EmperorIsaac:Watch this video it will help you. The saint and a Nigerian just as you. https://youtube.com/shorts/2bPs4wN0FK0?si=_JO4V4a-CESQOflG |

Mabuggi88:I agree with you. The only way the incumbent can be removed is with obi having an arrangement atiku, anything else will see the vote being split in favour of the incumbent just as it happened during the last elections. |
Shameless man, I am sure Ade too uses London hospitals as they will also have his records. Those London hospitals if you check have Nigerian doctors. I remember when my friends wife a late oonis daughter put to bed in London, it was a Nigerian doctor an ex shool mate in UI that took delivery. I hope people like manna bbq aka darling daddy also has his doctors in London just, as his darling daddy had. |
Cheny00:Oga painful as it may be, try to move on. You certainly do not need the wahala and threats. |
JIBO4REAL:Can you show the cbn policy that instructed banks to stop all international transactions using atms? You know what?, you are the usual average Nigerian that will defend your ignorance with confidence. Instead of asking questions and getting informed you arrogantly claim knowledge yet dumb. Don't worry it is not unique to you, months ago on a thread here about haulage I spoke of earning a certain sum, one idiot argued it can never be done, saying it is false info, a stupid person because if I had been in his shoes, I would first have asked how it was done to earn what seemed impossible to him, probably I would have told him then he increases his earnings. Oga, my bank card never stopped working, I have always had $3000 monthly limit (which could have been increased if needed). Those with regular cards eg my kids had $800-1000 limits (if I remember right). My regular subscriptions, YouTube, Netflix and other online payments, using the card overseas, everything works. Ignorance is a desease, if you doubt why not walk into the bank or call customer care to confirm?
|
GeneralDae:Exactly. I tried explaining this to some fellow on this post but as usual the usual naija confidence while clearly ignorant. He claims there was a cbn instruction to banks to block cards from fx payments. |
Wealthoptulent:Guess you never heared providus bank naira cards were never shut down, you just stressed yourself for nothing. The montly limit was about $800 for ordinary cards while the platinum about 3k. I am surprised so many people were ignorant of this. |
JIBO4REAL:Oga you rather is ignorant, my bank card never for one day stopped working. I am specific that my providus bank card worked and works till date. The regular card had limit of $1000(or so), mine a platinum had $3000 monthly limit. Why are you arguing? Those banks that stopped theres was because they horded their fx and could not back their cards with dollars for reasons best known to them. Eg during the period of banks selling PTA gotten from cbn in emefieles period you could get PTA from some banks while some eg ze--th will never sell to you, instead their staff will be the one making purchases. Look at the dates on the attached, first is an Alixpress payment from last year, the others are mails from the bank.

Tjra:You for kukuma put a inside air fryer with some spices join ![]() |
Omo see warning. If a whole Deji aka Mr wahala can warn you, better take it seriously ohh. Lol |
Abeg they should spare us the drama. Imagine him dying in a London hospital and his nephew is also ill in a London hospital. People that were at the helm of the affairs of a whole country going for medical treatment and death in another people's country. If this is not sorcery, (aka no be juju be dat?) I wonder what is it. |
TimeManager:Oga the suspension of naira card had little to do with cbn but rather policies of the individual banks. The reason for this opinion is that some banks eg providus bank never suspended forex payment on its cards. |
immaculatesense:Bros try to read other news aside Nairaland. https://m.economictimes.com/news/international/global-trends/us-news-trump-gives-deportation-threat-to-elon-musk-but-us-presidents-latest-target-might-have-an-exit-plan-canadian-citizenship/articleshow/122205708.cms https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-citizenship-revoked-denaturalized/ |
immaculatesense:Someome Trump is threatening to revoke his citizenship? Dude was born and raised in SA. I think he travel to the US on a student visa then started working illegally which would be enough grounds for his citizenship to be revoked by a hostile government. |
Since when did 10k rand become 850m naira? Op better correct that blunder. Anyway I am sure the culprit must be one of our blodas. |
Unfortunate incident. Thank God it is not worse that happened. Hope the aircraft will be back to service soon |
darthv:So if you have troops within the airport vicinity and there is an emergency, they should just sit down and watch because it is not their job to rescue or assist those rescuing people? I don't blame you bro, we are Nigerians and it is in our nature to talk for talking sake. |
BodyCount:Inexperienced pilot? Abi you do not know how many hours of flight time you must have as 1st officer before becoming a captain? |
Tofu? Tastes like cardboard. I will get rather eat my tie than eat tofu. If it is tofu and thr deep blue sea some will choose the sea. 😂 |
Nigerians get what they deserve. They want to see projects costing billions as evidence a government is doing well, eg some will say a politician like Obi had no projects to show when he was governor, but obiano came and built airport etc. The issue here is timing. Look at your personal life and business. Is it when your source of income or business is facing challenges, your stock is down, your capital is depleted, you are in debt, you then go and secure loans to use to build new office complex, furnish it, then buy new official vehicles, you then build a new mansion for yourself? Or on the other hand you collect either collect the loan or even manage whatever money you can find, invest the money in new goods in your shop, nurse the business, cut all unnecessary expenses, over time as sales improve you clear debt and then when the business is in the green you start spending on important projects eg the new office complex or vehicles out of your profit in a sustainable way. Your capital is intact and growing as a it is only part of your profit you spend. Nigerians do not understand this even the common man, all they want to see is bridge, road etc and so the politician that has never ran any business before enters and sees those roads as a means to making billions of money from kickback. Obi spent on the necessities as the state was in debt, he cleared the debt and put the state in green ofcourse his tenure expired and a new man came and saw the savings from profits which he should have spent on projects in a sustainable way eg you meet 100b in the bank, you spend 50b on projects, then save again until the money gets to 100b before spending another 50b. But no, the usual naija politician will see the 100b in the bank and issue contracts for 200b, half of the money will be for "awon boys", at the end of the day, the state is in debt. Same goes for the coastal road and other elephant projects. With how the economy was met by this administration, all new projects should have been suspended until the economy stabilises, after that projects could have been done gradually in a sustainable way. Imagine spending and even borrowing billions of dollars to pump in that coastal road in shaky economy, yet you wonder why naira keep depreciating. |
bluefilm:And why do you hope she visits all her teachers if one may ask? |
Kobicove:Yeah, that's my calculation. 150 of such transaction is 1.5m in cash. |
Puss360:Yeah stock makes money but it is like "kalukalu". Best thing in my opinion is to go from bank to bank, negotiate a good interest rate for fix deposit, put in your money for 3 months, after that take your interest and convert it to £, throw that one to your UK acct or local domiciliary, then run the FD for another 3 months or move to to another place offering better interest. Ofcouse you know uk banks can never pay more than 4% interest unlike developing countries that pay more, naija FD rates go as high as 20%. So having £50k equivalent in naija gives you a higher income that having it in UK bank. Inflation is a concern though, but that is why you do it for 3-6 months. At 16% my paddy sees 1.2m earning monthly on FD. |
Jogs1900:You must be kidding right? Next thing you will say it is a prank Abi? |
abuhusna1:And what investments would that be, kindly share with us. |
Chukwudi4naija:Cant blame him, some do not know any better, they talk based on their life experience. You come from a different background so will see things from a different perspective. |
Na wah, people go through things. As for me sha, I can confidently say I had the best father ever, lost him 2 years ago. Funny thing, this evening discussing with my sibling in obodo oyinbo, we both agreed in that heaven where he is, God should continue to bless him and give him a special place. |
tunnyl:Likely the help will be from God using people, as in op should go to church and confess his sins and problems, pastor then makes the congregation to contribute offering for him to use to pay his igbese to the loan compamies, even settle the olosho he owes too so he can have a clean fresh start with the olosho, loan and gaming companies. |
marlow1962:Yeah, a good washing machine and by that I mean LG from fouani with 1 year warranty cost 390k, 12kg capacity. Avoid any other brand eg hisense, century etc. Last toks industrial iron we got for our laundry dept was 15-20k. Shelfs etc will be basic so will be ironing tables etc. Truth of the matter is that someone that has his eyes set high, eg a brother friend or someone you want to assist will see the amount as too small, they will want even AC, special cabinets, perfumes etc for the shop to start. They will even want to tile the floor lol. The reason I gave an example of that young struggling lady is that she is an example of one with the experience but no financial power, even if she sees less than that 1m (which is an unheard of amount to her) she will start the business and have left over as running capital till the business stabilises. Bros we are talking of a lady that is paid 30k monthly as salary and the boss delays the payment, meanwhile he only appears there once in a while. She washes, irons, drys and even does some deliveries with an infant child tied to her back. Young lady of about 26-27. Don't forget she also has an established customer base that will move with her to her own laundry business. My point is that if you already know the business, a little ie the basics is what you need to start with. |
Barteze:30k? That much? Are you sure. When I collect 10k they charge N200, how many 200 will they have to collect to get 30k ie 1.5m @2% charges. Anyway, guess it must be profitable if not people wount do it. |
