Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Let Me Sell You! by Ndawe(f): 2:40pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
Hi, what email address should the CV for editing be sent to? Thanks Timossa: I'm no CV expert but I know how to sell. I have a few years of experience in personal branding, so I know a few things that get people's attention. I'm willing to edit your CV and email it back to you, with the option of also being a referee to you, at almost no cost. The only condition I have is that you subsequently upload your CV to Glassdoor and some other recruitment agencies, because I know they post genuine jobs regularly. Our consulting firm also recruits for organizations.
It's tough competing for a job and there are so many options for employers, but I think when a recruiter dismisses you, it shouldn't be because of your CV! That's what I think, so let's make it happen. It's up to you. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Choice Of Professional Program by Ndawe(f): 2:59pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
Relevance is relative. If you want to go into the profession (no matter your educational background), then yes, there are professional courses you can take. Check the website of ISPON (Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria), formerly NISP. Also, I think you want to know if it's anyone, no matter your course of study who can be an HSE professional and the answer is YES. I hope this helps. |

Honestly. I recently discovered that their site had vacancies advertised and I've applied to virtually all of them in my field and since that day, my phone's been buzzing with their criminal messages. Nearly all the vacancies posted there aren't from genuine people. These GNLD folks are stepping up their game |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: ... by Ndawe(f): 3:12pm On Feb 05, 2016 |
My dear, why should you thank him? You earned the money fair and square, the terms of your employment must definitely state that you're to be paid monthly, you shouldn't thank him for doing what's expected of him. I would have advised that you follow HR protocol and report grievances but seeing as it's the MD that's involved, it may not see the light of day. Since you "used" to have a good working relationship with your boss, I suggest you approach him(DO NOT BE CONFRONTATIONAL) firmly but politely and also start actively looking for another job. Just my two cents. All the best |
