kikice:
@All,
Since this reunion is a Lagos Thing.

Have fun guys. But why untouchable T-shirts huh Why not BBA2 Nairalanders?
We talked about this the first time and somebody felt we would be infringing on Seun Osewa's Constitution/Right as he is the sole owner of NAIRALAND.

We came up with the "Untouchable's " T-Shirt because it is synonymous with BBA, before somebody pops up from nowhere to tell me that i have contravened Section --------- subsection ------------ wink

If u are out of Lagos and u are interested, please you are welcome, but if u cannot make it we will keep u guys posted. Maybe show u pix tongue

uchetobi:
my real fear about d reunion is that boys / men will start chasing up and down the forum once they see my pretty face,
wow!!! so we got some pretty faces in da house.
1. Tampico
2. Uchetobi
That really cool!!!  grin cool
Uchetobi, no excuses you must attend unless u will be tagged "Chicken George Uchetobi"  grin

@LC
Honey, i thought you were going to suggest a date, but since you didn't i will still suggest

Date: 17th or 18th November (A week after the show) Could be Saturday or Sunday (or 24/25 - Last Sat/Sun of the month) depending on the suggestions here.
Venue: It seems that some of us that reside in Lagos are more on the mainland axis, Well then its got to be a cool spot on the G.R.A (That area is really cool) compared to Opebi/Allen where the traffic is always heavy. We have Barcelos (An eatery) or Sweet Sensation (That place is quite big) or some other place around there.
Time: i think 1pm is O.K be it Saturday or Sunday. What do u guys think.

The "Untouchables" T-shirt is O.K for quick identification but how do we get it circulated before the agreed date? Or better still, we get somebody that would agree to get there first and drop a phone number with all of us so that when we get to the agreed venue, we just dial the Number to get further directions to where the others would be gathering.

Refreshment: LC is going to be hosting us on that day with light refreshment   smiley(abi wetin una think)
Compere: Definitely would be the in house Clown "SPORA" since his better half is in PortHarcourt busy kidnapping/Mennapping/Ladynapping  grin

With all these in place we are as good as gearing up for the "Grand Occasion".)

More suggestions Plsssssssssssssssss.

TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 8:32am On Nov 07, 2007

Happy B-day in advance, but you still have not made your suggestion on the thread reunion.

@Tommyex
Whats up! Your suggestion on the thread reunion would be appreciated.

lawyerchap:
Hope we won't be bored to death as even the siamese-twins-joined-at-the-lips act has worn very thin.
In any case, keep voting for homegirl y'all.
My Dear i really feel you on that.

The children from "Nkosi's Haven" would be visiting the Housemates today and i do hope Richiana put their differences aside to give the children a wonderful treat.

Goodafternoon all  smiley

@Salsera
I still dey ooooo by the grace of God and with the encouragement of My Dear LC.
About the reunion thing, i have called for suggestions from interested posters but got a few, well on the date, my "Dear" disagreed with me on that and he is yet to suggest a suitable date for the "Grand Occasion" which i am anxiously looking forward to and thanks too to Oluwanisol for remembering to add that unfortunate "Y" if not my dear for don vex call off the reunion. grin grin

@Tampico
Girlfriend whats up? I never hear see your comment on thread reunion oooooo! Wetin dey shele?

@Spora

@Makin
Where the hell are u? You are really missing in action Buddy.

@adechuks
Yeah! i know this clown does not reside in Lagos but all the same your moral support would be appreciated.

@Uchetobi

Dalby:
Just thinking aloud, does the absence of fight in a relationship show that there is love huh

People that have been married for say 20 years and above say that the most turbulent period is the first 5 years. Why should that be so, after all the people in the marriage don't change huh SO huh
Bringing 2 minds from diverse backgrounds / cultures together to live under one roof is hard enough, not to talk of in a relationship. It will take sometime for them to really understand the excesses and deficiencies of each other (That is the only way they can compliment each other).
A relationship and marriage are 2 totally different things.

For R and T, they met in the house, and have been forced to live with each other in the house.
Dalby mark my words, i never said "the absence of fight in a relationship shows that there is love"
Richiana are two different persons that have because of their isolation taken solace in each other and mistook it for love. Love is a very strong word that should never be mistaken or confused with lust. When immaturity sets in a relationship you have what is called "One fight too many" never moving forward, the same problem reoccuring unresolved. When couples look for the flimsiest excuse to have a fight, you start doubting that love. Love conquers all because love can tolerate. But no be say dem no go fight ooo i hope u get my point wink
TV/MoviesRe: Celebrity Takes Two: New Dance Reality Show (Sponsor: Skyebank) by Ndi(f): 3:21pm On Nov 05, 2007
Sound Sultan was simply outstanding!!!!!!!!!!! you would hardly tell who the the sudent/instructor was. He is my favourite to clinch the prize because every week he come on stronger simply out of reach by his co-contestants.

Omowunmi too did well, i think she got a wake up call from the judges last week and yesterday she was superb!! The Opening and the shake, shake move got me going i really felt her presence. For somebody that did Dancing as her talent show during the MBGN contest i had expected more from day 1.

Brian too was okay, with his height, i had expected him to top the chart but he is still cool. (These are my Top 3)
For others;

Zizi - I did not feel her at all yesterday, she is been doing fine all these while. Whatever happened? sad
Pasuma - Dont just go there!!!!!!! Did he think Cha Cha was another Akpala grin
Kunle - He was just picking/counting steps dhe did not do Cha Cha. But he tried.
Omotola - One of my favourite actresses and all that but Girlfriend is not taking this dance thing serious because she laughs at every mistake she makes. I do not really like that kind of attitude from her. (Who says dancing is for only slim people) huh I have seen fat people dance. Its all about intrest and determination.
Tara - Her Carriage was not convincing but she tried her best, i could see the determination in her.
Funlola - She Dances with too much seriousness that made her body stiff all through her performance, she needs to loosen up a little, but she is good.
Nomoreloss - He has been trying so far but his Cha-Cha was average, he gave in all he could though. undecided
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 2:53pm On Nov 05, 2007
Reality finally dawned on Richiana when they got calls from home. What was really surprising was that the fools actually expected to hear their loved ones are still there waiting anxiously for them. tongue

How on earth could Richard even ask after his wife and Tatiana her boyfriend? Did they at anytime tell these person(s) that they would involve themselves in Porn (Soft or Hard) to win the cash prize? It goes further to show how fake they have been in the house, if they really love themselves as they have constantly deceived the viewers they would not have the mind to ask about people they have betrayed. Infact the first thing that should be on Richard’s mind is “DIVORCE” and Tatiana the Tart “Break up” with her Boyfriend ready to hook up with Richard after the BBA2, but no they want to eat their cake and have it. angry

Isolation can make us do a lot of things but not as far as Richiana have gone, my God what have they not done!!!! I pity them because from what I have seen so far they are not in “LOVE” they don’t even know the first thing about love, always looking for the flimsiest excuse to have a fight, they cannot even tolerate themselves. undecided

If they hook up after the show, they won’t last.!!!!!!!!

Ofunneka seems to be more of viewer’s favourite despite what went down, I pray she wins the cash prize because at these rate anything can happen.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 2:49pm On Nov 05, 2007
Are we still on this issue? angry Guys please lets move on because if we continue to dissect what happened on 27th October 2007 we would be stagnant and it would make this thread really boring, but before I conclude let me point out that.

• People watch T.V and they see differently.
• So far different report/view about what happened on that faithful day.
• Biggy is to blame (For giving them a task that involves alcohol.)
• Richard took advantage of drunken ladies.
• If Biggy had not showed what transpired, DSTV owners would have gone to Mnet Offices asking for a refund.
• Showed us the garden when the whole episode was “about to degenerate” or “degenerated” depending on the individual opinion.
• After all said and done people still want to watch the uncut version and yet the whole situation really disgust.

Conclusion.
If Richard had done the “Indecent act” with only Tatiana, nobody would raise an eyebrow they would simply call it “Entertainment” but because it involved our Homegirl that has represented Nigerians & African women in all ramifications and has never for once deviated since the show started has become a controversial topic especially here on this forum.

What if Richard had penetrated with his "Private" before Biggy intervened all in the name of Reality show, I am sure we would all be singing different tunes here. Please lets forge ahead, I would as much as everyone that got irritated with what happened close this chapter.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 2:45pm On Nov 02, 2007
@Orikinla

Pleas give it a rest!!!!
We have all acknowledged the fact that what happened on Saturday was appalling and we are also not here to judge but we pray it does not re-occur in subsequent episodes.

I do not think you have any moral justification to start judging or insulting Nigerian Girls, Nobody does!!!!!  angry angry angry
We all watch the Big Brother Reality Show for different reasons;
For some its either the Shower Hour, the task, the Nomination/Eviction or the diary room section, some even wait till late to see if there could be any sex in the house (under the blanket) Whatever you want to see in the Reality show depends on you. Some would even criticise the show fervently but are still ardent viewers of the show.  huh

I Still thank God that BB had the decency to send in Paramedics/bouncers when they did, it shows they have the interest of the Housemates at heart and for BB to show the viewers the garden when the scene was about to degenerate, it was wishful thinking on their part and also for the Housemates as they were very unconscious, now if they were conscious, do you think BB would show us the garden when they did. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They would gladly show us the entire sordid situation. embarassed

Frankly speaking posting I do not need reply to this but for you to know that Ofunneka is still the best HM to win the Cash Prize and Please Its spelt OFUNNEKA and not OFUNEKA (You could get sued for that you know.  angry

If you do not like The Big Brother Reality Show and you sincerely own a decoder gladly tune to Trinity Broadcast Station and if this forum disgust you, thank God for Seun's good sense to create a Religion angle where you could share your "highly Chineked" views. They would gladly welcome whatever "Brother Orikinla's" got to say.

its a pity this is happening to Ofumama, I suspects that the drinks where laced with something, because I am sure she wouldn't have acted that way.
I had this particular discussion with my colleagues at the office yesterday some said something was added to the drink to make them act that way and the prime target was Ofunneka ! well i don't want to believe that Biggy could go that extra mile.

I am not judging anybody, but upset at what happened in the house on Saturday. If there were anyone to blame really, it would be Biggy!! angry

We are all human beings, we know that what happens when you are locked up in a house for 83days or more especially with people from different countries not to talk of one's own country.

It was a big mistake for Biggy to Indulge the housemates in Alcohol, we all know what it can do to one's mental wellbeing! little wonder the born-again desist from it.All these while the guzzle had been flowing in the house Ofunneka has always kept it on check. Locking people of different sexes/background in what seems like forever alone could degenerate to something else, Lets not revisit Maureen's case. Not to talk of when alcohol is introduced as part of a task, mennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!! that was crazy ! What had Biggy expected? Thank God he had the good mind to send in the bouncers when he did because right now i really feel ashamed, i couldn't even bring myself to watch my favourite Homegirl afterwards. embarassed

Yeah!! people adults have sex everyday even under the influence, but not on African Reality T.V, a show that is supposed to portray the good African Heritage. Not the western values now. The votes that Ofunneka had received so far is not for pornography though most people have complained that she is not entertaining but because she has kept it real like the African Woman she is and i pray seriously that it does not ruin her chances of winning.

"Variety they say is the spice of life". Now imagine a house full of Richiana!!!! in the name of entertainment! Boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Richard has always been my Dawg! but right now he is just a Dag Dog. Whatever he claims he is feeling for Tatiana is definitely not Love. LOVE can never be a hydra headed Monster.

From my own perspective, Richard was not drunk to stupor, he was concious of what he was doing Yuckkkkkkk!!!!!! each time i remember that sad episode i feel like throwing up. Ofunneka and Tatiana could not vividly recall what happened, now i wonder if a video of Saturday's episode were showed to Ofunneka how she would feel and i also think Biggy lost it too for asking if they felt like seeing a shrink when they do not even know what happened to them!!!! Goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I Seriously wish this does not repeat itself in the subsequent episodes of Big Brother !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That it does not in any way affect Ofunneka when she leaves the house. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amongst the 3 - Ofunneka is still the best HM to win the cash.

Now that i have let it out, I feel a bit relieved.

Sweetie, How re u doing?
Since Yesterday i have been taking Wrigley's Orbit Spearmint Chewing Gum even Right now i still have it in my mouth to see if it can actually wipe out the sour taste Saturday's episode left me with cos my dear i am really speechless for now! Maybe by the time i take another dose and read soothing post from u and others i might feel better but for now i cannot really say much.

But i still love all of you.

By the way Tampico good to have u back!
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 6:07pm On Oct 26, 2007
@Flintstone

Please stop copying and pasting whatever you copy from the net, they are all Jargons, i didn't even bother to read it cos Nigeria no matter how many times we vote, we can only count as 1, so the 12 countries participating and the others combined would count as 1 each making 13.

If these were to be a strategy which is not, Biggie would have deleted it long before the original poster posted it. So Please do not mislead People on this thread cos Ofunneka is going to be among the Big 3.

Register in the forum if u like, that is what BB wants. But the SMS stuff is what is got the highest ratio.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 5:58pm On Oct 26, 2007
@Uchetobi
You are welcome!

Richard proved himself in the Task given by Biggie, i must confess he was the man of the show, i really did enjoy him & Ofunneka also did well coordinating the girls in Karate. This is really between Ofunneka & Richard. Tatiana is just the icing on the cake like LC posted earlier she has collected her gift (Plasma Screen) so no 100,000 bucks for her. Where is Maureen oooooo! she has been evicted. grin grin
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 3:51pm On Oct 26, 2007
A "sneaky" visit to the BBA website reveals that a "Ugandan" (Africa's Michael Jackson) would be performing live on Sunday for the next evictee Maureen and also the posts on the BBA forum already concluded on who he would be going home with "Maureen". So guys you can really see that comments on the forum have really taken a twist in turn.

These are what the votes looks like on BBA Website;

Richard - 33.3%
Ofunneka - 37.1%
Maureen - 22.8% (Sympathy Votes)
Tatiana - 6.8% (The Model) grin

@Salsera
Whether the reunion party holds or not members that want to meet themselves would still do so, but its like we have a tie here for and against the party. hmmmmmm. But Majority would carry the vote eventually that is why we need the suggestions to come in.

@Tampico
It is very clear that you have quit posting here, well i give up!!! Goodluck on any thread you feel you would resume posting on Nairaland. It was really nice relating with you here. Ari-va-de-cci Baby!!!

BUT, experience has shown that people are better thought of when you do not meet them. It would be disastrous for some to discover that Tampico is a 54yr old House of Rep member after all. And she has actually been impeached from nairaland. GOD forbid

I am pleading on behalf of my sweetheart and all members please come back (even if you are b-u-s-y) We need to know we are forgiven, Haba! even with the music to mellow you down huh (Now where are those post(s) that leaves me excited?)

@LC
Honey, i am just cool!!  cool

Yes! the Thread Reunion Party!!!!!
I thought of posting something on that today but i felt it was too early so i decided to leave it for a later date but now that it has come up again, I can't wait to see all your faces!!! (Did i just post that?).

We have to agree on the following;

Venue:
Time:
Date:
And the person that is going to host all, i mean to have something like "Light Refreshment".  grin

On that day, are we all going to be carrying Placards with our username(s) boldly written on it so as to identify ourselves?. I think Seun should be notified about this arrangement (He has to come all the way fro Abeokuta!!!) and probably make him our host. grin

My suggestions to the above questions would be;

Venue: I can't really tell if majority of us stay on the Island/Mainland (Lagos or other States/Country)
Time: 2pm Prompt.
Date: 17th or 18th November 2007
Day: Saturday or Sunday.

Your Suggestions please while we still focus on the topic of discussion.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Ndi(f): 12:18pm On Oct 25, 2007
Since the BBA show started, Ofunneka has exhibited rare maturity and decency and I do not think Biggy is going to overlook that. She may be the other side of "beauty" as she is often referred to on BBA Website but really beauty goes beyond that.

They also refer to her as a maid, Cherise (BBA1) copy cat but I know too that somebody that does not have strong desire for clean environment would not clean from day one till date.

I mentioned earlier that Biggie reserves the right to give one of the final 3 the cash prize and on the Board of Big Brother (If there is anything like that) they put a lot of things into consideration; the votes may likely take the highest ratio.

My intuition tells me that a BBA's representative would not be Richard or Tatiana as they disqualified themselves the day they started their adulterous relationship. The reason they are still in the game is because they bring entertainment to some set of viewers, Viewers too are still keeping them there because they may end up “Bumping” who knows. huh

Richard seem to be a fun loving person and I have always liked his person, it is a pity he had to let his feeling of lust take the better part of him and probably ruin his chances of winning.

Ofunneka has always being the one that is not a couple and she is not envious of those that are or withdraw from them or even longing for someone to pity her, instead she has always been there for others even when there is a rift among the so called couples, now if the Spatula had been the one without a partner like Ofunneka from day one, she would simply have been deranged. Just a few days after Code’s exit and she is already a nutcase. (The Leech). angry

Please let us assist Maureen & Biggy by voting her out this Sunday; I do not think Biggy would want to keep her a moment longer in the house. Whatever is being posted on the BBA website should not deter anyone as only the fretful viewers have been posting negative comments to console themselves.

I see a winner in Ofunneka. (Unless there is mago mago) undecided
