Good day my brothers and sister,

I want to go to France on vacation,
I am a student in the uk with a biometric resident permit,
I currently have a confirmation of permanent residence for Canada and have until September this year to land in Canada to have my pr

I av enough money for the trip as I have a business in Nigeria and pays salary monthly to my personal account.

About travel insurance can I buy from Nigeria or it has to be the uk where I am resident.

I know I need to submit evidence of 50euro daily for upkeep for the duration of my stay in the shengen area and also uk bank statement and school document.

Can I also show my Nigerian bank statement as that is where my funds are and I can show evidence of business registration
You can get from your school for free. My school provided all my travel insurance as a student.

You can submit your Nigeria account.

He has 2k euro in his account, the tri0 will cost him arround 900euros. He's just going for vacation in UK(tourist) and return to his base. He's not coming to visit me. I'm just scared the visa officer won't think it's unreasonable as a student to spend 900 euros out of 2000euros for vacation
Okay, his profile is fine. Let him add proof that he is a student. Let him not add a financial break down as it is not a requirement. The trip can cost way less than €900.
1. He can reduce the duration of stay
2. He can book a hostel

These things will considerable make the trip cheaper.

Hes applying from Belgium but his funds are low(I don't want to do cash lodgement), my own bank statement will be my US bank statement.

I want to know if there will be other documents I'll need to submit al9ngside my bank statement
Is he coming to visit you? How low are his funds, and what does he do in Belgium? If he has at least 2k quid or thereabout in his account and, for example, is a student in Belgium, I would recommend he applies with his profile. Let him not do a financial breakdown.

You can still sponsor his trip if he is not coming to visit you. Just say it is a gift for something (You have to explain what the something is, it could be academic performance, birthday gift etc). You can state the truth that he is your cousin.

You will need to also do a cover letter. In my case when I sponsored someone as a gift (I did a letter stating where I work, how much I earn, my relationship with the person and how much I would send the person for the trip once their visa is approved.) I also added my bank statement.

Either way your cousin should also attach their bank statement

You can use this same DS160 to fill the form, and search for US visa appointment in UK website. You must use UK address on your visa application and appointment.

Important note, do waste your money and time on the US visa application in UK, There is 99.999% of refusal chance for Nigeria student going to US for visa from UK on study permit. The VO knows your plan to move to US permanently as UK immigration plans do not favor African (Nigeria). Just find another means to go to US forget about the visitor style or conference style.

You may try your luck. not bad in trying my friend
My first US visa application was as a student in the UK after submitting my dissertation. It's distasteful to assume that people want to illegally migrate. OP just have a justified reason for your trip; by justified, I mean it could be anything. I was going on a vacation and could show that I had a vacation plan.

Does anyone know if I have to have a negative covid test if I'm transiting through France on my way to the UK? The information Air France is providing is very confusing. You are only fully vaccinated if you have less than 9 months from second dose, I got vaccinated in June last year.

Please if anyone knows let me know, so I don't get stressed at Murtala.
No, you do not need one. You are not self-transfer, right?

Not true. If you present a good case, you'll get your visa. Remember it's a Nigerian that determines who determines your visa in most cases so they look at your documents in their eyes as a Nigerian
This is not true.

You're good to go, the stated condition is for your passport to have atleast 6 months validity before your application.
The UK does not require this though, i.e. you do not need a 6-month passport validity to apply for a UK visa. Just make sure that your passport is on the day you enter as your departure from the UK while making the application.

where can their visa form be downloaded and also ASAP the Flight and Hotel You mentioned

so we cant book a dummy flight and Hotel it wont fly??
I am not sure about using a dummy booking as, at times, they contact the accommodation to verify. I have attached a list I received from the embassy when I inquired. I stayed in an Airbnb and just used my host details. I do not know if they contacted him.

So, how about those that have unregistered business and not working under any company but their financial statement is presentable ?
Then you can use it and possibly explain your source of income.

Thanks for sharing this bro ,
My question is, must it be company statement of account or personal statement of account related to payslips ?
Not really. Just an account in your name should be fine, it's advisable to use your salary account though that way it backs up the payslip.

wow that's good!!!

boss how is the country??

how is their infrastructure and light??

is it a leave able place for non Muslim believer??

is the country dangerous to leave or is there anything like slave trade??

please I will love to hear from ur experiences

thanks, and God bless!!!!
I enjoyed it, though it was scorching! I was there for roughly three weeks. I mainly was in Marrakesh but spent a day in Casablanca. Throughout my stay, there wasn't any power failure. The infrastructure seems okay, and I am not a Muslim.

It is important to note that your experience as a tourist is different from that of people living there and I cannot recommend a place based on just visiting there for three weeks. At the end of the day, it depends primarily on what you are going to do where you want to go and how much money you would require to have a decent time/life and if you can afford the said amount.

It’s simple nau. If you a given 3 months multiple visa and 30 days stay, it’s either you stay 30 days at a stretch or break the visit in to parts, that should add up to the 30 days within the 3 months validity. You can’t do 30 days, exit, and come back for, say 10 days with the same visa because it’s within the 90 days validity.
This is not true. I decided not to reply again to let it rest but...... I hold a 12-month multiple-entry Schengen visa with a 90-day stay. It means I cannot stay in the Schengen area for more than a 90-day stretch it does not mean that I can only stay in the Schengen area for 90 days in a year. The rule to follow is 90/180 and if your stay is not greater than this then you are fine. But OP please do whatever you want.

Hello.

As an undergraduate going to study in the UK, is dependent also allowed?
You can if you are being sponsored by the UK government or an overseas government

If you are self funded, you can't.

Hi,

Are you saying if OP is issued 30 days number of stays with 90 days expiration, OP can stay 30 days at once, come back to the country, later travel for 10 days and 20days respectively?

That means OP would have stayed 60 days in a given 90 days expiration/duration?

So, in just three months, OP would have visited the Schengen territory for A whole 60 days? Please doing what?

What happens to the 90/180 days rule?

I earlier shared a link with you, did you go through at all?

Regards,
Hi, a stay is counted as you being inside the country for a given duration if you leave the country it resets. Using the US as an example on a tourist visa you cannot stay longer than 6 months in one stay even if you have a 2-year visa.

You can come for 6 months at a go, leave for one for day and get an exit/entry stamp and come back the following day. You have not broken the terms of your visa.

For OP to break the terms of their visa with regards to duration of stay they would need to enter France and stay in the country for 31 days.

This second highlighted is not our business but OPs business. I personally love travelling, and I do that often; OP could also be that sort of person. I also know people that take breaks from work and travel a whole year.

You are right about the 90/180 though. Your max duration of stay within a 6-month window is 90.

Hello guys. Please I’d like to ask

1. how fast a France visa can be issued.

2. How much is the visa fee.

3. Best way to apply and get a quick response.

4. Is it possible to get a visa within 7-10 working days.

Thank you.
1. Ideally can take up to 15 days or more especially if applying from a country outside your nationality
2. Last I paid was 80 euros
3. There is no formula just ensure to add all relevant documents
4. Yes, I applied from Lagos sometime last year and it took 3 days I think
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 3:00pm On Jun 20, 2022

Hi,

You are not permitted to stay beyond 30 days on all trips, even if you plan to go 5 times before your visa expires, you are to spend 6 days at every visit.

Schengen visa rules are strict and logical.

https://www.schengenvisas.com/schengen-visa-types-validity/
That's not true. If the visa validity is for 30 days and it's multiple entries, then OP can travel and spend 30 days at once and come back, travel for 10 days and come back and later travel for another 20 days. So as long as OPs visa is valid, they can travel and spend any amount of days they want within the validity of the visa and not longer than the approved stay in this case 30 days.

This London not Nigeria baba
It wouldn't hurt OP to email and ask. I was in a fix then, as the dates I saw meant that I would miss the class trip; I emailed and got a reply. I used one of the agents on the list and got my visa in time for the trip.

If I had not emailed the VAC, I would not have known that they had accredited agents that submit applications on behalf of individuals and had the opportunity to do this at desired dates. In addition, I was at the Ankara VSF (Turkey) recently and again met a few of these agents with applications to submit on behalf of individuals.

In Nigeria, they might have, and it's also possible that the French embassy in Nigeria does not allow VSF in Nigeria to do this, but the only way OP can find out is to email or call VSF and ask. Worst case scenario, it would be that they do not have.

P.S these agencies charge a premium fee though as at then in 2018 I think I paid 200 quid. But they help you fill out the form, arrange your documents and submit them. I just came to the VAC on a convenient day gave my fingerprints and left. When your passport comes out they will pick it up for you. They do not guarantee visa approval though.

Candybright:
Good to know. Does this apply to applicants from Nigeria? I can see that the accredited agents are for London
There are for London as I applied from London at the time and reached out to their VAC in London. Reach out to the VAC in Lagos or Abuja and ask; you might be surprised that they have. I know VSF global handles the Ankara (Turkey) VAC, and I know they have a list of accredited agents.

HRprof:
TLs is different from VFS
The list you got is for visa application outside Nigeria and is for premium appointment even here in Nigeria you can get an early visa appointment for UK visa by yourself on Premium without agent because you have to pay for it. I do not think France have a premium visa appointment for early date so no agent here is accredited for it.
