The insecurity in Southeast was created by Buhari.

Installing and forcing Hope Uzodinma on Imo state people because of RUGA was a heartless move by Buhari's people.

Even the so called agitation of Biafra that became intensified happened because of Buhari's wickedness and mishandling of IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu online Radio Broadcast only few people paid attention to.

Nigerians should remember when Nigerian Police and Army were using peaceful IPOB protesters to do shooting practice, we warned its dangerous, Amnesty Intl, etc warned but gullible Nigerians said nothing will happen.

Today some of the IPOB fanatics are no longer easy shooting practice for Nigerian army and Police.

The same way, if they continue to mismanage this insecurity and be taking it as a tool to discredit Peter Obi and disenfranchise Igbos from voting massively for Peter Obi, there might be greater consequences that we all cannot imagine.

As strong as Russia is, they thought they would defeat and take over Ukraine in 3 weeks, but its going one year and Russia have lost thousands of soldiers and almost running out of ammunition.

Everybody knows the beginning of war but nobody knows how it will end. Don't think your region is safe and wish Southeast evil, be careful in supporting evil

I agree with you that the insecurity in the southeast was instigated by Buhari govt, after all, the IPOB people marched in hundreds of thousands all over the east, and even in Lagos, but no violence was recorded. Suddenly, soldiers started to kill IPOB people who were armed only with Biafra flags.

But I don't agree with you that an Igbo who says he is struggling for restoration of Biafra will kill Igbo soldiers and policemen. Because a person struggling for restoration of Biafra should know that the Igbo soldiers and policemen in Nigeria armed forces shall train the Biafra army recruits if war comes up again between Nigeria and Biafra. Yes, some Igbo miscreants might be rented to join the unknown gunmen ravaging the east.
There are non Igbo soldiers and policemen walking free in Igbo land. Why wouldn't those Igbo purported to be responsible for killing Igbo soldiers and policemen, not also attack non Igbo soldiers and policemen in Igbo land?
The federal governmen also set up a well-oiled propaganda machinery to confuse every one.

Before Hope Uzodinma became governor, did Imo state witness any violence like what has been happening in Orlu area since 2020, and now extending to other parts of the state and beyond? Hope Uzodinma's vindictive program against Orlu LGA is spreading tentacles. Uzodinma represented Orlu senatorial district for 8 years but refused to have a senatorial office hqrs in Orlu LGA, the headquarters of Orlu senatorial district. Hw is unique in that. Recoating one street in Orlu LGA, that's all his development in Orlu (the 2nd largest city in the state) since 3 years. Every government thing in Orlu has been either burnt down or abandoned by Uzodinma government.

From the highlights of the budget you posted here, does one need to be told what the A-Z budget will look like?

The other day, it was reported here that Hope Uzodinma has closed IMSUTH in Orlu, the only govt institution here, as IMSU no longer admits new students in Medicine.
Your reply was that IMSUTH had graduated 3 batches of Doctors under Uzodinma's government. I expected you to verify.

Key salient points are thus:

* Imo state government will rehabilitate the flyovers for 4.2billion

* New refinery project in the offling

* Multi level carpark will be completed

* Centenary tower project is been reactivated probably a PPP

* Pipeline construction to industrial layout

* Onitsha industrial layout to rehabilitated

* IICC will be rehabilitated for 1.5bn

* Improved road construction especially economic routes and markets.

* New market at okigwe.

* Specialized hospitals like psychiatric etc

* I00m for abandoned hospitals probably a PPP arrangement.

* Relocation of police HQ and prison is assured with 60m.

* Export processing zone and agriculture processing zone.

* Industrial park at ohaji in focus.

* Leather market Ngor okpala.

*Imo FTZ Ngor okpala

* Prospects in SPP and Dams.

Overall the budget is good, am very happy with the team that produced it, but exclusion of Okigwe Orlu road speaks volume.

Kudos to Onwa Oyoko and his Economic team.

Orlu was not mentioned anwhere in the budget.
Another attestation of Hope Uzodinma's disdain for Orlu; he no longer hides it.
Dozens of urban roads in Orlu are no longer passable.
Even the Industrial layout he talks about in Owerri, late gov Sam Mbakwe also acquired a large portion of land in Amike, Orlu, for Industrial estate.
