Dont wait for Yoruba or Hausa to bring it to you. . . they never will.  Step there and exert your right as co-owner of the nation.  If Yoruba say Yoruba, you tell him to sit his ass down.  If Hausa say babu, you tell him to go f_ck himself.  I am your third partner and without me you are nothing and without you I am nothing.  Together we own it.

Forget paracetamol thats old medicine, I got Oxycotin here for you.   grin

You know sometimes when we are talking about this ethnic issue. . . my heart breaks for the Igbos.  I swear to God.  It is certain words and phrases you guys put across that just get to my heart and awakens my sentiments.  Look at what you say here. . . "if u want igbo, pdp should have look for igboman  rather obj".

It is worth repeating that the tragedies and pains of the war are still alive, if not physically. . . then psychologically.  Ikey, we are going to start changing the use of words. . .  instead of saying  "if u want Igbo pdp should have looked for Igboman" . . . which is passive.  We will say "Igboman should have exerted interest and contested the pdp leadership". . . this is active.  It is not demanding and it is not pleading. . .it is straightforward exerting interest in what is rightfully Igbos.

I dont mean to be pugnacious but this is complete opata. . . . Ironsi abolished federalism and embraced unitarianism whilst the Aburi accord espoused federalism and shunned unitarianism. . . . equating them as answers to Nigerias problem is inane as they are complete opposites. . . . we must delineate the boundaries of Regional/Federal control if we are to progress as a nation, hence I am all in favour of the Aburi accord, but strongly opposed to Ironsis policies. . . . its quite a shame that Ojukwu did not see fit to apply the same principles of the Aburi accord to Biafra otherwise he would have had no problems with the minorities . . .
Thank you General Ironsi. . oops! I mean, Ibime grin

I have always been in favor of Aburi. It is wrong to say Ironsi did not have a progressive idea at the time. Retroactively, we see it as bad because of the timelines and the various experiences we have been through. His idea was lateral and consistent with the need for regional autonomy contained within a federal framework.
PoliticsRe: If The Yoruba( Omo Oduduwa) Ever Get Independence It Will Worse Than Biafra by NegroNtns(m): 9:57pm On Jul 13, 2009
Lmao. . . you should be glad that we hold the third equation in the federal arrangement. It means a lot. There is nothing for us to loot. The Federal govt distribute the allocations. We get what comes to us from the center. What comes to you is no different than what comes to us. Now, there could be mismanagement at the state level. . . thats a possibility. So your trouble need to be with your state legislators and governors. . . and not Yorubas. We don't accuse you of looting, do we? This is becaiuse we have a different way of governing in the West than you all do in the East. You see. . . this connects back to that approach I was talking about.

You need to identify the problem and isolate it for solution. . . instead of agitating at a whole ethnic group as the source of your problem. What responsibility do you have towards your own evolution? Your evolution does not rest on the Yorubas. If however you are looking for fraternity from the Yorubas as a unity of force against the North. . . then first your approach must change. You are accusing Yorubas and escalating your grievance against them but yet. . . you are surprised at their refusal to budge in your defense. Look in your own action and approach.

The problem is everyone is afraid to bid on us. We are a formidable nation, . adversaries are afraid of our plots.
PoliticsRe: If The Yoruba( Omo Oduduwa) Ever Get Independence It Will Worse Than Biafra by NegroNtns(m): 9:38pm On Jul 13, 2009
Thank you for that feedback.

Your problem is our problem. But your approach is yours alone, we will wash our hands off your aggressive approach to separation. Your people were the pacesetters immediately after independence and for about 5 years leading up to the war. Has any Igbo truthfully revisited to do root cause analysis on where you fell of the landscape of power? You owe that to yourself.

I have said many times here that negotiation will put you back in power. It may not give you separation but it will definitely put you back in the circle of power. You see other tribes keep their mouth shut and say nothing untill they are in power to unfold their plans. Not the Igbos. . . you all hoot and holler about what you are going to do once you get there and how you will get Biafra by force. That's your approach and thats whats impeding your advancement into power.

Let your smiles and silence precede you and then let your action follow once you are in. Some people call that deceitful. Well, siddon there and continue to be honest. Negotiate, . do not demand.

We don't tell the Hausas or the Igbos. . ."allow us to. . . " We determine what needs done and we execute it and apologise later if anybody is hurt by our action. We blaze the trail. . . we dont wait to be given permission to do what is in our right to do. Thats the difference.

PoliticsRe: Whats Ur Political Ideology? by NegroNtns(m): 8:55pm On Jul 13, 2009
You see. . . this is why I sometimes avoid certain discussions. Fatigued logic! You expect me to conform to line and stay within the box. I do not operate like that. I break the envelope and challenge the status quo. The expectation you have form is the same standard you have set for youself. . . it is evident that you are toeing the line with western standards and you are not at all open to new ideas about reformation and neither do you believe, I'm afraid to say but unapologetically so, that your views and understanding of social systems and human evolution is not expansive sufficiently to comprehend the ideas I am proposing. Your only way to deal with it is by concluding that I did not offer an ideology. . . really? Would you know one if it perched on your nose?

PoliticsRe: Whats Ur Political Ideology? by NegroNtns(m): 8:27pm On Jul 13, 2009
u did not answer my question. is ur philosophical new order for nigeria implementable in a democracy or military regime?
It is implementable in any kind of rulership - democratic, military, monarchy. . . name it.  It is not the rulership that makes the order, it is the philosophy in which the order exist and the mindset of the people is where that philosophy resides, not in the title of the throne or the office of the executive or the rank of the soldier.  You feel me?

if u dont subscribe to communism, capitalism or socialism, what then is ur ideology? whats it called? what does it entail?
I propose that we establish a think tank and then process all that through the channell.

All these people u mentioned have a different ideology. which of them reflected ur own ideology?
Move away from labels and titles and focus on the vision. . . the philosophical mindset.  Once you do that you will see that the dots connect between each and every one of those leaders and what I propose.

All I want to know is how the niger-deltans struggle and the massob crusade fits into ur ideology. I am not interested in who caused their problems.
Of course you are not because you are locked into labels and titles.  This is why the FG does not have a solution for their problem, because our leaders think the way you are doing now.  They are not putting a human face on the problem.  Labels and titles are cold ways of relating.  Philosophy opens up the true human warmth and the desire to rescue and preserve, this is innate in everyone of us but you see we strive in competition to show off our high IQ to one another and in the process we forget about the human element.

Look. . . we humans have pride.  We could be suffering in our soul but in public we put on a nice face.  We need a govt that can reach beyond the exterior face and touch the pain in the soul and heal it.  Call it what you may. . .liberalism, conservatism, democracy, communism. . .  I dont give a crap, just make this country bearable for all of us to live in and enjoy life and liberty.  That's a high call and demands a sense of touch. . . that's why we need a philosophical approach to governance.

You are a rare type SW. I like the way you maintain your marriage. . . that's what men desire. A woman that does not smother us but take time to nurture and groom her man. You are a nice wife and your husband is very lucky. Let me know if he start to act up, the whole NL will go kick his butt.

Tell him I say he is lucky and he better take care of you. grin
PoliticsRe: Whats Ur Political Ideology? by NegroNtns(m): 7:38pm On Jul 13, 2009
are ur ideas implementable in a democracy or not? a federal structure or not?

are u a democrat? are u a socialist, welfarist, capitalist or communist? which political leader has ever captured ur political beliefs and ideology?
ur position on secessionists (biafra) and the militants in the niger delta?
I am talking about a total new order for Nigeria. Forget all these borrowed philosophies on democracy and socialist and communist and all that nonsense. We need a think tank to formulate new ideas completely separate from all the failed ideas of the West. Their democracy is not working well for them as we have seen, neither is their socialism or communism. We need new philosophical thinking to propell our growth.

I dont know of recent history but I will say the combination of Buhari and Idiagbon, as well as Murtala Mohammed. I also love the vision of Ironsi, although his peers were not so blessed to see that far into the future. I love what Fashola is doing.

If Nigeria has a future then Biafra need to revisit Ironsi's vision and revive it. If Nigeria does not have a future then Biafra need to revisit the Aburi accord and see what they can recover from it and use that to initiate a set of protocols for a conciliatory separation.

The militants in Delta is the outcome of bad leadership by Nigerian Presidents. Before MEND the Deltans had spent years in talks with the government. It ended in KS Wiwa's execution. The Deltans have lost trust in their FG and the escalation we see now is a resolve by these people with a choice to fight to death than to live under the terms of their adversaries. It is a necessary struggle and an inevitable one given that leadership at the central govt is insensitive to their humanity.

PoliticsRe: Whats Ur Political Ideology? by NegroNtns(m): 6:39pm On Jul 13, 2009
Conservative.

I believe Nigeria should fold into a cocoon and transform internally. It might take 30yrs to complete the growth but when we break out of the shell our destiny will be better defined and promising to readily take on global challenges.

Right now we are only living through the motions, we are not active participants in worldly affairs at all. Thats not good.
