Bola Tinubu invited Muhammadu Buhari to come to APC to contest presidential election, when Tinubu and others formed the APC alliance.
Bola Tinubu therefore is supposed to be a great participant in the policies of Buhari government. If Tinubu was sidelined by Buhari after Buhari became president, that means that Tinubu has never been a good politician at the national level, but only a local champion.

Why Tinubu is more qualified.

1. He has seen it all, regionally and nationally, and has the experience. He was one of the forerunners of a merger that took power from an incumbent party.

2. His masterplan in Lagos state proves to be highly sustainable, and successive governments have leveraged it.

3. Tinubu is known for assembling great brains. His legacies are felt around. Unlike Obi who cannot boast of any technocrat he worked with.

And so on.

Because of his past drug crimes, Tinubu was nor allowed to hold any official post in APC by
Buhari/Atiku and others who formed APC with Tinubu. Because allowing Tinubu hold a political office in APC risks the party getting recognised internationally as party of drug trafficking barons.

Buhari cabal sidelined Osinbajo but chose Tinubu and placed Shettima as VP in order to have Shettima become president shortly after May 2023.
But you Tinubu supporters from the SW refuse to see reason because you can't have Igbo become president of Nigeria. Tribalists to the core. Obasanjo was president. Why will Tinubu be president before an Igbo? Never gonna happen.

Sick Tinubu frequented UK hospital for treatment of Parkinsonism in the last five months. Obi has not frequented UK or any othee country's hospital for treatment.

Tinubu is a political pariah before the leaders of the powerful Western nations, because Tinubu was caught with proceeds from drug trafficking in the US.
Tinubu can't withstand 20 mins of cross examination by seasonal journalists in presidential election debate, but Obi can stand more than that. The difference is clear, except for ethno-religious bigots.

Obi is a million miles more qualified than Tinubu.
