER used one.

Why wouldn't TLS operate? Isn't it a privately held company?

I want to renew my passport as I urgently need it as a mean of identity to obtain a drivers licenses, I have tried filling the appointment online but there is no appointment date as of now.
And please any advice to go about is is very much welcomed
Thanks in anticipation
To the best of my knowledge they aren't accepting new applications. Only issuing emergency travel documents and distributing passports in their possession before the lockdown but I could be wrong.

Okay. Must it be changed at the airport or when the person get out of airport?
You are not compelled to change it anywhere. It's at your discretion to do so whenever and wherever i.e at the airport, post office etc

Good afternoon everyone. Please we are having an argument here. Can a tourist travel to the UK with dollars instead of pounds sterling?
Yes. The person will have to change the dollars to pounds though on arrival, same way you can travel to the US with pounds and change to dollars on arrival.

Families are encouraged to use Flexi appointment. I have tried the option but no date. What will happen if we all choose premium lounge with the same time? This option is available for Friday but not same with Flexi till maybe late December. Positive suggestion will do.
Book individually. Try and book everyone on the same time. During submission/biometrics tell them it's a family application.

I didn't chose flexi appointment seems it comes with extra charges
I chose same date but different timing
Family size of 3
My wife is the principal applicant 11am
My son 11am
Me 10am
Our appointment is on Thursday
I just hope all will be smooth
I was in the same dilemma earlier. My family just went at the same time and they were attended to. We couldn't pay for Flexi appointment online and they weren't asked to pay for it at the VAC.

Hi fellas, pls i need little clarification here, i have already booked a flight with the Turkish airlines, after confirming from more than two nairalanders, that the airline is not requesting for covid test, i have started hearing conflicting info s, someone said that at the turkey airport they are asking flight passengers to pay visa fee because it's a connecting flight, pls i need an accurate info, pls help me.
Check with the airline. Is it an air side transit or will the passenger pass through border control?

If you are staying air side and not passing through border control, some countries do not require you to have a transit visa. The much I know Turkey doesn't but I could be wrong as rules change quiet quickly, I suggest you contact the airline.

Good morning all, please is it a must to buy a return ticket for your visit visa or you can simply buy a one way and get the other when you are ready to come back
Except you are not a tourist i.e you are student, temporal worker etc.

Please get a return ticket if you are a tourist. The border control officer might deny you entry with a one-way ticket.

P.S I purchased a one-way ticket once and was granted entry but I was also warned not to try that again as a tourist. The immigration official was just extending her discretion to me.

don't mind my typo I was rushing and typing. I was in Nigeria carnival in Dublin Ireland in 2018. I also was in Lusaka Zambia last year with the piccolo theatre of Italy. I have pictures for all these. my passport is expired I have a new one now... so what's my chance of getting a UK visa. I also have 4m in my account now
I believe you will be fine.
1. You have a job and a decent amount of savings
2. Your uncle is funding your trip
3. You have a decent travel history

The arrangement or structure of your marriage isn't the ECO business. Their business is to ensure you are a genuine visitor and that you will abide by the rules of your visa class.

In addition, can you get the palace to write an introductory letter for you? No required but it might attest to good standing.

Good evening to the gurus in the house.

I have my visa interview on Wednesday but the house address used during my application is no longer available.

I have seen another however and am willing to pay tomorrow to secure it.

I feel I would be asked about where I plan to stay during my study program.

So, do I stick with the one in my visa application or finalize the new one?

Hope using changed address would not be to my disadvantage as well?

Thanks.
Then tell them where you plan to stay.

Good afternoon guys.

I am planning on visiting the UK for the first time in November, however I want find out if its mandatory for me to provide a letter of invitation from my friend in the UK.

The only person I have in the UK, is my friend who lives in London.
It's not necessary. As long as you are the one sponsoring the trip i.e you are paying for ALL the cost and will not be staying with your friend during the period.

Good Day House, please I have an Uncle in London who is a Veterinary Doctor, and he has a house over there, I wanted to go for a visit, do I need to provide statement of account, I'm a 300L student, or once he sponsor everything I don't need statement of account? I have a house already in my name given to me by my dad, and I have some money in my account also but I don't receive salary. NB: I WANT TO KNOW IF HE IS TO TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING, IF I STILL NEED TO PROVIDE STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT THEN
Thanks
No you don't have to. It would be good to show that you have some money of your own that is accessible to you but its not a requirement. If he is your full sponsor all you need is your passport and he will provide the rest of the required documents.

Helo house pls can I apply for Uk visitor visa by October this year if I am going March 2021 or May 2021
No you can't. I think the rule of thumb is no earlier than 3 months to your travel date, but I could be wrong. That said, I have had instances where I didn't travel on the date I initially intended to travel and I didn't encounter any issues travelling on a later date with the same visa.

P.S your Visa begins to count on the date it was issued, so unless you intend applying for a 2yr + Visa, it makes no sense applying in October for a possible March trip.

√ There is nothing wrong in mentioning her sister and it will not any way complicate things. If she wants to visit her sister, she should state it and give how many days she will be there. Note- In the application she will be asked if she has any family or friend in the UK. I will advise she state yes and she will also be asked if visiting them, yes should be the answer.

√ It is very important to let the eco know where y husband stays because of future applications. If your hubby is in abroad put the country and beside the eco does not have any biz where y hubby is. Just tell them the location and be truthful.
True, there's nothing wrong in mentioning her sister (as she is visiting her) and I didn't say she shouldn't.

My recommendation is based on the fact that she is only staying there for a few days then moving to a hotel.

Unless the husband is a sponsor, it is not necessary dragging him into the application.

Personally, there's no need making a rather straightforward application complex by offering unsolicited information.

Anyhoo, it's her application to do with as she sees fit.

Goodevening All,

Please i need advice on how to go about applying for Uk tourist Visa with my 3 year old daughter.

*** i have a sister who is married in the UK but my main intention is to stay like 1-2 nights at her house since i want to pay for hotel (I like privacy) while main purpose of visit to give my daughter opportunity to explore other countries.

** I earn N346K monthly, I liquidated my investment (1.8m) and also sold a shares of about 200k into my salary account last month with my cooperative of 470k to drop by mid september to enable me have enough money. By end of sept, i should have 2.8m and i want to apply in 2nd week of October.

*** I plan to travel in Dec

*** I have only traveled once out of naija to dubai and my daughter has never traveled out.

*** Also, my husband isn't in the country, do i need to add him to picture?

** Kindly assist with what i need to present, probably a sample cover letter, do i need to apply for my daughter seperately?

Your swift response will be appreciated.
I don't think you should mention you are staying with your sister as it might make things complex.

You can do a cover letter explaining the inflow of cash into your accounts.

It's okay to indicate married in the relationship status but I don't think it's necessary explaining where your husband is.

Yes, you need to apply for your daughter but you are the primary applicant.

When filling your visa form you will be prompted to indicate the individuals you are travelling with.

You can use any sample cover letter online or just state what you want to say in the additional information box

Your salary is decent enough. Goodluck!

Erica : I had s*x in the HOH lounge, I've done everything there. She also agreed to giving a bl*w job, when Neo asked. I don't want them to play the videos from there to the house she added.

Ask your bank for a dollar card. Its pretty to get one nowadays.
You wont have the $100 restriction if you get one.
I have a dollar card though but I didn't use it for payment but there are comments here about people not being able to make payments using a dorm account domiciled with a Nigerian bank.

Please does anyone use their Nigerian naira card to pay their UK visa fees? I’m about to pay online but I’m worried it won’t work or the money will hang. Also will it make sense to include a copy of my US visa as supporting documents? I’ve not used it before so I didn’t select US as a place I’ve been to.
The US visa is not really a supporting document. But you can include it if you want.
