Unarguably, to let his Fulani finally own all of Nigeria’s petroleum resources. Buhari does not go for something without over-favoring his Fulani, including those Fulani living in Niger Republic.

Obamaofusa:The old hag is like waiting for the day Fulanization and Islamization of entire Nigeria is completed. At the Federal Executive Council, at the National Assembly, at the Council of States, Fulani-led north controls all, through the undue political over-representation derived from the 20 states scattered all over the place in the north by northern soldiers. Therefore, a president of Nigeria from the south under this political structure is a mere stooge. Such president from the south can’t afford to change a thing from this political structure and governance system entrenched by northern military dictators to favor Fulani-led north. |
Eriokanmi:Lol. The group is Jagaband-sponsored for Jagaband for President after PMB. He uses devastation of the East during the civil war to cow his Yoruba to submission to this Fulanization and Islamization of Yoruba and entire Nigeria. He never knew that to free their people from NAZI TYRANNY, millions of youths in Western Europe volunteered their lives. Most of Western Europe got devastated. Alas, Western Europe got the freedom. When a coward speaks .... OBJ was at most of the Military ruling Councils headed by northern military dictators when Nigeria of independence was restructured to today’s dysfunctional Nigeria with awesome political powers tilted to Fulani-led northern Nigeria. OBJ was civilian president, yet far north Nigeria adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal laws. OBJ as ex military dictator turned president could not get north to complete the National Political Reforms Conference he started. If you make Tinubu or another Yoruba President of Nigeria, what do you expect him to do to get you the True Federalism you want? What do you expect the president from Yoruba extraction to do to free Yoruba from the Fulani you say dominate Nigeria? Develop more sense.
|
Antoeni:Dr Kunle Olajide doesn’t understand that it’s impossible to find the True Federalism he hopes to have for Nigeria, given the extant lopsided political structure created by northern military dictators to favor Fulani-led northern region. Did the Middle Belt region tell him that the political structure doesn’t favor the Middle Belt? Middle Belt shall also oppose True and Fiscal federalism because of presence of crude oil in the south.

adanny01:You have refused to learn: the essence of politics is welfare of the people. Your own essence of politics is promote ethnoreligious interest and interest of a few political heavyweights in a country. When will you learn: a country of inequality knows no peace, and that without peace, no development? Mr Sophisticated, you guys have refused to learn: all parts of a country must sign to peaceful co-existence, else the country spends a fortune fighting undeclared wars, gets crippled? |
Yoruba’s Olusegun Obasanjo, a one time Military Head of State, became President of Nigeria in a democracy but was unable to pull through a POLITICAL STRUCTURING Conference he started, because of the undue superior political over-representation of Fulani-led northern Nigeria in the Conference. Today, Yoruba say Restructure or Oduduwa Republic. If OBJ a retired soldier, could not pull through a Political Restructuring Conference, which Yoruba president of Nigeria can pull Political Restructuring through? Northern military dictators restructured Nigeria beyond redemption!!!!!
|
toluxe0075:Southern president is mere figure head, considering the lopsided political structure of 20 states in Fulani-led north, but 17 states in the two old southern regions. At the FEC, NASS, etc, Fulani-led north has superior majority. OBJ was president; what did he achieve for the Yoruba? Under OBJ, northern sharia states rather adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal laws. OBJ couldn’t do much about it. GEJ could not even provide common pipe borne water supply system in his Otuoke hometown as he was building Almajiri Schools and Kaduna-Abuja standard gauge rail lines, the first standard gauge rail lines in Nigeria. The rigged political structure of Nigeria makes north command whoever is president. |
adanny01:APC is an ethnoreligious political party. Even you know that. Because of that, APC is most likely to die after Buhari. Yoruba Moslems hold on to APC. But no Yoruba can touch Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice System - not even with a long pole. Apex politicians in APC promote Sharia criminal justice system for Nigeria. PDP instead is not based on ethnoreligious interest. |
dangermouse:Osibanjo a VP who asked Yoruba in 2019 to vote PMB so that north will support a Yoruba for president in 2023. Could a reasonable VP of a country of multiethnic groups say such a tribal thing? He has no intelligence for political correctness. That same Area Boy politics. For 2023, this country needs a seasoned politician for president not inclined to ethnic politics to survive, after 8 years of PMB’s ethnoreligious interest in Aso Rock.
|
Translation: Pressure mounts on Tinubu to let north retain the presidency after PMB: Look at Yoruba that call themselves Sophisticated Tribe now trying to dump zoning of the office of the presidency, because it’s turn of the SE. Whither the Sophistication ![]() ??

humberjade:If all of Nigeria is truly fighting Boko Haram, in less than one week, Boko Haram shall flee from Nigeria, or all of them get killed. Did someone not say fight against Boko Haram is like fight against northern Nigeria? |
vonlogon:Because authorities in charge see them as enemy fighters. |
RIP soldiers. You died fighting for people who mostly understand little or nothing, or feign ignorance of, why Boko Haram emerged and persists. So long as One Nigeria exists without being governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws, Boko Haram will NEVER BE DEFEATED. Millions of Moslems in the 12 sharia states of northern Nigeria share the same aspirations with Boko Haram for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws. That’s why Boko Haram emerged and persists.
|
decatalyst:Most hate-filled is he or she who calls fellow citizens of the same country strangers in his or her own side of the same country. If you see fellow citizens as strangers in your area, declare your area an independent sovereign country. |
But a born-again Christian can’t be a Nigerian Senator. Nigerian Senators are like SINators. |
SilverNorGold:When you don’t know that difference between PDP and APC is only in name, it’s called foolishness. Boko Haram says it’s fighting for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system. The twelve northern sharia states adopted Unconstitutional Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice System since 1999. The twelve sharia states stick to one Nigeria because of lucre. But the difference between Boko Haram and millions of northern Nigeria Moslems is like the difference between six and half dozen. |
Nemere2020:What a daring attack. Rip to the dead. Any Nigerian who believes that Boko Haram shall be defeated by force is a nitwit. Boko Haram can stop only when the twelve Sharia states are granted a Sovereign nation governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system; or when the whole of Nigeria starts to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system.

The sin of lust in you looker may be greater than the sin of her who chose to the dress the way she wanted. Just look away, or admire only those who wear Islamic Burqa. |
greall12:Pulling different religious groups into one country or one state brings more crises than ever, Kaduna, Benue, Taraba examples. |
Nigeria remains a country of Fulani CONQUEST so long as the political structure of 36 states and Abuja remains. |
Benitoh:States that made the tribes interwoven were created by military fist - illegal creations so long the state creation were not done democratically. |
Juliusmalema:Divide and rule - that’s what Fulani-loyal military dictators did when they created states in Nigeria. Through the division, Fulani controls Nigeria thenceforth. |
StagethemTVee:Saharareporters cry me a river. Buhari can do anything with Nigeria of this period, nothing happens. Nigeria’s roguish political structure of 20 states in Fulani -led northern region, but 17 states in the two divided southern regions by northern soldiers, as well as Buhari’s handpicking of the leaders of the National Assembly — all gave Buhari absolute powers. He can even appoint who succeeds him in 2023 and make the hungry electorate vote for his appointee - nothing go happen. Those who campaigned and voted for Buhari to become President of Nigeria should have foreseen these.

Aboks:Half education is your sickness. |
JordanMichael:Neolithic - New Stone Age - man? Imagine UK armed forces shooting at Scottish people agitating for independence from GB? Never! |
Umahi, you are building Abakaliki fine for a Biafran city; whether you like Biafra or not is not our cup of tea. You can go to settle in your luxury house in Abuja when Biafra is restored.
|
Aboks:Aboki, Woman used there was a metaphor to describe Umahi as of a weaker sex - a woman. Which community university did you attend? |
Umahi should have better kept out of this than attract opprobrium now. When Umahi steps down as governor, he will definitely join the struggle to restore Biafra. |
Our President is constructing rail lines to Niger Republic for the bandits to come in to Nigeria to take over the whole of Nigeria, to make Nigeria become a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws. Rip soldier. |
Iyoocartel:Now that quota system is turning out more graduates from far north Nigeria, and they begin to feel the pains of unemployment, hopefully they shall begin to see that Nigeria as presently structured and governed, is not sustainable. They must see the need to restructure Nigeria politically to become effective. The current skewed political structure which turns out the Buharis as president has failed Nigeria. |
But unknown, perhaps, to most of southern Nigerians, we lost Nigeria of 1960 to 1990s after military dictators of northern Nigeria proliferated 20 states in the northern region, but gave mere 17 states in the two southern regions, thus arrogated near absolute political powers to Fulani-led northern region. Three regions formed Nigeria at independence. The new states and derivative political constituencies from the states should have been equally created for the three regions when the last states were created. But without that balance of political power between the three regions, a balance now tilted heavily to the northern region since the last states were created in 1996, the self-acclaimed most educationally disadvantaged northern region shall always determine who must govern Nigeria. Mediocrity of apex political leaders must continue to be for Nigeria in the extant rigged and lopsided political structure of Nigeria. |
Timekeeper:Every region of Nigeria is accommodating of people from elsewhere, so long as no region is deliberately denied fundamental development infrastructures- as is the case with Nigeria versus the southeast region after the war. East still remains most accommodating despite the deliberate setback by Nigeria. North was also accommodating until Islamic extremists set the north on fire. |
