Well, i am not sure you did any wrong as you indicated info as shown on your CAS, but then best thing you would have done would have been to reach the school and correct the error, they say "what's worth doing is worth doing well", regardless of time it would cost you to get it done. But, to indicate the interest you were paying on a public thread like this is probably what you doing wrong now and shows you probably went for an arranged POF which are wounds you would not like to unravel. So be calm and hope for the best.
Let's call a spade a spade, if the CAS had indicated that OP paid a deposit of 1k quid, OP would likely have reached out to the school to get it fixed irrespective of the time it would take. Let's try and be doing the right thing and stop speaking from the side of our mouth.

YES i attached the passport with the stamp including the flight booking for that travel history..

or do you feel i need to write a letter to the ember with the GFW ref number. Is there any need.
Then that's totally fine. I honestly don't think you should worry, at least not about this issue

I think the point here is that based on the form she filled, it is indicating that she went there on holiday and actually spent 6 years there which is an obvious breach in immigration laws and grounds for the UK to refuse her. @cutebear, sorry about this. It depends on how thorough and forgiving the ECO is. If it was a recent trip, the ECO could check the submitted passport for entry and exit stamps and realize it was an error and move on but this was 10 years ago so they may take it that you overstayed your visa and are a flight risk. Or they may reach out to you for further information to clarify this. Have you been to the UAE after this?

@debbie what do you advise in this case?
1.Can she reach out to TLS or the embassy to correct this mistake with proof of the entry and exit stamps?
2. Does she withdraw and re apply
3. Or does she just hold out and pray?
This is debatable as the context is not provided actually. For example, you can visit some countries as a tourist and be able to stay for long durations of time (greater than 1 year e.g. Turkey). Personally, I do not think it is an issue as long as other parts of your VAF is okay and that they can clearly see that you have made some trips within that 6 years period i.e. that the 6years gap is likely a mistake. I think OP also included their old passport or ticket as they mentioned that in a previous reply.

IT does not have a space to pick number of days except date.
Oh I see, the last time I filled the VAF, it had that option. Well I think it's not something you should worry about though.

The account is good , but remember she can't use more that 2 month disposable income to apply for a visa ? What she can do is to be sponsor by someone i.e husband or parents by transfer the sponsorship money into her account before she apply.

Her salary is 88k even her 2 month salary without deducting her monthly expenses can't fly

This is my little contribution

Good luck
Pray tell who set this 2 month rule?

Please how many months of bank statement does one need to provide for standard visit visa for a wedding?
Also, what's the least amount to have in the account.
Personally I would say 3 - 6 months. But I think the standard is 6 months. Just have enough to cover the cost of your trip and some money remaining to hold body when you come back from the trip.

Since there will be little or no inter-state trips,an i4 sedan is perfect.

Get her a 2010 Honda Civic, very stylish, sleek looking and economical sedan.
Your budget is ok to get a clean toks.

I recommend imported one,and should be checked well.

She will most definately enjoy the car.
thanks. I will check it out

Good morning all.

Guys, please I need your help
I received TLS mail for document collection on 29th of December but I'm not around for the pick up and didn't apply for return by courier during my biometric then. Have been sending TLS mails on how to pay for the courier service since then but no reply. So I need your help/links to apply for courier delivery or is post-biometric courier service payment not possible?
Send someone there with authorization to collect. Let the person go with your slip

It's not. Read the refusal doc again, his salary is approx. 550 pounds/month. Think, if you could find a job that pays you double that, would you return to Nigeria?
The job is a tie! The standard of living of someone earning 550pounds in Nigeria is better than the person earning 1500 quid in the UK. Everyone knows this!

Sadly the only way to contact them is either through an email or call. You can exercise a little bit more patience if you don't need your passport urgently.

Ha!!!! Ewo. I was thinking the same but I wasn't sure. House, please what do you think? Giselle, Debbie? Please help
It doesn't make any sense to withdraw your application because of the reason you just stated unless there is something else. Also given the reason you just stated I am fairly sure you will not be banned if the circumstances you presented here is the same as the one you presented in your application. Your refusal is over 10 years ago and I believe your circumstances have changed since then.

Last last do whatever puts your mind at ease.

Make una no dey too panic. Reviewing your application and making a decision takes much less time than you think it does.

WOW! Hello house, @giselle237, Prophetess Debbie, Good Morning and well done. Pleaseeee, I need your help. I just read this story and I may be in similar shoes. I applied for a UK visa 2 months ago. I submitted necessary docs, healthy business and personal account statement, marriage certificate, ties etc. I also listed all my previous travel history which includes roughly 14 countries- The US, UAE, South Africa, Qatar, Bahrain, The Bahamas, Cayman Island, Jamaica, Mexico; amongst others. I want to believe my good travel history, finances, ties make me a good candidate to consider.

Now, here is my main issue and fear based on the above. They asked a question about have you been to the UK in the last 10 years and I said no which is correct. Have you been banned, deported, I also said no which is correct. Have you been refused a visa to the UK or any other country and I said yes and listed one country which was Cyprus with the reason- the visa was severely delayed and when they checked my hotel booking, it had been cancelled. The embassy even reached out to me regarding this but the course I was going for had already passed so I didn't bother rebooking the hotel or taking it up with them. Now, the issue is that I thought these questions related to the last 10 years. So, I didn't include the fact that I was refused a UK Visa back in 2006; 15 years ago when I was a Master's student. It was only after I read this OP's story that I went back to the form and realized the 10 year question only related to the visitation. But the question on refusal was based on one's entire life. Is there anything I can do? Can I write to them to explain that I misunderstood the question and declare that I was refused a UK visa back in 2006? What can be done since I mistakenly declared only 1 refusal of Cyprus instead of 2- Cyprus and the UK? What are my chances? I am really palpitating and don't know what to do to fix this please.

I would really appreciate any advice I can get. God bless.
Let it be i.e do not do anything and keep your fingers crossed that you get your visa. You have a decent background so your mistake might be perceived as an omission rather than an act of willful deception.

Hi everyone,

Please I did not purchase return by Courier service for the collection of my documents and I really need it now because I'm not available for the pickup and I have gotten my collection mail.
Can I still apply for the service, if yes, how please?
Maybe contact TLS. I'm not sure about post submission return courier. Alternatively write a letter and give someone your slip to pick it up(that's if you have someone who can do that).

@giselle237 and other gurus in the house, thanks for your wonderful guidance. I wish I had found this thread sooner. I am British citizen married to a Nigerian and w live in Nigeria together. We have been together for 8 years and married for almost 3. In this time, we have been to more than 12 countries together including the US, British territories, the UAE, amongst many others. My husband has never overstayed his visas or been deported. He has very good and compliant travel history.

He has never been interested in the UK as he prefers America and other countries that are more exciting but he finally applied for a UK visa for his first time. He runs a genuine service business that turns over about 3m a month so he included his reg documents, business account statement which showed over 20m in genuine customer transactions over the last 6 months. The transactions are daily and consistent and his cover note explained the nature of his laundry business. He also explained he has a team of over 15 staff as well as his parents here in Nigeria. He also included his personal bank statement as well as my savings account which had in excess of 10m; as I am a director at an American company in Nigeria. We included my British passport, marriage certificate and explained we are going there to visit my family (mum and family) who are also British and his own brother and sister who are also British. We included the invitation letter as well as a breakdown of how much he would spend while there which is about 2K pounds and he had double that in his personal account and the amount is also less than his monthly income. Based on his extensive travel history, his British spouse and our strong finances, do you think he has a good chance? Is there anything else we should have considered?

I would greatly appreciate your feedback.
Your partner should be fine.
