No indigenous NGO is transparent in Nigeria. If you dig further, you will discover that all the funds expended on 'executed projects' were actually credited to the accounts of his family and friends.
What stops you from doing investigating further and then exposing the executed project funds credited to accounts of family and friends?

givedemwotowoto:
Venezuelans are celebrating the capture of Maduro but Agbadorians are crying on their behalf
Rubbish, that is what their propaganda media is feeding you. In any country you will have few dissidents, their so called jubilation is then amplified.
You think Venezuelans do not know that the US sanctions, blockade, theft of its sovereign wealth, piracy of its shipping intentionally done to collapse the economy lead to the impoverishment of its people?
Hugo Chavez and Maduro had support of the majority of citizens because of their socialist and not capitalist stance ie wealth of the land for the people. What caused the problem with the US was when Hugo Chavez said the country was getting little from the American oil companies exploiting in their country and he gave them chance to renegotiate, they refused, those assets were then nationalized.
Is it not the same thing France has done in Africa for years? Eg Niger where France has been taking uranium at CFA 5m per ton for and then selling for millions, today Niger has nationalized and the same uranium they are selling to Russia for 100m per ton!
I guess your joy over the crime America has committed against that country is out of ignorance. So tomorrow if one country disagrees with the other, because you have more guns you bomb them and kidnap their president?

Lekby25:
What rubbish are you spitting out from your mouth. A country's president is a drug lord involved in what can destroy the lives of his people and you are talking of sovereignty, which sovereignty, i fully support America carrying him. What nonsense is that
If you believe the labeling of that President as a drug lord by the us then you are the most gullible person alive, you are what Edo people call ozwor. Are you a kid you do not know the antics of the US to label a dog a bad name to hang it? Idi amin was called a cannibal eating human flesh, all because he expelled colonizers exploiting his people, qadaffi was labelled a mad dog for standing for his people, for trying to unite Africans, to make African get value for their resources demanding resources is paid for in gold rather than paper (dollar), Syria nko? What of Zimbabwe, same thing the Americans are trying to do with South Africa claiming there is white genocide. Do you even know the history of Venezuela, of Hugo Chavez who demanded all American companies must renegotiate the sharing patterns for oil resources mined in the country or the companies will be nationalized. Imagine Eg shell taking oil and paying the country 10% while keeping 90? Same thing the French was doing in Niger, taking uranium at 5m cfa per ton, today Russia us buying the same uranium at 100m CFA per ton!
When the American companies refused to negotiate, Hugo Chavez kicked them out an nationallised Venezuelas state assets and resources, based on that the Americans placed sanctions on that country intentionally making it poor so that the people will revolt against their government, they seized Venezuelan stete assets in the US, they made the British seize Venezuelan gold and cash, sovereign assets saved in Britain to make the country poor, but no, the people refused. Why did they refuse? Hugo Chavez later succeeded by Maduro ran a socialist state, just as qadaffi, the money was for the people, no from of capitalism, they ran free education, free food, Healthcare etc, money paid into citizens account monthly, no taxes, free transport, petrol was cheaper than water etc. The country had money and their socialist policy was for the money to be used for the people! Do you know in Libya under qadaffi, once you reached age of 21, government gave you a brand new house for free? Your education was free to PhD level anywhere in the world fully paid by government? Where are those countries now after America and its gang of colonizers called their president bad names and killed them? All are failed states.
If America really has drug problem is it not Mexico they should be attacking?
Now what is even more dangerous, America that is exporting bombs, guns, war ship, war planes used to kill all over the world or a country supposedly exporting drugs?

Americans are not Nigeria. They value the lives of everyone in the states.

Anything, anyone that threatened the interest of the American people will have to contend with the force of the American military.

Same way the terrorist in Nigeria are working against the Interest of the American people and it allies.
Look at what a grown man like you is saying, abi are you a kid? A big country that has focus on the natural resources of a smaller country invades the sovereign territory and grabs the president and all you see here is to admire the criminality of the actions of the US. In this case what stops France from invading Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and grabbing its presidents, putting them in handcuffs, flying them out and the grabbing the wealth of the country? Do you even know that the US once almost invaded Niger delta Nigeria years ago during unrest in the middle east? They had a plan to invade, kill Nigerians and then grab the oil in the delta since it is a direct route to the US and does not have choke points.
What stops America entering Nigeria to bomb, then declare no Nigerian should enter areas where there is rear earth and minerals, that it is now their own, any Nigerian that nears there is killed? Do you even understand the precedence the US has just set? Have you considered other stronger countries will decide to do so against weaker ones?

runningriot:
This is totally outrageous and ridiculous the government will have to come into this and set a cap benchmark for house rent in Nigeria especially in big cities like Lagos and Port-harcourt. Housing shouldn't be this expensive...
Government cannot set a benchmark, after all was it not government that mismanaged the economy that brought about inflation making things expensive? It not government bringing all sorts of charges to build and maintain houses?
What government should rather do is to invest in massive construction of houses, funny thing is that when government even builds, they make it so expensive only civil servants that have stolen money can afford. Was it not fashola when he was governor was challenged on why houses his government built were so expensive, his response was that there is no cheap land in Lagos! It was when ambode(God bless him) came in he crashed the prices saying government out not to profit but rather subsidize the houses.

Fayose is just trying to leak Tinubu's ass. The money was not given from personal purse but from Disaster Fund managed by the Federal government. N50 billion was approved but N30b was released. The story behind the withheld balance is not queried.
Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu collected N100 million dollars for land allocated for Dangote.
Summary: No politician is to be trusted with money. They stole without conscience and fear of God.
Till today no accounting for that $100m, indigenes of that area said they were not aware, prominent Lagos people said the same. Where money go, we no know, if people ask, hungry people that have not eaten, neither did they taste inside the money will tell you to go and ask your own governor in the state you come from.

JOLLOFman:
Well, it has been disclosed that the money was disbursed in a current account ( No interest yields) secondly, victims and the Bodija infrastructures has been well attended to. Splashing the 30billion originally deposited in addition to 24billion already spent is unwise. Makinde is right to wait for FGs complete fund.
Bros kinde is a businessman, a big time contractor with oil companies, he is used to dealing with big money, oga no person on his level will keep 30b in a regular current account, interest is being paid openly or codedly.
Even an illiterate governor like that one in the south South will not do so not to talk of an educated, exposed, experienced businessman like kinde, it does not make sense, let's agree he was caught this time and he will not do it again, all those explanations is for kindergartens.
Imagine saying he placed it in regular current account, money that will earn 390m every month? haba!!

The whole thing is just head-scratching stuff.

How can a Governor receive N30 billion for a specific human disaster, and not mention/announce it at all to the people of the state for nearly 2 years.

The way we are governed in Nigeria is baffling.
Oga I weak, even if Fayose is acting as an ass, anywhere money de belle face, stomach infrastructure, agbaya etc, kinde nko? As VDM says, trap they set for rat cannot catch cat. Why did kinde (I thought was a better person) decide to keep quite about the money keeping it in the bank instead of using it for the purpose intended? Is it a case of they are all bad but some like kinde are less bad than the others?
The excuse that the money was not spent because they was a balance of 20b does not hold water. What type of wickedness this our politicians have for God's sake?
30b in the bank for 18 months at 10% is even low, for that amount you will easily get 18%!
Let's take 16% which is what I currently get on FD ie in this case 30b will generate N390m monthly, or N7,020,000,000 (seven billion, and twenty million) in a period of 18 months just in interest! Chisos!!!
Over $4.8m for doing nothing! Clean sweet cash. Omo no wonder these politicians will kill to enter office.

As for you, you will insist that you want the matter charged to court, Oga I assure you that that man will cough out 10 times the value of that powerbank to compensate you, pay your cost of mobilization and then settle the police big money to bail himself after you leave the matter.

Any tax law that will give government the power to take money from your account without court order is rubbish and Nigerians should resist it by all means. How will some tax man sitting in some office say your tax is so so and so amount, then give you deadline to pay or he will just take the money from your account, then it is you that has to come and explain why he should return some back to you? What rubbish! Even in America, UK, tax man cannot grab money from your account, the most they will do is take you to court.
No government should have such control over citizens, where do we as Nigerian draw a line? It is not as if they will even use the money for "Betta" things, is it not to buy land cruisers, ride convoy if 100 cars, for wike to buy rolls royce, to ride private jet as if it is uber, to renovate ICC for 37b, to put fuel inside presidential jet to parambulate all over Europe etc.
