Reread your explanation of past events in Nigeria, it's like Nigeria is a country of Northern Nigeria. Alas, these actors brought Nigeria to be a country harboring the largest number of poor and hungry people, as well as one of the highest insecure countries in the world.
Yet these actors still want to foist either Shettima the Boko Haram sympathizer or Atiku on top of Nigeria from May 29, 2023.

Let by gone be by gone, yet new ugly occurrences happen.

We have seen how adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system by 12 northern sharia states brought Boko Haram war which reduced most of Nigeria to paupers and insecure.

Now we have Muslim-Muslim ticket in APC, and Atiku positioned in PDP, in case the Muslim-Muslim ticket fails. Enough.

If he becomes president, such a country will become a pariah State before the eyes of the country's budiness partners.

Rubbish!!! What do you mean that no Igbo man can organise destruction in Igbo land? When did Ndigbo become angels that we now lack people who can carry out destructions on the home front? Look, we better learn to remove the log of wood in our eyes instead of adopting this hypocritical stance that has brought us here. Many of our people hailed IPOB when they took up arms and were attacking police and army personell so let us not play the ostrich now.
If you are Igbo, you are one of those gullible Igbo people who Fulani herdsmen or other Jihadists would enter your household, kidnap and rape people from your household, and go to the media to propagate the falsehood that Igbos or IPOB people who are struggling to restore Biafra did the kidnapping and rape of people from your household, you believe that Igbos or IPOB people did it.

No do, no do, Nigeria armed forces will move into your area, kill more Igbos, arrest some and bring Biafra flags and some guns, place the Biafra flags and guns in front of the arrested Igbo men, force them to confess that they did the abduction and rape in your household.

Nigeria is poor because of rotten politics and bad governance."

You are right. No outsider is sponsoring the idiocy happening in the South East. Igbos have been brainwashed to believe in Biafra and that it can be achieved through violence. It's quite unfortunate that our people didn't learn from the civil war. When you try to enlighten them, they start insulting you.

I maintain that one tribe cannot successfully break away from Nigeria. If you want to pull out of Nigeria, you must form alliances with other regions and tribes that think alike so you can conquer the might of Nigerian military. If not, you will just end up turning your region into a war zone.
Don't indulge in self immolation, self hatred, and by extension, hatred for your Igbo people.

No reasonable Igbo would organise and sponsor the killings and destructions going on in Igbo land. For what? For Biafra? No. Fact is: Igbo haters sponsor the killers and marauders in Igbo land today. The non Igbo sponsors root their acts on IPOB/ESN misadventure of introducing arms and ammunition against armed Fulani herdsmen.
Would you blame Yoruba Nation agitators, or the entire Yoruba people for the murder of more than 40 Church goers in Owo, Ondo State and say because the Yorubas did it in the name of agitation for Oduduwa Republic; you thereafter question the Yoruba if they don't understand that no one ethnic group can pull out of Nigeria successfully?
Why do you take Igbos for stupid nonentities? That guy doing propaganda for IMSG would write the type of things you wrote. He is ignored, because we know where he was coming from.

Just watched a video online where late Prof Dora Akunyili said Peter Obi as gov of Anambra state
embarked on public water supply system in many locations of Anambra state. I am aware that gov Umahi built a multi million Dollar surface water supply system in Ebonyi State, like the type completed by late Mbakwe in Owerri but half completed in Okigwe.

Since 2011, Imo state has been blessed or cursed with governors (except Emeka Ihedioha), who tell themselves LIES: governors who tell themselves lies that cities, urban and rural areas are not provided with treated portable water supply system; set of governors who tell themselves the LIE that private water borehole system is a substitute for treated portable water supply system; after they stole money that should provide treated portable water supply system and forced the citizens to did private water boreholes.

Water supply: many roguish state leaders in the SE today no longer think of providing portable water to the citizens. They tell themselves the LIE that people now sink private water boreholes for domestic water supply; as if they don't know that private water boreholes system is NEVER a substitute for public
water supply system. Agberos in power in many states in the SE.

As for this woman who said:

She needs to reconsider her stance over the frustrations APC of Tinubu and Atiku visited her and her people, she needs to vote the Labour Party this time for a better Nigeria.

People come online to project who will get what during 2023 elections but don't even know what's happening in the East. In rural areas of Imo State, for example, unknown gunmen are going about threatening people not to come out and vote on election day.

In fact, we saw them kill an INEC official after they warned people several times about registering for PVC, but they ignored such threats. If things continue like this, voter apathy in the South East, especially in rural communities, is likely to be the worst in the country.

Where all this is headed is already becoming scary because it appears we are going to learn something the hard way - no matter the level of disdain you think the Nigerian state has for us, never allow non-state actors to bear arms under any guise because it doesn't end well.
Who sponsors the so-called unknown gunmen in the SE?
It's hard to believe that any Igbo man without SELFISH POLITICAL INTERESTS will entertain any dissuation of voters in the SE from going out to vote given the great opportunity available now for an Igbo man to succeed President Buhari. Igbo leaders, if there are still any left, need to search for the people sponsoring the unknown gunmen in the SE before the self-centered Igbo person or persons, succeed in stopping people in the SE from trooping out to cast their votes during the presidential election.

I posted this on the Ebonyi thread and felt it would be good to repost it on other south-east state threads as well so we can have a constructive discussion on how to improve on our cities and make them world-class.
Afikpo must have been thanking God for removing it from Okigwe zone in present Imo state, and placing it in Ebonyi State, considering the level of urban development in Afikpo under Ebonyi State.
If Afikpo was left in present Imo state with Owerri as capital city, Afikpo must have become worse than it was before the civil war, more or less what Orlu and Okigwe remain today under Owerri as capital city of Imo state.

Owerri Master Plan?

Every gov of Imo state right after Dee Mbakwe continued to look for Owerri Master Plan up to this day. It has been construction and demolishing in Owerri and rebuilding in Owerri up till today. What about Orlu Master Plan, as well as the Master Plans for other urban centres in Imo state for whom Imo state was created to develop?

I remember former governor Ihedioha say that Orlu and Okigwe must be given a befitting Master Plan.
He left, even the urban roads reconstruction works his govt started in Orlu were all stopped by governor Hope Uzodinma.
Owerri Master Plan search has become an avenue to steal govt funds in Imo state. Who steals the funds that should have gone into providing Master Plan and urban infrastructures for Orlu, Okigwe and the other urban centres in Imo state?

If Tinubu wanted peace for development of Nigeria, he should have seconded one of those SE presidential materials who formed APC with him and others to succeed President Buhari.

Tinubu believes in the old order when party men and women on election day stuff ballot boxes with votes favouring their candidates and rewrite election results.
He doesn't yet know that no Nigerian in his right senses will cast a vote for an old and sick Tinubu who forfeited $460000+ drugs trafficking money to the US government in the past, Tinubu who now suffers dementia and speech defects from Parkinsonism. Who wants Nigeria to be a pariah state?
The case of Manuel Noriega, the former Panama president who was involved in drug trafficking business before he became president of Panama, and after he was sworn in as president, the US sent forces to Panama and arrested Noriega for his past drug trafficking offences, hurled him to the US, tried him for his past drug trafficking offences, jailed him in the US where he died in Prison?
The US government does not take drug trafficking offences in its territory lightly, no matter how long ago the offence took place.
