Karlifate: Once a woman start comparing you with another man, she's lost respect for you.
If a woman has lost respect for you, your whatever-ship is sitting on a ticking time bomb.
If she still got a lil good conscience, she'll just pack out without you knowing BUT if she's lost, you might lose your life along the line. In that case 90% of Nigerian women have lost respect for their spouses. If you are in the educational field and hear what women say about their husbands. This is especially when they are pleading for more time to pay school fees or when they hangout with themselves to pick up kids. You hear all sorts that their husbands are jobless, useless this and that, that they (ladies) are the ones struggling to pay the fees and even (using their words) "carrying the house". Imagine all this is just because the man has a small set back and the lady for once pays or contributes for the fees or rent. Truth of the matter, marragie without money will likely have problems. |

Kemetian: Russian auto giant AvtoVAZ enters Nigeria with spare parts hub, local assembly plant
https://c76c7bbc41.mjedge.net/wp-content/uploads/tc/2025/03/Avtovaz-factory.png
AvtoVAZ, Russia’s largest automaker, which is majority-owned by the Russian government, is expanding into Nigeria as part of a broader strategy to diversify operations beyond its home market. The company plans to establish a spare parts hub and service center at the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos before the end of 2025, marking its most significant push into West Africa’s largest economy.
The automaker is also in talks with the Nigerian government to set up a local assembly plant, a move that could aid its long-term presence in a country where new car sales are outpaced by demand for used vehicles.
AvtoVAZ’s expansion is in response to increasing competition, particularly from Chinese automakers strengthening their presence in Russia amid ongoing talks of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. Great Wall Motors, a Chinese manufacturer, plans to boost its production capacity in Russia from 150,000 to 200,000 units by 2025. Hyundai and Renault are reportedly plotting a return to the Russian market after a ceasefire deal is reached.
Seeking new growth avenues, AvtoVAZ is looking to Nigeria’s underdeveloped but high-potential automotive sector, where annual vehicle demand stands at approximately 720,000 units. Local production meets only about 14,000 units.
AvtoVAZ plans to tap into Nigeria’s push for alternative fuel vehicles. It will partner with a Russian engineering firm to establish a compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion plant, allowing Lada cars to be equipped with factory-fitted or locally converted gas-powered engines. While AvtoVAZ will supply the vehicles, the yet-to-be-selected engineering partner will handle the conversion process, according to Adewole Opeyemi, AvtoVAZ’s official representative in Nigeria.
“If you bring CNG cars to Nigeria, you don’t pay any duties, which is why we are in talks with the relevant agencies,” Opeyemi said. “Some Lada cars will arrive with factory-fitted gas-powered engines, while others will be converted locally by Russian specialists.”
https://techcabal.com/2025/03/26/avtovaz-enters-nigeria/ Nice one. I once owned brand new lada saloon car in the early 90s, strong as a rock, engine never faild, never had to change parts such as shocks, bushings etc. Body nko, strong kakaraka, real iron. The only issue was over-heating in traffic as it did not come with extra radiator fans. If I remember right is cost 50k back then while a daewoo racer very base model was 95k, then the normal trim was 110, esperio was about 140-150k. |

To get things right in Nigeria. The president should establish a kind of jail that should be called Corrupt People's Prison (CPP), Different from regular jails for other criminals. This jail should house corrupt politicians and Yahoo boys. Make a constitutional amendments to this effect. All the states and all government officials will be audited at the end of every month. The auditor should be hired from overseas, and the judge that should decide the case should be a foreign judge. These people to be hired will never be known by the person they are going to audit and are people that can't be bribed.
If at the end of the audit, the Governor or minister or any government official cannot account for 10 million, he should spend 10 years in CPP. 20 million should be 20years. 100miliion to 900milion should be life in prison. Above 1 billion should be death by hanging or firing squad to be conducted in your home town with a live coverage of the hanging or firing squad.
If this is not done, Nigeria will never get it right. And who do you think will be the first inmate if it is done properly? |

Some people above me are suffering from those mental issues. They don't even understand what he's driving at in the article but their envy for dangote has already made them start tackling what he said.
For clarification purposes, dangote has no problem with whatever the government is making from his products, he's just stating one of the ways the government makes money without directly involving in business. He pushing for government building a more conducive environment so local investors can thrive and encourage foreign investors to come in thereby increasing how much the government makes.

You actually expect them to return when you misfits have destroyed the country? Do Nigerian even remember that $10,000 was N1.5m just 2014 before Tinubu brought apc and buhari to power? Do Nigerians remember just 2 years ago tinubu took over from buhari $10,000 was N7m in black market, PTA from cbn was N4.6m for $10k. Today emilokan has taken over it is now N16.5m for what use to be 1.5m under Jonathan's time! What right thinking student or civil servant will return to the country when sent abroad? Other countries will see crude price increase and it will improve their standards, they will remove subsidy it will improve their currency, for us nothing nothing. Only one family is getting richer while trying to turn Nigerians into beggers that will come to their gate every morning, then they will share them 1k with rice and tomatoes. |

Simpleshafee: It’s quite unfortunate that the police shot the boy. If the driver of the vehicle had obeyed the traffic rule, this unfortunate incident would have been avoided. Oga most of us are law abiding, me especially, by 1am I still wait for traffic lights. This does not mean like many others I have not taken a short cut over the years wrong as it may be. I don't do it but I wount say I have not once done it. The unfortunate thing is that in this case it lead to an escalation. As in the father did it when a whole team of oyo lastma were driving by, he thought he could quickly escape but no way. Look at the video closely, the man likely came out of a street and instead of going the long way to make a turn, decided take a quick dash to the crossing. Which driver in lagos has not done it before? Who will cast the first stone?

Ladies are seen dressed in see-through dresses while men would be seen smokong nonsense. Is that proper? Uber drivers wouid work from night till down carrying them here and there So the uber drivers have work abi? the ladies are providing a service and making money. The night club employ lots of workers from security, bouncers, waiters, cooks etc. They pay nepa bills, buy drinks from eg Nbl, Guinness etc, catfish, chicken from farmers. They pay all sorts of taxes to local government, state and even the safety agency in question. In short they are providing economic activity. Why will they state shut them down because of what you perceive as immorality when it is not that Lagos is zamfara state? Your concerns legimate as they may be needs regulations not shutdown. |
