eduj:Wicked. What school did you attend that taught you this falsehood? It’s like you people don’t have conscience as you preach this your Imo governors developing Owerri megalopolis thing while the rest of Imo state dry up. How about let Owerri wait for government to develop Abuja to grow and expand to Owerri forming one Abuja Metropolitan areas including Owerri? Some of you need correctional services. To blame are the last three governors of Imo state who deformed the devt pattern of the state set out by Mbakwe. These governors are like they’re schooled to believe that only state capital deserve government attention in a state. I used to go to the state library in Owerri opened by then Enugu based East Central State government, for example. But since Imo state got created from East Central State, no state library has been allowed to exist outside Owerri. No tertiary education institution, no ministry, nothing owned by government in Imo state was allowed to exist or survive outside Owerri. Why, why, why?? |
ijustdey:Mallami has been taking Nigerians for a big ride. From his charging unarmed IPoB civilians as terrorists to now telling Nigerians that they can be prosecuted for using Twitter. He is taking too much. Yar’Adua’s Attorney General of the federation, Aandoaaka, was standing erect the Yar’Adua presidency long after Yar’Adua had died in Saudi Arabia. It took one bold step by Jonathan people to use police to demote Aaondoaka and reveal that Yar’Adua had died long ago in Saudi Arabia. |
dre11:PMB would have been on impeachment roll before the National Assembly before now, if not for the ethnoreligious bigotry that infested Nigerians, especially the northern Moslems. How could the Executive section of government alone ban Twitter which affects the lives of millions of people and businesses in Nigeria, while the executive did not consult the Reps of Nigerians first? The Judiciary in Nigeria has since been deleted with style by the Executive branch of government. |
lathrowinger:Without Tinubu, Nigeria for no enter this deep hole it’s in now. |
ebukajay184:The man Igboho, knows what he is talking about. He knows the fact that cattle is no longer profitably reared by wandering herdsmen with cattle in bushes. These days, cattle are reared in private ranches, artificially inseminated, not by a bull, milked for profits million times better than wandering in the bushes. Why do Fulani insist on the outmoded wandering in bushes with cattle? |
This is the only thing the enemies of our darling nation are all praying for and we pray that it never comes to this. For all of you praying for war in Nigeria, Sorrow, tears and blood that you crave for so bad will be your portion in your abode before 21 days from now. No be curse, Na FACT! Peace shall reign in our nation. All evil herdsmen and their sponsors no go ever die better for dis Country, along with any group whatsoever bringing unrest and chaos to our darling nation. God bless you too sir. Goodness and Mercy follow you everyday. A better Nigeria is all we want. It is always good and refreshing to see we still have people like you on this forum and in the country. The future of our country is secured if we can have more youths that reason in positivity. God bless you once more. God bless Nigeria. Amen When someone starts addressing you like this, That means the truth is hitting the right spot inside their brain. We will continue to Stand with the truth and hit them with it as much as we can. A peaceful nation is all we want. As seen somewhere on cyberspace........
But hate comments have been your mainstay on NL since BC. When will you accept that cattle is no longer reared by wandering herdsmen with cattle in the bushes? It’s obsolete. If you must pray for continuation of one Nigeria, it can’t be a Nigeria where a group gets stuck in the 19th Century practices of sharia criminal laws and wandering herdsmen, while others are aspiring for greater heights. |
You no go run away? Only bad Generals fight to the death. A good General runs away on sensing danger to his life; so that he survives to fight for his cause another day. Ask the Tamils of Sri Lanka
|
dumahi:You asked: why now? Fulani fear possible break up of Nigeria more than they fear earthquake. One thousand Fulani make war, one goes for peaceful resolution. Fulani knows statecraft more than any Nigerian ethnic group. See how Fulani used soldiers to restructure Nigeria politically to gain super control of Nigeria. |
Do Fulani cattle herders not know that? Fulani insists on the outmoded method of wandering around with cattle purposely to occupy the whole of Nigeria. |
Grayoso:But 24/7, you are on blackmail of BIAFRAUUUD. Yorubas and Igbos are not only friends, they are related in origin. Count yourself, not Yorubas, as not friend to the Igbo. For you, Kalu is lunatic because of laziness in you which makes you believe that crude oil and gas deposits in the SE and SS are what you need to survive in Nigeria. |
Koulture:A good General does not fight to the death. If he senses danger to his life, he escapes in other to fight for his cause on another day. If he fights to the death, he dies with his cause. Tell that Yoruba man to escape now - if you have head. |
LMS1:You did not count in ethnoreligious bigotry in some sections of Nigeria. The best can’t emerge president in Nigeria. Nigeria deserves the PMB-like president. |
owobokiri:Given the political structure of Nigeria, there is no civil way through which rest of Nigeria can use to eject Fulani/APC from power again. Worse, international oil companies and their home governments prefer Fulani to control Nigeria, than any other ethnic group in Nigeria. |
Freestainworld:When Fulani-led Arewa soldiers proliferated too many states and local government areas in the old northern region to take federal allocations to north, and give excess political representation to the north, that’s when Fulani started to own Nigeria. |
Sammy07:This is exact look of ranches in Europe. Cattle farmers in Europe borrow money from banks to build ranches. |
gypsey:Ha ha ha. As for the worshipers, religion is like opium for them. No one can bring them out of their stupor. |
No industry to employ the givers. Chai. Oyibo who brought the Bible to enslave Africans truly dealt with Africans.
|
Lordsonn:Did you think of Yoruba MURIC Moslems before saying this? Yoruba MURIC Moslems are nearly half the population of Yoruba and they look toward Sokoto for alliances. |
Owerri holds Orlu and Okigwe areas on the jugular through restriction of all tertiary education institutions and social amenities of government in Imo state to Owerri. Result: continued migration of people from Orlu and Okigwe districts into Owerri area. Mass education for natives of Owerri senatorial district deriving from closeness to multi faculty tertiary education institutions littered all over Owerri district - that’s the magic wand. Don’t dowplay the educational advantages restricted to natives of Owerri senatorial district in Imo state for people from Owerri senatorial district. The media propaganda from these largely better-informed natives of Owerri senatorial district are enough to blackmail the best of governors of Imo state to engage in continued urban development and expansion of Owerri area, but ignore the badly-informed “Orlu wu Eze” group and their zone to continue with support for governors from Orlu senatorial district to govern Imo state with no government development institutions and amenities in their Orlu senatorial district. |
OfficialAwol:If Dino Melaye can even understand what you are saying above. Smh.
|
Why SW ? Is that the reason why you abandoned President GEJ and the PDP for APC rooted in Arewa, controlled by Arewa politicians? Are you not aware of the fact that once one region of a country is sick, the sickness quickly affects the whole country? Wake up from slumber, Dino.

NaijaCoverBlog:What did the lady to him before he pushed her to her death? Nobody is interested in that anymore. |
iwaeda:Dalung. Sir, but there are millions of Nigerians in the north and southwest regions of Nigeria dying for APC to continue to preside over Nigeria after PMB leaves office. In other words, Nigeria’s political problems are intractable due to ethnoreligious bigotry. How do you deal with that?
|
sanctity454:Oga, we can easily have a secured neighborhood in Orlu area only if there are institutions of government that attract government attention to Orlu area. For now, there are none. No insult intended: Security for an area does not come from a vacuum. Corollary; if there are no government institutions in an area, government has no interest in securing the area from miscreants. Did you notice when former governor Rochas Okorocha bought many Police Patrol Vans and designated ALL of them to patrol Owerri Metropolis? He invited then Inspector General of Police to launch the Patrol vans. The Inspector General of Police said: “at least, people of Imo state shall henceforth sleep with two eyes closed.” What does that tell you? Imo state reduced to become Owerri capital territory. |
NwaforIgbo:What point? Your point that governors develop state capital at a faster pace than other urban centers in the same state? Have you ever stepped out of Nigeria? Do you know that there are state capitals less developed than the other urban areas in the same state? No state or provincial or regional government in Europe or USA or Asia would dare develop the state or provincial or regional headquarters faster than the rest of the state by ignoring to provide the basic development infrastructures in towns outside the state’s capital, or provincial or regional headquarters, without getting impeached by the legislative house of the state, province or region. Una designed a falsehood in Imo that state capital must get accelerated development first. Show readers any backing for that design in Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution. It doesn’t exist. Now Imo is fast losing its historic towns of Okigwe and Orlu returned to rural area status. You people not from Orlu and Okigwe are happy. |
Lol. The new Biafra group obviously has no business with Biafra restoration agenda . |
MENELIIK:Mr Divide to conquer and exploit, I hear you. Your tactic and story lines are outdated. |
BLACK LIVES DON’T MATTER - Racism is what keeps dysfunctional one Nigeria; not Nigeria armed forces. Oyibo needs Fulani dominance of Nigeria to operate in Nigeria for riches. Fulani knows this; perhaps better than rest of Nigeria. Fulani was part of the Songhai Empire which used government instruments and military conquests to coerce other nations to Songhai Empire.
|
Because Nigeria’s civil war was won for Arewa led by Fulani. Oyibo colonial master and owner of crude oil in the Niger Delta support Fulani to keep one Nigeria. When IPOB heightened the talk about Biafra and UN Referendum in Nigeria, Oyibo quickly placed a Fulani Alhaja as Deputy Secretary General of the UN. So when Fulani says it owns Nigeria, who can doubt Fulani?
|
Mikecold:Why Arewa accusations that security forces are complicit in the attacks against Fulani in the SW? PMB assigned heads of nearly all security outfits of Nigeria to Arewa people. |
