Their story is more credible..in fact their story is the authentic!

Your concoction is the hearsay. Im not sure you know the meaning of hearsay.

In court your statement is not admissible because it is based on conjecture of what you "think" happened.

The locales are telling us what they "know" happened. Their evidence will be accepted.

Please go and update yourself on meaning of hearsay.

Lol. See who talking about hearsay. All I said was just about personal experience and why we should not jump into conclusion from something you just hear.
Now you are telling me your source is genuine and what they told you with evidence. What they told you? So that's not your personal experience but what they told you with evidence. It that not still classified as hearsay when you can't even provide any authentic evidence to show that that actual crime was committed by Fulani herdsmen. Please go and study the true meaning of hearsay before you come try to defend your meaningless assumption as that is what is it right now in the court of law.

It doesnt matter if you have spent five lifetimes, each as long 70yrs, going up and down that road, your position does not agree with facts on this issue.

Those who live in communities in the area said these are fulani herdsmen. Who is better at knowledge of the environment and activities than those whose locality is under discussion?

We are sticking with the story....fulani herdsmen killed Mrs Funke Olakunrin.

You see the problem, no need talking again. You are on hearsay still. So let's keep it.

Don't be funny... The 25 year old woman kidnapped with her son on airport road Akure was by the use of cattle to block the main road... The cows blocked the way and hindered vehicular movement and they took the woman. It's another strategy depending on the atmosphere and environment at that time... I can give you the link.

Okay now there were cattles in that senerio so we can say they were herdsmen which is acceptable. On this issue, kidnapping has been existing in Edo regions way before these herdsmen so what is the reason of tagging them herdsmen and not the normal Edo people that commit these crimes

and i dont argue blindly either ,that you have not encountered them doesn't mean they are not there , i know two people including myself who have have experiences to share . you are talking about benin -ore and i am talking about benin-agbor and around that igueze area , now i suggest you talk about what you know and let other people say their own.

My sister we are not arguing, read the first message you quoted me and why I responded. I be full Edo/Delta guy. My dad from Edo and mum from Delta. I don waka these routes you are calling since I was 16 years old and I am over 30 now. I don't know how old you are or when you started plying those routes, but I just want you to know that these crimes we are talking about now has been existing on that route since I started plying that route at 16 and it's still happening till date. Herdsmen saga came up just recently and am not disputing the fact that they are now involved. My little submission is that these crimes are not necessarily committed by these herdsmen because a lot of people who have been in this crime for long in those routes are now using it as a cover to commit their crimes.

I go school for okada ooo. I no dey argue blindly madam. I do complete 5 years law degree for IUO. I pass that route wella. Way before then I have had lots of experience one that Benin Ore route personally. No be herdsmen do am, na our Edo people steady. Even I saw people bleeding and crying that I should help take some in my car to hospital but fear no let me carry anybody because I wise die. Maybe I for dey police station till now say na me and my members dey try escape.
I have done an unusual complete 180 degree u turn on that same express before, just immediately a God is good bus did that same turn we just knew there was an attack. We closed the highway for good one hour, till police declared the road open and we had to move seeing the terrible attack on a luxurious bus. These are just the few I can say because I can write a full book about Benin Ore road. There is a place I always pray to pass successfully and every single time I pass there, immediately on my steering I pray and give God thanks. Abeg no let me talk too much. Believe what you believe but pray never to have such an experience where you see its your own people doing it but people will criticize you for speaking the truth and point fingers elsewhere.

When people were shouting that herdsmen are kidnapping and killing people along benin-ore road what have you do to it.

Because most of the cases are not herdsmen but the people of those communities. check my comments about this in other threads. I stated this same thing way before this Tinubu statement came up. But many Nigerians are too dull to think deep into the issue on ground and find comfort in accusing herdsmen.

This is exactly what I have been asking on this forum today. I know people personally from Edo state that are still in prison today for kidnapping. These crime has been in Edo state since before herdsmen saga so why is it now they are tagging these crimes to herdsmen if not just to create a problem in Nigeria.

@1st bolded, so herdsmen MUST be SEEN with their cows in action,in a crime area/scene for people to ascertain their culpability in all their criminal activities, huh?
lzaa immhotep bastardmod adeibeku, have guys ever seen such a bovine analysis and conclusions before?!?!
I mean, whaddahell is this kinda post!!!
from which part of your organs do you process your thoughts, from on top or from under?

@2nd bolded,NEVER!!! You ain't Edo. Awaaa!!
cos if you were Edo you would know about the lady that was raped and killed by fulanis at this same area, close to Okada some weeks back.
or you wanna claim ignorance or deny it cos "they weren't seen with their cows?!"

all the same if you,by mistake, are Edo,then, otemwen, uhundan n'okhua ye khinundecided

peeps,I'm watching Kay Kay on tv,why's that guy's beat sounding like RunTown's?!

who ever you are, don't ever in your life tell someone he not not from his tribe because of your own reasoning. The okada you are talking about is were I schooled and when I mentioned I know that route and crime I was not speaking out of sentiment. And if you are wise I never said anything like herdsmen don't have issues in those areas like the incident you are talking about even if am not very aware of that one, but were you there to confirm that it was actually a herdsman that committed the crime.

Now for the first bolded you quoted me, if you call someone a herdsman, what is the definition of a herdsman? If someone commits a crime with the herds of his cattles in that senerio, what makes you tag him a herdsman when the name alone only befits someone who carries cattle around. If you say he is someone known as a herdsman, then that's logical but they were masked so how was it possible to identify them as herdsmen.
I know a lot of crimes in that route since ages that were not herdsmen and those crimes are still there till date so why and how is it confirmed that they were herdsmen.

It's a very simple logical question I have asked you and if you can't give a very simple logical answer then guy go huge the nearest transformer.

As a matter of fact I know the story of the lady you just spoke about which made some people kill a herdsman or so. This is thesame stupid thing am talking about, the person they killed wasn't even a part of what happened to the lady. Now was that justice served? If all the herdsman in Edo are killed, will that stop this same crime that has been existing before the herdsmen came?

I don't think you are any different from the ignorant masses, herds men don't move with cow when they are operating?

Stop doing ITK tongue

Don't be ignorant mr man. Define a herdsman and the true meaning of that word. If you didn't see cow, why calling him a herdsman which truly define the word. Now take that word off and put him in your senerio where he left his cows somewhere to commit a crime, without those cows with him, would you refer to him or identify him as a herdsman? Simple logic.
Now masked men committed a crime without cattles or identity. So my question is how were they identified as herdsmen or Fulani in this whole senerio. If you can give clear details of how they were identified as herdsmen I will understand because if not, you are still talking like one very uneducated ignorant lazy youth roaming and making noise on social media.

How can you label a whole tribe for the alleged crime of a few? ‍♂️

Like I always say, there are more riffraffs on Nigeria's Social Media space, in suit and tie, than you have in the motor parks and garages in Nigeria combined.

Am telling you bro, it's really sad. And to see how people will just start commenting rubbish without even thinking deep is so painful. This is a route I know too well for violent crimes since ages ago and to just come out and tag one particular tribe is sad and now the people guilty of such crime will be walking free because the stupid media has put all attention on Fulani meanwhile it could still be this same politicians in these regions that must have arranged this with their indigenous tugs all because they know it will be pointed to Fulani.

What are you saying?
Fulani that wants to kidnap will move with cows, does that make sense?

It's like you don't know personally anyone that has been kidnapped before-- I know and they didn't have any cows, they just seized him and took him into the bush for weeks...at least I personally know two people that were kidnapped.

You better let's speak the truth and save ourselves, you don't know who the next person might be, except you use a helicopter!

You see people like you talk out of ignorance. Do I need to tell you I have been kidnapped before you know I don't need anyone to tell me what it feels like. For your information, kidnapping has been existing in Edo state and this regions way before these Fulani herdsmen started theirs and then it was our own people doing the kidnapping and high way attacks, not the Fulani. This is the reason these crimes are now on the rise because everyone are now pointing fingers to Fulani while those from those regions are now capitalizing on the fact that all fingers will point on Fulani direction.

They might not be herdsmen but they are fulani highway armed robber. If you have stay in the north and you travel often you will know about it. Fulani are really deadly group of people.

Bro I lived in Edo for years, I grew up in Edo and I am from Edo state. Fulani might be deadly but not in Edo state there are so many criminals as well. What you don't understand I am saying it that I know that route very well and I have had a lot of encounter on that route way before this Fulani herdsmen issues started arising and what I am saying is that till date those same crimes has not stopped but now it is tagged along Fulani issues. I can take out time to personally tell you alot of my experience on that road way before anyone could talk about Fulani herdsmen and in most cases some were caught, they still happen to be indigines of those communities.
Kidnapping and these sort of crime have long been existing in these regions before these herdsmen saga so I know what I am talking about.

You what makes them herdsmen? Why do you think they were herdsmen and not igbo or yoruba criminals or any other tribe? What is your reason for believing they were herdsmen that didn't carry cattles to battle field?
At least if you can answer this reasonably I would be able to see you are not one of the stupid and gullible Nigerians that don't think straight.

We're herdsmen crisis existing in year 2000 to 2010? But these particular kind of stuff has always been like an everyday news in that route since these years am up till now. They were not herdsmen doing these same crime then, so why is it now that they are herdsmen doing the same thing. Many foolish people who have no idea or physically experiences about certain places will definitely follow any news and say rubbish to defend it. If it was not a route I know very well I will keep my mouth shot, but the truth they say is always bitter.
Can you now please confirm they were herdsmen who left their cows somewhere to commit a crime that has always existed in that place for a long time?

One of the biggest problem I think Nigerian has is unnecessary conclusion and general stupidity of the masses.
Someone was killed which is very painful but out of another person's wicked intentions they tagged it as herdsmen just to create a problem and the masses just suddenly jumped into conclusion that they were herdsmen.
First of all herdsmen move with cows and have have not heard anything about cows in the senerio of the incident. Secondly they were masked, so how were they identified as herdsmen with their mask?

The stupidity aspect is how the masses decided to jump into conclusions to throw accusations in support of whoever first posted the news that they were herdsmen.

That particular route has always been known for criminal activities from time in memorial even before the arrival of herdsmen crisis. I studied in a private university in Edo state and know very well there were very peaceful herdsmen somewhere in the bushes of that community and they had their own settlements there. Where I am talking about still connects these route but there was always a high crime rate there which had nothing to do with herdsmen. But now these routes are tagged with herdsmen for thesame crime that has been existing in that place long before these herdsmen saga.

I am not a Fulani or related to one for saying the truth, am actually from Edo state and I know that route too well because I travelled that route regularly.

This Fulani herdsmen saga is now powered by some evil politicians to carry out evil dids and ensure it is tagged as herdsmen just to sabotage the PMB regime. Unfortunately it is affecting the innocent citizens of the country but the truth is that those seeking power by way of creating problems for the present government through this means do not really care about the citizens and who pays the price.

We should all be cautious of were these accusations will eventually lead to.

Can't they mobilize themselves to prevent throwing dirts carelessly in their own environment.

This is very sad and later everyone will be calling the government. How can responsible citizens stay and throw dirts in their own environment to the point of getting this bad. Here in Botswana, you can imagine anyone throw even a small wrap of sweet on the ground let alone throwing dirts that will accumulate to this point. This has nothing to do with their government but the sane thinking of the citizens themselves who love to keep their environment clean.

Ok. My advice is very brief. Forget all these fake church goers perspective. Date her, get her pregnant and if you see she is happy about the pregnancy, propose to her immediately and get married to her. Then you know you have got yourself a wife. But if she talks about aborting the baby then know you were about to enter the a marriage of hell but insist you are ready to take care of the child and you do not support any abortion. If she does it without your knowledge then be happy because you will not be guilty of anything. However I can bet that she will definitely accept the pregnancy and marry you.
