NwaAmaikpe:

They need fresh graduates who aren't starting NYSC any time soon.
P&G should just say the truth;
They need cheap labour, Or vulnerable graduates they can exploit. Internship my scrotum. Don't show your ignorance! as a graduate intern with PG you earn over 100k. Please guys give it your best shot! Apart from pay package, exposure and training on offer, if you do well you could get an intent to employ commendation which kind of guarantees your employment after youth service. The first stage is a computer based situational judgment and computer based. The second would be a written test GMAT kind of mathematics, basic English, patterns(abstract). After the stage next na interview for Lagos it can also be done over the phone. Good luck guys and all the best! |

Splicit: Nigerian star singer, Azadus, decried the x-rated content aired on cartoon network by DSTV. The TV channel which is supposed to be the safest for kids in respect to adult content has left many like Azadus in dismay.
Proper screening of kids' programs aired should be done else things might just get out-of-hand. One can imagine how furious Azadus is, seeing his innocent kids watch adult content on a supposedly safe channel for kids.
http://bodexng.com/2017/08/cartoon-network-turns-porn-azadus-cries/ Honestly I think this is edited. It makes no logical sense that CN would be this explicit! |

Question1: Okay, on the 12 July, I had three consecutive deposit of 4m,5m and 6m. So I started counting from the following day 13 July to 10 August Personally I feel it would be good to show deposit, that's MY OWN OPINION O. Especially if the individual didn't state he was working or sorts like that. But I might be wrong. Your account has traffic though. |

Question1: Hello guys,
Someone should please clarify this for me as I don't want to make any error. I have printed my bank Statement, have had several deposits in my account which eventually totaled 6 million as at 12 July, however I stated my 28 days on the following day 13 July and I printed my statement today, 10 August 2017.
Now, my statement shows.. Statement Period: 12-July-2017 to 10-August 2017. It also shows an opening balance of 3,054,000 and a closing balance of 6,054,129.... Is that reasonable?
Also, GT bank staff told me they don't issue a cover/reference letter for a saving account holder, so they didn't give me. Did the transfer hit your account on the 12th if Yes. On the statement asterisk the transfer and in your cover letter or additional information explain that you started your count on 12th checked the rate and your parent/self/ funder transferred the required sum. Print the Oanda rate for that day and attach to your application. |

goingape1: calling people names, is it socially acceptable behavior
this are something to avoid if you mind your own business! So if someone calls you a name your default reaction would be to beat the individual up? wow! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Manana, South African Minister Beats Up Lady For Calling Him Gay (Photos, Video) by Nchabuomo: 8:02pm On Aug 09, 2017 |
Bigsteveg: So calling someone gay is normal abi, because he's a public servant now he should always have his intelligence insulted. He should have her arrested. Yes he could arrest her, but now hope you she can have him arrested. He physically assaulted her. Whereas in his case she can deny ever calling him gay, especially if she didn't say it to the hearing of others, but in his case he can't deny and this act might cost him his seat. |

Got this from a fairly reliable source. Please DON'T quote me. The ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND people were shortlisted for the exam to fill about 750 positions. 500 to be recruited by the end of 2017, 250 by 2018 on the expectation that 40% of its work force would be due for retirement or would have retired in 3 years time. |

SirJeffry: Thanks for your help my brother, I do appreciate. You know what..... Rather than leave the land fallow you can lease it out . That way it's making money for you. Depending on the size you could get a farmer to lease the land and if you are willing to do a mid term lease like 10-15years you could get serious investors. In that time you might have decided what you want to do with land. |

What Nigerians bank do you think is best for such though I know all of them are certified by CBN and insured by NDIC. Yea Nigerian banks are solid! So no fear. First Bank is good I know someone that runs a fixed D with them and the rates are great. They just drop his interest and roll the capital. |

SirJeffry: To be sincere with you, I came to see why I should consider the hotel option because I never liked it and all I've read have confirmed my fears. As for the fixed deposit, I don't mind tying the money down so far it's safe If hotel or hostel will give me unnecessary stress. If you want your money to be 100% safe fix it. Approach banks and negotiate rates. I think anything above 10M you should be able to negotiate the interest rate. All the best man!. Owning a business ( hostel or hotel) is a serious commitment and you must prepare yourself for eventualities in business |

sonnie10: #40m is barely enough for a 2 story 30 rooms (each ensuit with kitchen). Excluding cost of Land, I think its enough. no be open floor inside toilet call am bath room ?kitchen is basically a room with a sink. That's assuming you didn't have to sand fill the site and all. |
Investment › Re: Hotel Or University Hostel Blocks Which Is Wiser To Invest In? by Nchabuomo: 4:49pm On Aug 08, 2017 |
sonnie10: 30 rooms at 120 per room for a year is #3.6m
Say you bought the land for #5m and built with #40m total is #45m
Therefore it is going to take you about 12 year to get your money back.
But if you do Tbill and rollover the interest and capital at 18%, it will take you 4 years to recover your money
Note . House and land will appreciate in value. But it won't be anything compared to if you continue to roll over the Tbill for the same 12years Why would he use 40 million to build 30 rooms? At 10 rooms per floor that puts the value of each floor at about 10million......... thats really much. Treasury bills is good though but OP can do both a little of each. The land in the long run would become more valuable than the bills! As the Government offering TBills and the interest rate are dependent on prevailing economic conditions. Fixed deposit is another great one but it takes time and to make a reasonable sum you need to fix a reasonable sum, for example fixing 300 million for a year might give you about 30-40 million which you can take the interest and roll over the fix. But 300M is a substantial amount to tie down. If you want to build a standard hotel and you are not well connected JUST FORGET IT! You would loss money But you could build a motel though or a low-cost neat hotel (3k room-5k room) the Profit in hotel business is having your rooms FULLY booked. Affordability and neatness would ensure that. |

SirJeffry: Thank you. As for leasing to unizik and forfeiting my investment after 20 years, I'm not in a haste for returns. I want something that will just be there. I'm shrewd somehow. @SirJeffry has a good point at a point its health to forfeit certain kind of investments as they might become a burden. The Unizik idea is prime if they give you 20 years lease you would have made your return and profit and you can still work round the agreement, such that your firm manages the hostel after the lease agreement ends. Here I mean after the 20 yrs your firm would manage the property collect revenue and remit a certain percentage to the University. |

SirJeffry: Please this is for serious minded people especially gentlemen and ladies of investment and business sections. A friend recently built a hotel in Awka, Anambra State and he's advising me to follow suit but I'm sceptical about hotel business so I'm considering two options.
One is to build some blocks of University hostel in a city with high concentration of undergraduates like Awka and Enugu since I already have acquired a reasonable number of lands in Awka, Asaba and recently Enugu.
The other option is since this is about having something at home, I can fix a reasonable deposit in a bank like first Bank or UBA which will be accruing interest every three months. I'm scared of going into business because of past experiences and besides that, I'm not good in business. All I have been doing is buying lands and keeping the rest of my money in bank, please I need some help. Contact Privately let me give you free business modelling advice and financial plan. |
