@Needlelady.Which godamn progress did you make in Nigeria under Obj? Sharing the national cake in circles? Is that your idea of progress? Is it not the same Obj that wasted whatammacllit in the energy sector by filling his offsore accounts to the brim? Praytell. |
aaarrgggh, do you know how frustrating it is to debate intellectually with you anti-west types?? So suddenly your definition of capitalism and your deeming it as the problem stems from your delusion that the oil companies in Nigeria are controlled by the US government and hence defacto we have capitalism in Nigeria.I don't know whether you are just delusional or you can't understand simple english. i just said that indigenous American oil companies in America control their own govt to an enormous extent and you are correlating my statement with Nigerian govt. Duh? Have you eaten this night or do you need your reading glasses? |
How long have you actually lived in Lagos Cause these ideas of yours I find really strangeDuh? do you have to live in China in todays world to tell the stories about China? |
And you fail to understand that alot of lagosians are m*uslims. No one is imposing nor creating an 'Only musli*m' political class. That is a blatant lie. There are more lagosians that practice the true religion than those that practice the great religion. |
Ok, I have a list of them. Then where should I go with the list?? Mudashiru was a m-uslim. I am almost certain Rasaki and Marwa were too. Some others were christians. What do I do with the list. How do I disect it to make it say what you want me to make it say??I'm sorry I can't help you any further when you even find it difficult to decipher the elected ones and imposed ones. |
wait a sec,Really? Nigeria is now a communist state from your perspective? Are the oil companies not in total control of the US govt? should that equate to communism too? |
If I did, I would not have asked you, would IYou have the list of lagos state govs(past and present) posted here, knock yourself out babe. |
i suppose we musl*ms should also start getting pissed because there have never been any elected musl*m governors in the eastern stares. there must be an antimusl#m clique among the eastern governorsIs it the eastern and south southern states that cannot boast of at least 1% muslim indigenes ? |
1) How did you determine that we are helpless and cannot stop them from looting?? Or is this not just an extension on the problem in the BLACK WORLD?? Inability to stand up for one's right as one should but instead willing to change systems around to solve the problemWhatever solution you have in place now is clearly not working, so, you can as well try something new. I'm not saying that communism is devoid of problems but it may be easier for us to tackle than languish in poverty. Poverty is a disease and it's more dangerous when it's artificially created, |
Well, I have. I have lived over 75% of my life in that state and I do not see what you see. Hence the reason why I am asking for some sort of proof of this. Never really noticed any connection with religion when it comes to politics in Lagos.Does it matter? You have the proof before you. |
Do you have proof of this claim of discrimination?? I mean I have been waiting for you to provide proof of this so called discrimination in Lagos state and so far, you have not. Is there proof of this or is this just another MY MIND THINKS IT MEANS IT IS TRUE storyJust take a look at the states pedigree and tell me how many elected christian(AKA magnificent religion) governors on the list. |
@Poster, How did you arrive at what we have now being the Problem and not the government itslf being the problem? The govt is not a person. If we are helpless and cannot stop them from looting, we can as well clamour for a system that will force them to surrender. |
@Needlelady You crack me up but its true. These balls they rave so much about it turns out we have 'more balls' than most men.Their balls are made with amala. |
Needlelady thank you very much for representing women here. You have been doing a good job and you make me laugh soooo much. You make statements similar to my fatherYou are welcome, honey. When you stand up to men and tell them their sins to their face, they'll wish you turn into a carcass but they will always have a field day here disrespecting women at our expense. That's why they are always quick to jump at AlmondJoy anytime she bolds up to them. I'll rather remain a pussy in the next world than a dicky. Jeeez, those creatures creep me out. |
The Nigerian govt is known to be corrupt and the looting culture is far from being over, rather, the priviledged few device other sneaky ways to beat the EFCC. Will you support Nigeria to practice communism(libertarian) that will help create a classless Nigerian society and make looting less attractive? Beside the usual tyranny that accompanies communism, don't you think that if we imbibe such economic system, our society will get better infracstructure and standard of living? |
By DocEnam,Can you please teach us here how you ease the natural sex tension whenever you get Hot? It'll go a long way in helping some of the he goats here. |
theoretically and ideally people have a right to a public defender. of course, nigeria does things different. noticed i proposed it only for serial killers. the death penalty is seldom used even here in the US.Seldom used? take a trip to the southern states especially Texas. Do you know that 38 inmates were executed when Bush was the governor of Texas? |
I don't care even if Mammy Water is the GovernorIf it's that irrelevant, why not let the office open for anybody that cares to run for it? Why discriminating against some eligible candidates based on their personal belief? |
Y'all need JahWe don't smoke weed. |
with forensics these days and the appeal process, i don't see many people that would be wrongfully convicted. u don't send someone to death using circumstantial evidenceDid you say many? One wrongful conviction is appaling. Imagine your brother or you in that shoe for a crime you know nothing about. It's very easy for us to run our mouths whenever the case in question does not concern us. You need to think outside the box. |
Kanu in financial chaos - To pay N689m overdraft on house, cars seized Sunday, April 13, 2008 SUPER Eagles of Nigeria’s captain, Nwankwo Kanu has had three flash cars seized by bailiffs acting for the taxman. Kanu’s mansion valued at N689m Photo - Courtesy The Sun.co.uk advertisement And the striker, whose goal put Premiership side Portsmouth into next month’s FA Cup final, has until August 31 to pay off a £2.8million overdraft or his mansion could be repossessed. A Mercedes and two Audis were up for auction on Thursday and a £170,000 Ferrari may also be seized from 31-year-old Kanu – who is paid £45,000 a week. The auction price of the Mercedes, which cost him £25,000, was £8,300 – while the Audis, bought for a total of £50,000, were on offer at £19,100. A spokesman for Plaistow Auctions, East London, said: “Only one of the sales actually went through. The two unsold cars may go for auction again.” Details of the Nigerian international’s chaotic money management are contained in a High Court writ issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland. The ex-Arsenal player was granted a ten-year overdraft of £2.8million in September 2004 to buy the mansion on an acre of land in Barnet, North London. He agreed to put his net monthly income into his One account, pay £280,000 a year to reduce the overdraft and take out buildings insurance worth £2.8million (N689m). But the RBS claimed he breached the mortgage deal by failing to keep the property in good condition or properly insured. He also neglected to pay his monthly income into his bank account and exceeded his overdraft by £92,844.49 in September 2005. On July 27, 2005, the bank demanded repayment of £2,885,353.39. On March 28 a judge ordered Kanu to make a £100,000 downpayment. He must pay his entire debt by August, or the bank can reactivate its claim on the house, now valued at £4million. On Friday night, Kanu’s lawyer insisted the bank issue had been “resolved to their mutual satisfaction”. And he said a High Court injunction prevented the sale of any of the cars. http://odili.net/news/source/2008/apr/13/602.html |
By JennyKadry,It's that stupid excuse we give them that makes them misbehave badly. If your man is misbehaving, it'll surely affect you directly or indirectly. It's not only HIV that is bad these days but herpes is also incurable. Why I pity todays women is while they are busy blocking their men from sleeping with other women, the man himself is busy getting his groove on from another man's nyash. How will you curb that? Anytime your man is always going out with his friend claiming they are going to watch Arsenal and Man United play, tell him to stay home and watch it because the field Arsenal will play that match may be his behind. Why don't men also say, women will always be women? |
By cadet,2042? I think that is too far. Try and project year 2015. Indeed, the male desire has no dinstinction. |
By pataki,I meant you lost yours before Awolowo himself. I noticed that your name is slowly going through evolution from pahtakhee to pataki, who knows, it'll soon metamorphosize to Pant attack at the rate you abuse your body with indiscriminate sex. What a blessed day when that your dicky will catch gonokhaikhai. |
By pataki,It's no more about ladies these days, most of you go hunting for another man's nyash these days. |
By CadetImagine! everyday you open this page, it's one schmuch or another complaining about a grey haired pussy or smelly pussy or wide pussy or non virgin female and all we do as women is just defend and defend. we can also attack and request for the best of men. It's obvious from the responses so far that they have all fallen short of that virgin glory, none of them was bold enough to deny it. M***fuc**rs! |
You must be living in Alice in WonderlandFrom your response, it's obvious you lost your virginity before Awolowo but that does not mean that there are no men out there that still keep themselves chaste for the wedding night and those are the men I'm looking for. I must marry a male virgin whether you like it or not. I can't belittle myself and stoop so low by sleeping with a non virgin unclean man. Lol, there are so many dirty honeypots out there and I cannot risk opening my honey pot for whorish men. |
most lagosians are secular or moderate. what power shift are u talking about??I guess there was a religious preference from the get go, hmmm, Otedola must have entered the office by accident with respect to his religion. |
Quite(maybe an understatement, majority of them are) a number of Yoruba lagosians are great ones, more so than in any other yoruba state( Kwara might be an exception though). It is only natural that this reflects in the politicalappointments in the state. How did you come by this conclusion? More yoruba muslims are from Oyo state and parts of the yoruba kwara. I think christians and muslim lagos indigenes equate each other but there seems to be a power shift. |
I mean it is one thing to have solutions but have we TRIED to implement those solutions?? It is easy to say what we have not tried has not worked but that has yet to do any people any good.
