@ George D, I sent you a text concerning rs232 cable.

I've been checking on nairaland front page for this news since yesterday, maybe the election fever has made it uninteresting, but its a welcome developmet, next in line?

Oshiomole must have siphoned some money again!!

Sometin is really wrong,

God don dey expose him Nyash!![/color]

Really? Have you been there? I mean Edo state, if you have not please modify your post.

I don't see anything bad in his sacking them, according to the sacked commissioner of information Anslem Ojezuwa on ITV benin, they failed to deliver, the voters in that area voiced their displeasure on the level of development in that area, which means those in government are not doing enough to  sell the program of the government to the people, the governor has prioritized the development of the state, and its expected that these special assistants and commissioner would sensitize the electorates in their areas for the need to vote ACN.

@ George: from the back of the decoder, which of the pins on the Rs232 port is pin 1, 2, 3 and so on? Is it the same with the one on the back of the pc? Another question, is it only pins 1 to 5 that is useful? Is it necessary to connect the other pins? I'm asking all these because i want to make one, i could not get one to buy here in Sapele, but if you know any place in warri or effrun please let me know.

[quote author=George_D link=topic=419526.msg8049864#msg8049864 date=1301926908]nearest,
your decoder firmware is most probably corrupted.i hope you didn't upgrade it of recent?remember what i said above.we should all try to avoid unnecessary upgrades just for the sake of it.
for solution try and do a factory reset.if it doesn't work re-install the original strong firmware.if all these fail take it to a repairer to have a look at it.[/quote]the upgrade I did on it was when i bought it, and it was because of infinity sound, but the issue now [maybe i didn't explain properly] is that it does not power on, once the power button on the back of the decoder is switched on, the display starts blinking, i just want to get an idea of what is wrong with it before i take it to a technician, i don't want them to dismantel it unnecessarily. But if you still think re-installing the old firmware will work i'll need your help.

Help! My decoder strong 4669 is behaving funny, when i switched it on yesterday the two red indicator lights in front and the station number display just kept on blinking , Any idea for personal solution will be appreciated.

Everybody don forget when Osaze dey give im all to the national team when other fools dey form big boy for their papa (mikel & co),  Pls make una just free osaze, cos he can get away with whatever now, thats d reward for his previous committment and 100% efforts towards d eagles,  That guy don try, this issue must've pained him, i mean he's still trying to settle in his club and make small impact b4 he leaves cos truthfully, time isn't on his side at 29yrs,  He is one of d few "super" eagles we have. He shouldn't be forced to play wiv pain-killers for ordinary friendly and risk aggravating his injury,  If u guys dont grab d workings of soccer, dont be quick to condemn,  Osaze, we understand, we love u!

without the super eagles who would have known Osaze? Before the super eagles, he was playing for Bendel insurance of Benin, i'll want to say i disagree with you on the point that he was very committed to the super eagles, he was doing his job my dear, just like every other nigerian!

He was high on something, or why would he say that? This shows we definately need true professional players in the national team, players who will do the talking on the pitch not on twitter.

After reading all comments here, i can't help but laugh, i'm imagining a debate like this for all delta central senatorial district candidates, the candidates plans for the people will be as follows, 1.Amori [PDP] i'll give every village a king. 2. Sen. Eferakeya [ACN] I'll buy motorcycle for all Urhobo youth, and when they die from accident i'll not charge them for using my mortuary. 3. Rt. Hon. Ewerido [DPP] trust me, i'll do what others haven't done before. {only God knows what that means} 4. Chief Obule [JP] I have no idea of what i want, i just need a place to get busy. 5. Mrs. Ogbon-Day [ANPP] 35% affirmative action, i'm the only woman in the race, vote for me. God will help us in this country.

Don't be surprised that in a decade or so, this same man will contest for president in this country and possibly win. As much as i detest these looters who have crippled this economy, i know most of his travails are master minded by his political opponents. Before the numerous reetards on this forum misquote what i just said out of context, let it be known that i know he's a thief and i detest him but ask yourself. . .what about other people who have stolen 10,000 times more than him? They are driving around freely both in Nigeria and abroad where the government is aware that they money they are lavishing on £10 million pound homes and buying Lamborghini's for their children to drive to campus are all stolen wealth from Nigeria? How come it's only the accounts of a few that are frozen and the rest are living in comfortable retirement? What Obasanjo stole from PHCN alone is like comparing a 600 floor skyscraper to a mud hut in terms of Ibori! How many can i mention? $16 billion from PHCN, $8 million from Saigem ID card scam, over $200 million to revamp 4 refineries that aren't working till date, $350 million wired to a Chinese account 2 days before he vacated office, Converting federal property (Ota farms a.k.a OFN a.k.a OPERATION FEED THE NATION) to his personal property. . .the list is endless. This same man remains prominent in destroying running the affairs of this country and no one can say anything. Na Ibori wey steal peanuts everybody know. Once again for the dullards on this forum, i am not i support of this man. I'm just amazed at the level of hypocrisy going on. It's like an armed robber referring to a pickpocket as a criminal.

I share your views on the point of other criminals running free in the country, but what can we do? PDP controls everything, they decide who should be charged and who shouldn't, why didn't the EFCC arrest Uduaghan before the 'rererun' ? They said there's no concrete evidence, what could be more concrete than the Asaba airport project? Uduaghan said on DRTV that 'all over the world, it takes an average of seven years to build an airport:-):-) ONLY GOD WILL SAVE NIGERIA.

And what flames are you planning to fan now.

None, don't need to do that, jonathan's action will, and that's if there are flames to fan.

I'm waiting for it to happen, we need something so spark up that thing we all expect to happen soon.

Somebody please tell the AIT commentator to stop shouting!

Hehehe, any new channel on infinity?

This people know what they are doing, the PDP chairman has no control over the party, so removing him makes no difference to the party, this removal will only affect atiku if and when the motion is heard and his waiver is deemed null and void, and the party has already elected atiku has their flag bearer.

results are now being read on NTA

@duality, five percent is alot, the LGA has alot of PDP bigwigs, ODEBALA, IGBUYA, AKPEKI, EJELE, EBOSA, OKIAPELE, etc, ,they did not succeed because they were resisted in most areas,PDP in 1999 won even in the ward of ANPP candidate  MOSIS KRAGAR, they also won in senator brume's constituency, a man who provided electricity for his people, in all these areas of UDU LGA the people never voted PDP, so PDP has perfected the act of rigging that even if they don't rig no body believes it.
