Many years ago I knew 3 ladies who were close friends, hair dressers. Once of them got pregamant, it was the story around say she don carry belle. Her friends made her plight an object of ridicule say no husband.

While one can understand anger from the father and his actions, he may have taken it too far. Anyway, from experience, such lady if she does not find a new husband will blame her parents for a failed marriage. When she is lonely, she will blame her father for destroying her marriage, she will say she was young and did not have experience, that her parents should have known better.
