There are many reasons why coke is expensive in some countries and why they are cheaper in another and also why they taste differently.

Why are they expensive. Production cost, tax and also logistics cost( moving them from one place to another) one important stuff is foreign exchange fluctuation when importing the base ingredients.

A 50cl coke cost around 300 naira in Canada like you write down 2.49( 400 naira)

It is obvious that cost of production will be higher in Canada than in Nigeria, wages are also lower in Nigeria.

Also the only reason coke taste differently in Canada and Nigeria is simple. Most times, they make sure to adapt to the local taste.

The base ingredients are the same but they also try to adapt to our loca taste in terms of sweetness. Making it too sweet here in Nigeria might make them lose sales while in another country if it is not sweet they won't buy it.

It is the same way KFC in New York will have different taste from the one in Japan.

It makes no sense at all, almost amounting to the legendary sleaze and corruption the civil service is reputed for (disrepute actually).
Let's break it down. A monthly expenditure of 20 million naira on electricity amounts to about 650k daily. If they're supplied with only 3 hours of power every day, then that's 220k per hour. Haba!
Furthermore, 80k litres of diesel in a month is about a hundred million naira every month for 24 hours power? It just doesn't add up to me.

Oga it is possible, the medical center will be an MD customer, ie those that have private transformers, we struggle with average monthly bills of 5m for a small boutique hotel and an event center. All this is aside diesel cost which is the real killer. Infact most business these days see diesel as the major expense. Most cannot afford to restart production process when nepa takes light and bring it at will so they just keep the gen running.
Now if the federal medical center is a big place such as Lasuth, or LUTH, I assume they will have heavy equipments such as CT scanners, MRI and other power hungry equipments you cannot just shut down, they are not like computers or TV you off and on, it takes a long process. Based on that assuming they run a 1000kva generator which ast 80% load consumes eg 180 liters of diesel per hour for 15 hours daily ie 2700 liters per day or 81k liters monthly.
Yes corruption as you rightly said will be there. I give you an example, few days ago we bought 500 liters, the next day by 5am estate security stopped a vehicle leaving with 7 kegs of diesel, last last it was traced to my premises. By 5am my security man had drained 220 liters into 7 kegs and a buyer came that early morning with a vehicle to carry, paying him 24k per keg. And this has gone on for a long time, luckily we caught them.

Yeah, only an unreasonable government will shut down a school probably employing over 50 people, paying plenty in taxes etc to government over a grievous parent that wants to run a school down because the school no longer wants her business. They even gave her a full refund.
Do you even know what it takes to setup a school, to grow it to the extent that structure is built? How many families that business sustains? do you know the cost of all the certifications issued to the school by the education ministry? Abeg let that parent send their child to government owned school as no privately owned school should accept her kids. They should be blacklisted. Let her go and open her own school.

The school in her good intention decided to refund the woman school children fees regardless that her kids have gain some free tutors from the school, and you came online to cry foul. Believe anything any woman said at your own peril. To me if the school pay her back her money, they overdo well. She must be a trouble maker.
