creativejagaban:If they call this one idiot now he will be angry not knowing it is a compliment to him. |
miracle002:Oga no where in the world does it make economic sense to allow importation against your local industry and then call it competition, rather your are killing your local industry and driving away investors both local and foreign. Legitimate competition is where other local refinaries come inboard and drag price with dangote while maintaining quality. It has been esplained that what those importers are bringing in is a blend of all sorts, most with high sulphur content, few days ago I wrote of how the 10k topup fuel I bought was stinking, it is now I realise it was due to high sulphur content, after watching on arise news someone said they took samples from two petrol stations for analysis and the content was 1000ppm instead of the 50 recommended standard by ecowas. If dangote is producing at 50ppm, some importer then goes to bring a low standard, cheap gasoline or diesel with 500ppm, ofcourse the importers price will be cheaper and will drive dangote out of business. When local industry dies, no be full importation be that? All the thousands or millions of dependants dangote creates a living for through that refinary, all the billions paid in taxes, the shoring up of our foreign exchange. Meanwhile the importers are creating jobs in other economies. Look at aluminium, those days you had industries eg tower aluminium producing quality profiles, the gates was opened to importation, prices came down so low, do too the thickness of aluminium profiles, poor quality but cheap, last last tower aluminium is a shell of its self, it was sold sometime back by the owners, a once bustling factory with hundreds of workers running shifts. Oga go and buy roofing sheets and test them, you can squeeze it in your hands like paper, you can also tear roofing sheet as if it is cardboard. Oga as one from a manufacturing background, calling those importers of petrol, diesel good completion is absurd. |
Just imagine.. |
SisterAnn:Not only was he slow, seem he was schizophrenic too.. |
mohims:Don't be silly, are you a child? This administration has allegedly made some agreement with France over our taxes and revenue generation, something that will affect you and millions of Nigerians yet full disclosure has not be made so citizens know what agreement the government is signing on their behalf. Obi then speaks for reasonable nigerians, asking the questions halfwits do not realize they need to know as they feel it does not concern then, rather they use it to attack who is asking on their behalf. Funny thing is they do not realize the man is fighting for them. Oga, assuming you are knowledgeable, can you explain to us what agreement regarding taxes and revenue has been made with France? |
I know dad's paddy those day in the UK when we were younger went to jail over failed marriage promise. The man was even a married man. The lady made him go to jail. Cannot remember the exact circumstance. |
EchoEnigma:That's the word best used to describe them. |
Fiscus105:Balance what position, a clear case of living above his means? In the whole working life of that man, all his earning together cannot sponsor just 1 child through Swiss private education, so how did he do it if he is not a crook, did he win euro millions lottery and he has kept it private? See when we see the truth we should call it so, that is the only way this country can get better. Oga I have written here before of my paddy that imports petrol months ago and mentioned him having a meeting with this man. Is it that you do not know what a baby born today knows? Look at it this way, this man is in charge of issuing licenses for fuel import, lots of companies are trying to secure the few licenses, add that together as a Nigerian and tell me what will happen. |
Capernum:Last last he will be made ambassador for roadsafety, police or even nominated as country ambassador to represent naija abroad, after all if Reno omokri can make it, pella certainly can. |
budaatum:Oga from your attitude you can never be someone like me, you see evil yet try to colour it good. Fine if he has previous investments or jobs that will earning him a life of such luxury he should show us, anyway commonsense tells reasonable, sensible people that you cannot be that wealthy and then take a lowly paid Nigerian civil service work. We are not talking of something prestigious like eg ambassadorial appointment which is for clout. Oga the man has worked for 30 years in the Nigerian oil sector as a civil servant, he did not work in shell, chevron, Mobil etc. He has come out to say his annual salary is 48m which is $30k, he says his late father was a prominent businessman who supported the fees, just like Wike's who said his father was manager of a company and rode benz, his wife's parents bought the children million dollar houses in US, cock and bull stories for almajeries, even almajeries will bang their pans on your head for calling them a fool with such explanation. |
budaatum:You funny.. So he has work experience abi, with the work experience what work is he using the experience to do for the last few years ie civil service work, a dg of a parastatal, is he salary not known? Is it not paid by government? How much taxes has he paid in the last 10 years, even the last 3 years? Do you even know what $5m means, do you appreciate the amount of money in a poor country like Nigeria? To casually use 7.5b to pay secondary school school fees alone! People like you are those that make this country never move forward, you see such evil, instead of you to praise dangote for exposing such you are using half sense to defend rubbish. Do you know 99.9% of Nigerians will work from their day of birth to the day they die and not earn 10% of that money? |
This man has unleashed the computer boys to spew rubbish to distract simple minded people. The question at had that must first be answered DID HIS 5 PUPPIES SCHOOL ATTEND SECONDARY SCH IN SWITZERLAND AND IF YES HOW MUCH DID HE PAY AS SCHOOL FEES. DID HE PAY $5M AS ALLEGED BY DANGOTE, IF NO HOW MUCH DID HE PAY WITH EVIDENCE. ICPC, efcc, firs, irs, lastma, roadsafety, man o war, army, navy, amotekun etc should all be after him to audit his earnings right from the age of 18 till date. |
SmartPolician:Yeah, all those that fell by the wayside. Oga just last week Saturday one paddy posted his last son's graduation from Pan african university, took pictures, son wife and him at the graduation event, I even congratulated him on fb. Omo one week later I got news the guy slept and did not wake up! How ? |
Na so, may God guide us to the right path. |
Kukutente23:Watin you know about car sef, all these small pikins. Oya come buy me car naa.. |
tosyne2much:If you don't know of stinking petrol then you may be too young to remember years ago when all the fuel stations were stinking, cars smelling from bad fuel that damaged lots of engines. Imagine that I toped my tank with 15l so it got diluted with previous fuel and it smelt so bad, engine ran rough, what if I had bought full tank. Anyway I let my tank get completely empty before buying again, now the bad smell is gone, so in that case will you say I have emissions leak? Oga nothing you want to tell me about automobiles, I have used all sorts since I started driving 1989 till date from all sorts of fuel scarcity from ibb time to abacha when we as students were professionals in sucking fuel from tanks, kegs, drums et with hoses, when you know bad or rotten fuel not just by fumes but taste too when some enter your belle sotay you belch. |
Kaa4:Don't deceive yourself, the quality of the imported fuel can never be high, it is most likely a product of blending. 2 weeks ago I bought fuel that stank all the way to the high heavens, you start the engine smell will enter the car, near the tank too was stinking, certainly that was imported fuel and it burns fast. |
ochigboochayi:If it has been abused by yahoo Boys how does that concern me? So police should stress me because yahoo boy abused it? |
This man sha must insist on this tinted glass issue, Nigerians have said they do not want yet this IG insists on forcing Nigerians to pay thousands of naira for revenue generation. Go and check you will see a "consultant" set up this revenue generation and is remitting heavy money to some Ogas at the top. Imagine all vehicles including those with factory tint having to get permit. |
saphiere:What crime? |
Antoeni:Exactly first things is that his license should be revoked, it should be made know to all security agencies that he does not have the privilege to drive hence arrested anytime he is seen driving. |
Nothing wrong in that, infact they should be applauded for standing for the oppressed, anyone that is righteous will surely be on the side of the Palestinians. |
bestman09:Fighting to protect his business? how patriotic do you think anyone could be more than dangote, someone that could build such asset in Nigeria the whole country could not build in donkey years. I tell you no Nigerian ever is as commited and patriotic to Nigeria as dangote. See, what money do you think the man or his generations need to enjoy a comfortable life that the man does not already have? As others like him have done is to retire and go an enjoy life in Monaco, dubai, France etc Abi dont you see Otedola? Take life easy, invest money in businesses that will not give you stress like dangote is doing right now. Last month or so, naira started appreciating, infact £ dropped to less than 2k, $ dropped to 1435 and naira was gaining only to see in the last few days the trend is reversing, naira has been steadily reversing. I was speaking with my paddy just yesterday and he told me he just brought in 2 cargos of fuel, one had landed and the other ship will soon come in, instantly I knew licenses has been issued by this DG for importation again. I have been with my paddy when he has called this DG man to schedule an appointment all on getting import license, no doubt this man is making millions. See dangote refinary was meant to reduce pressure on the naira as he gets his crude from nnpc in local currency and sells to distributors also in local currency. Importers on the other hand have to source fx to use to import petroleum products, it removes fx liquidity putting pressure on our currency. |
Have you married her? You only met her once, what if you change your mind tomorrow and she has put all her eggs in one basket with you? |
pointblank247:Na 20year old you de call boy or kid? The people flying F16s, driving armored tanks, driving nuclear submarines even steering aircraft carriers worth billions how old them be? Have you not entered aircraft flown by 20 year old before? Abeg naija makes grownups seem like kids. Palla that is living with woman for 2 years certainly is no kid, na man with bia bia for blokos. |
Kudos to the troops. |
Naija wahala too much jare. |
