NOC1: 11 Best Quotes From PMB's Address To His New Ministers
After five months without ministers, President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, November 11, inaugurated 36 ministers who were recently screened and cleared by the Senate.
The 36 ministers took their oaths of office in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, after which they were given their portfolios.
The president in his address charged his ministers to get to work immediately and justify their inclusion in his cabinet.
Below are some of President Buhari’s quotes from the inauguration:
1. “Cabinet Ministers must proceed to work speedily to fulfill the confidence reposed in them.”
2. “We are determined to diversify the economy through Agriculture and explore solid mineral as a revenue earner.”
3. “Our new ministers must proceed to work speedily and justify their inclusion.”
4. “To be mindful of the need for a Cabinet that will deliver a better, prosperous nation and respected for the right reasons.”
5. “We are determined to diversify the economy with agriculture to achieve self sufficiency.”
6. “We are optimistic that bringing these set of ministers is a step in the right direction.”
7. “To put round pegs in round holes where being sensitive to the diversity of the Nation.”
8. “Our commitment to defeat Boko Haram and all the nuisance it constitutes is as strong as ever.”
9. “Government business is now being conducted with transparency and sincerity.”
10. “This is another milestone in my administration.”
11. “I have also made possible of the need not to repeat such mistakes of the past while the right people are allocated to the wrong portfolio.”
https://www.naij.com/634251-check-eleven-best-quotes-pmbs-address-new-ministers.html Too much rigmarole! Meanwhile, is Fashola a round peg in a round hole? Recall that Fashola's defence for the BIG website contract scam under his watchful eyes, is that he is not trained in issues of computer and website design, but trained only as a lawyer. If an ordinary website of N30k to N500k was unwieldy for Fashola to manage, hoe much more a project as serious as POWER? Are we joking here? |

dongodfrey: I think is high time we Nigerians put sentiments apart and for once appreciates what PMB has done Fash is the best person for the work bro even before now those are the offices most Nigerians has being clamoring he gets so what's your problem? Fashola in his defence and an attempt to absolve himself of the fraud perpetrated under his watch in the N70 million website contract scam did say that he is only grounded in issues of law and not website design. If Fashola could admit blatant ignorance in an issue as ordinary as a website, how much more power? I remember the first mistake OBJ made was to appoint Bola Ige (lawyer) the minister for Power, and he failed woefully. Isn't this appointment another great mistake? An electrical or mechanical engineer would have been a good one. |

Absolutely non. Even the traders can speak some level of English or at least pidgin. Even if they can't speak it at least they hear it.
Now take a trip down to the other parts of the country and assess for yourself using all the parameters I mentioned above.
Then come back and thank me later for this enlightenment. There are certain comments you shouldn't respond to. Have you bothered to think about why a mad man is the first to call a same person mad? Why is cut-off mark for Federal Unity Schools in the SE and SS 139/140, while that for the North is between ZERO an 10? Do not glorify ignorance with a response. There is a little confusion here concerning what they mean by "X".
However, if "X" is the angle between the two polygons, then...
Simply use INTERIOR (or EXTERIOR) ANGLES OF A REGULAR POLYGON formula.
Sum of Interior Angles = (n-2) × 180°
Each Angle (of a Regular Polygon) = (n-2) × 180° / n
Then, we have a polygon with 12 sides...
Each INTERIOR angle = (12-2) x 180/12
INT angle = 10 x 180/12
= 1800/12 = 150'
Each of the two adjoining INT angles of the 12-sided polygons = 150'
Therefore, the total angles = 150' x 2 = 300'
A circle = 360'
Therefore to find the inclined angle X,
360' - 300' = 60'
Ans = 60' |

Mynd44: This is the same thing President Jonathan did close to the Ekiti and Osun elections. The cut down the allowance of the states and also held some of the money due to them hence they could not pay their workers or allow the government function properly.
It was even alleged that Governor Aregbesola has to take soft loans from Lagos and Rivers to offset worker's salary when the elections came close can Rivers or Akwa Ibom loan Kogi some cash? I can't say
Governor Idris Wada is going into an election in 21 days while owing workers between 2-8 months salaries. This means there are a lot of people who are angry at him and will possibly not vote for him because of that hence he is boxed in.
This is an unfortunate type of politics we are playing in Nigeria as the workers are the ones that suffer for it but then again, the question has to be asked that why has Kogi not been able to find other ways to finance the state?
Audu might look like the underdogs in the November 21st elections but no. Governor Idris Wada is really the underdog. If this is exactly what Jonathan did, then, WHERE IS THE CHANGED NIGERIANS BOUGHT? Are you telling us that Change amounts to nothing but noise and deceit? Today, armed robbery, kidnapping, ritual killing, agberoism have all resurfaced in Lagos, which was never so during the time of Jonathan. It was in 2000 and 2006 (OBJ/Tinubu era) that we saw something close to this. And someone is chanting and dancing change, change!!! Shame on a change that offers Nigerians nothing! |

At least for six years, we never had fuel scarcity (Ask any body who drives long distance to SE or SS durirng Xmas and other periods) until February, 2015 elections period, when Tinubu (a major fuel importer) decided to strike with other importers (majority APC) with sabotage. Today, 7 months down the lane, we do not have fuel. So sad! |

I guess you want Ambode to start patrolling the state roads. It's not about Ember months. We have had countless Ember months in Lagos on the last eight to ten years. Why I this one becoming an issue? LASTMA has downed tools; robbers have overrun Lagos with Street and bank robberies; rapists everywhere in Lagos and SW; kidnappers have been unleashing terror to Lagosians (something that's very new); roads are deplorable!!! During the Lekki Bank robbery, Fashola said it was Jonathan that caused it. Since after May 29th, there has been over six bank robberies in Lagos alone. Truly, CHANGE changes everything! Let us give PMB a chance to put the country back on the right track. What we are facing now was done be GEJ and co. believe it or not.
BTW, when will the international guys start returning our loot? You cannot give you do not have. A secondary school dropout/illiterate will always behave and lead as such. Nothing specular can come out of him. All over, Nigeria is going down: from job losses, to death (over 5,000 through "ragtag" Boko Haram in less than six months; record 222 in Saudi Arabia), Fulani cattle rustlers bastards, to over N1.5 trillion loss in the capital market, to sports, to increased armed robbery all over including Lagos, the economy generally. |
