Politics › Re: Tinubu Seeks Senate Approval To Borrow $6 Billion by nedekid: 5:56pm On Mar 31
Lithiumite:
There is no way you can run govt without borrowing.....60% of the revenu you make is going into debt service, you are only left with 40% in that you have to fund your recurrent and capital obligations.....whats left? It's only by borrowing you can balance up your deficit.....govt has said you need to start paying taxes you cried that no you aren't paying..... how the hell do you think govt will get money to run the country.
Oga go and study how two governors were able to run their states without piling debt, neither did they increase taxes infact one of them reduced taxes and that is Ambode of Lagos. Yes he cut out revenue generation from outfits such as latma, vio etc. He is on record as the only governor that did not add a penny to the debt profile of Lagos, yet he did more infrastructure and services than all the other 3 combined.
Peter Obi is also a governor on record that met a state in debt, cut expenses, spent on only essentials, moved the books from red to green, then started building savings to be used for capital projects, but to be spent in a sustainable way, but ofcourse after his 8 years, his successor, the usual naija politician comes in, sees the savings and blows it in airport of which half the money evaporated. Today the state is back to square 1, in debt, and more debt accumulating.
Oga give two people 1m, come back in 4 years, one will be in heavy debt, owning millions, the second one on the other hand will have turned his 1m to 10m and even building a house.
Everything in this life is financial skills. Give Oga at the top 6b he is asking for, once that one finishes he will ask for another 12b. Person weh never manage proper business for him life? That does not know what it means to has N1000 today and make it N1500 tomorrow? That is the problem we have in this country! Some charlatan rigs his way to become local gov chairman, someone that has not handled 10m before then sees 2b allocation monthly, the first thing is to go and buy 2 land cruiser bullet proof for 500m each, then buy hilux as escort. Haba we know of one Oga that bought airliner as presidential jet, meanwhile his country does not own a national carrier! Is that country one you should take serious? The son is blowing billions and you guys are hailing him city boy, where did he get the money from, yet the solution is to borrow more or in your suggestion raise taxes to fund their jamboree.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Seeks Senate Approval To Borrow $6 Billion by nedekid: 5:34pm On Mar 31
Onigbese.
When you carry a whole piggyback of a country to give crooks this is what you get, the money is never enough, they cannot manage resources, but must continue to borrow more to fill their bellies.
Lgos despite all its advantages and riches was immersed in debt, only Ambode did not add yet did more capital projects. All these others know is to pile debt, they cannot cut expenses. Now it has lined to federal level. By the time theses charlatans leave the igbese children unborn will be paying will be extensive.

This lady is a born criminal, Haba!
Guys this is the irony of naija, people of such characters are those that get into political office. Imagine that tomorrow this lady is made governor, local government chairman, nddc Oga, cbn governor etc then you expect the country to move forward? Tomorrow she will join apc, be a city boy and become minister. Lol

“It has not been easy these last few weeks (for the victims). I just want to tell you that they have embarked on mass deportation of all the detainees. 13 people were deported on Monday and 18 of them left early this Thursday morning,” Nwafor said.

Nwafor did not bother to tell what kind of traders are they..
"Diaspora Tales had reported that 42 Nigerian traders were arrested on February 28 by the Mozambican authorities at a spare parts market in Maputo, the capital of the country"

This not what we wish
We the proud sons and daughters of KWARA state, challenge the governor to find solutions to this barbaric turn of events
Or
Leave office in two weeks
We are not noon for this kind of worthless life

We want peace and harmony to continue as we use to be
The governor is not in charge of the army or other security agencies, the buck stops at the table of mr president which it seems you are reluctant to call out.
Anyway, are you sure it is insecurity that chased those Nigerians from their village? It could be they went to the city to join the city boys. Abi do you expect city boys to stay in village while standing on a bola mandate?

SIGMATRON:
What an irony.

Your brother was a Governor at Ekiti and did not build a hospital, your family shared the money, now you are a crying slowpoke.
You have any evidence to that, or you are just making the usual beer palor talk.
Did you even watch the video to know that he is in Australia where he went to visit his wife? Abi was his brother Governor in Australia to build hospital in that country for Isaac's white Australian wife?
Health › Re: Isaac Fayose Reveals His Wife Has Cancer In Australia, Breaks Down In Tears by nedekid: 6:59am On Mar 30
Ajsmart:
This is why the citizens have been clamouring for you politicians to build top class hospitals in your own country as it will save lots of money and prevent unnecessary long journey to foreign countries just to get treatment. Sometimes you politicians need to feel the pain of the masses before you understand the plight of the citizens you lot supposedly work for. Hopefully your wife recovers and you learn to prioritise the welfare and health of the common man.
Is he a politician?

u see where u no get sense, ur trying to teach me what u don't hv knowledge off, first their are many Hummer bus in the market, to an ordinary eyes it's all the same but, that's help the truth, this is not Japan Hummer bus, this type of bus is mainly from south Africa Toyota and Nigerian Toyota built for African market, they are more rugged than Japan and they come into Nigeria as brand new used by the government and big companies, we buy from companies and govt agencies or their middle man, they still have all the glory of tokunbo can have and still serve you. If you get from Japan you need to convert it to Nigerian hand drive, it always don't hv life span of these ones that's why transportation companies prefers my type than Japan, their are still many or ones like Chinese Hummer bus that uses 3RZ while South Africa and naija uses 2TR engine the same found in Hilux, don't try to teach what you don't know next time.
Oga I have been buying Hummer buses when you were still sucking breast, as I write I currently own 10 from brand new to Japan cut I have owned over the years along with coaster buses. Infact I am in the process of buying 1 brand new hiace, 2 Japan cut, 2 suzuki korope and 1 coaster.
Nothing you want to tell me about those buses. Anyway best of luck seeing who will pay 30m for your bus assuming it is not content you are creating.

For where ? My cousin's full that country, uncles too, some even went there through school way.

Not even a 3 rooms they have built ever since they migrated to the UK years ago.

Stinginess on their side is on another level entirely. They always complaining, scared of spending money.

Make all the money there, spend all the money there too.

They never had extra to spend on anything else aside UK taxes.

Uchenna who traveled to the USA barely 3 years, working as a security guard in a MALL in California have already finished his Duplex. And UK guys have spent 10-20 years nothing to show for

Just live a good life in UK that's all, fresh skin, eating good foods, nice environment that's all.

Money ❌✖️
Seems you have a valid point. People that go to the US show more result than those that go to UK.

Everything na Tinubu, even if you give your wife belle, you will still blame Tinubu. I am expecting Peter Obi to blame Tinubu for this.
Who we go blame again if not Tinubu? Abi you still have not realized the damage him and his apc brought to naija that have brought about the biggest migration in history of naija people to the UK? Who should we blame when from 250 naira to £1 it is now 2000?
You eat KFC of £20 it is 40k! You buy shirt of £50 and it is 100k, Haba.

£1/1895. Take note of the rate if you are applying. You are free to always ask & for others too.
It actually cost N1,020,000 for the 2 years visa, seems the banks take some charges. This is before the current increase in fees.

You think US is Iran.
If u people only knew what big a deal is made of any US soldier that dies. The body is personally welcomed with a salute by the president, hometown newspapers publish lengthy biographies of them, streets are named after them, and it's an honour to their families forever. See below
The president should be ready for salute on a daily basis, home towns should be prepared to publish plenty plenty biographys too. Plenty families will receive honor for dying for Israel and Epstein files cover-up.

Your father is perfectly right. The problem here is that this doctor took it too far. And the nurses that should have restrained the doctor didn't do so, probably because she has stressed them also. Be that as it may, the poor woman was in pains and didn't deserve that. All the healthcare workers there that day deserve some sort of punishment.
"Paddy" means close friend. Ie my late close doctor friend.
My late dad was a lawyer, businessman and industrialist not a medical professional.
I agree with you that no woman should face such during labour, and that is why when I was at the stage in life of having kids, I tried within my the means to use the best hospitals, where I knew my madam wount in any way be assaulted. Mumsy said then go and register her in general hospital, they are the best with plenty specialist, Omo, me I no gre.
Lets face the fact, till tomorrow in those general or local hospitals those nurses and doctors will be doing the same thing.

You certainly didn't read the story or report because it was clearly stated that the woman was successfully delivered of a baby and was bleeding from the tears when the doctor started beating her .
I did read the story, I only gave a preamble regarding the beating or seeming violence, use of Coercion. Yes, from the video it is said she had already given birth, but does that end the course of delivery?
What if she needed to be stitched immediately or bleeding had to be stopped but the woman was saying she had had enough and not complying putting her life at risk and the doctor had to be commandeering, intimidating, forcefully to save her life? Abi did you not hear him telling her to get in the table?
See, until you hear the doctor's side, his explanation of what happened, better not to jump to conclusions.

My late paddy a medical doctor in Lagos state health ministry employ back in the day said it was a regular occurrence then to beat or use force on some women. We argued that day but he tried to explain that sometimes it has to to with saving lives.
He said some women will be so lazy to push, some will be so pampered and spoiled they will be doing baby baby, meanwhile the child's head is stuck and time is a matter of life or death. He said in that situation will you be begging the woman? He said some women will be slapped and that adrenalin rush will make them push! He said to take injection nko, to get stitched some women will refuse, meanwhile life is at stake.
Have you seen women weight lifters? Before they carry weight, their coach will come from the back and give them heavy slap, the rush of adrenaline will give them power boost and they carry the weight.
I hear that in za oza room when nacking some guys will slap that ass, it will ginger the woman more, infact some will tell you slap my ass (I don't know ohh that is what I heard).
Anyway, I had my first child at saint Ives Ikeja back then, they had a nurse who's job was to hold the woman's hand and pet her, infact it was as if the nurses job is to be constantly begging the woman, set her hand for the woman to squeeze, bite, pinch etc lol. On the other hand my guys wife had theirs at crystal akowonjo road few months later. Omo after she gave birth she sent for the midwife abi nurse and landed her heavy dose of slaps, why? She said the lady dealt with her while giving birth, say na so so slap she de receive from the nurse say e remain make nurse bring koboko enter labour room, lol.
