Omo, people don't realise how far economy has deteriorated in the past 2 years. The shocker hit me yesterday. I went on the flutterwave send app ie the app for money transfer from naija to abroad. £10k to send abroad is N21,571,000!.
When this Emilokan came in, just 2 months before that £10k bought through PTA was N5.7m, through open market it was N6.5m.
The shocker is that when these apc devils came in 2015, the same £10k was just N2.5m!
How did we go from N2.5m to N21m in 10 years under apc, buhari and Tinubu?

The flight was for 4.45pm Ie means the counter for that particular flight was closed by 4pm.
He got there by 4.10pm.
Note that other flights with the same airline will use the same counter.
Now if the counter has closed and minifest forwarded how then will a new ticket be sold? The only circumstance is if there is a "no show" at the closing of the counter the airline then decides to sell the ticket space to someone on a "wait list" . Ie Someone waiting to see if a booked passenger does not appear within the stipulated period, ofcourse that seat could be sold, if the original passanger then arrives late and the seat has been sold, then it is his fault and will be rescheduled to fly after paying a fee.
Bottomline is that no matter what is done, you do not show truancy by taking the law into your hands causing disruption because you are an influencal person, infact you use your influence to make a complaint to the necessary authorities. I have had flight delays with air peace (which is what they are know for) have I gone to disrupt the airport? Rather I chose to fly United nigeria airline as first choice, and if they are not available, I the use air peace as last resort.

It's obvious, some Nigerians suffer from short memory. When Government was paying subsidy, Nigerians at the time still were complaining about everything, long queues, fuel scarcity, no roads, no light, lack of health care, frequent ASUU strikes, poor renumeration, low quality Education, inflation etc. And now that the subsidy fraud has ended and more money are going into FAAC, more funds being channeled into infrastructural projects, including welfare and increase in wages and salaries of workers. There's systematic and gradual improvement in the economic outlook. You may complain about rise in food, transport, electricity costs, though genuine, however, these are fundamentally as a result of human factor such as banditry/terrorism. The power sector was poorly privatized which subsequently needed Government intervention. The bottom line is the fact that economy is on the path of right direction, tough but promising.



PS - the ignorance here is many quoting me do not know that subsidy funds saved goes into federation account where it's shared among the states and the federal government. Your Governors are collecting their share of it, Soludo was the latest to validate it. Go and ask your Governors how the increased FAAC is being used.
