Thank you for recognising our position as top dawg! "Yoruba lager", the beer of champions!! grin grin
FoodRe: Do Nigerians Eat Fufu? by NegroNtns(m): 12:52am On Dec 25, 2011
Its not a staple for Yoruba but its common in our households, just as tuwo is not our staple but is common.  Fufu is made of fermented cassava and I believe it goes through a filtering system similar to the one for making ogi from fermented corn.

Fermentation is purposeful to break down the active minerals sufficiently that when consumed the digestive system is able to obtain the nourishment easily.

lol. . . .except that we are not confused about the war like the MBs are! You, will be lamenting your regrets for heading into Md-West in error of judgement. If you had not, Yoruba would not have touched you. Our fathers who fought in the war owed us, their children, the moral justification for defending the land. They are not sorry for it, we are grateful for it and we shall demolish you again if the events were to repeat itself today so that the legacy of homeland defense, which has been on the Oduduwaland and preserved for centuries, shall not be undone in our lifetime.
PoliticsRe: Gov. Fashola Made A Laughing Stock Of Lagos In Canada by NegroNtns(m): 12:26am On Dec 25, 2011
Look at the Yoruba protect their own like lemmings.

I see no difference between them and the aboki.
Eze, me chionu! angry Why are you and your ibo brethrens ungrateful? Looking left and right for vulnerabilities to exploit. Fashola is far better than all Eastern govs put together. . . . . you all leave the guy alone, we love him! We love all our Governors in West.
PoliticsRe: Gov. Fashola Made A Laughing Stock Of Lagos In Canada by NegroNtns(m): 12:22am On Dec 25, 2011
I gave several analogies on this -- will not repeat myself -- not even for you
Oh, dear Kobo, now I'm heartbroken. . . . .  cry   You dont love me anymore. . . .  cry cry cry  You wont even spend an extra two hours to replay what I missed in your story. . . .   cry cry cry cry cry cry

If I was governor of Ohio or Chicago, wherever you are,  I will send for state patrol to march you downriver to Mississippi.   grin
PoliticsRe: How The North Tricked Middle Belt To Fight Igbo by NegroNtns(m): 12:14am On Dec 25, 2011
Ijaw and Middle Belt are regretting that they fought the war.

Whose next. . . The Yoruba?
what an insult! angry Please, keep us out of your nonsense if nothing better for you to say. You understand me? cool
PoliticsRe: Gov. Fashola Made A Laughing Stock Of Lagos In Canada by NegroNtns(m): 12:08am On Dec 25, 2011
This is first time we will have such infrastructure operating in Nigeria.  Rather than buying a 2012 model benz for the 17yr old new driver in the family, it makes sense, plenty of sense to pass down the family"s 1984 V boot mercedes to the young teenager.  It will provide an experimental and developmental challenge from which he/she can mature into trendy models of Mercedes Benz.

Kobo start talking like you got some sense, instead of just arguing blindly!    cheesy
PoliticsRe: How The North Tricked Middle Belt To Fight Igbo by NegroNtns(m): 11:43pm On Dec 24, 2011
I may have misread the OP, but I don't see where they are asking Igbos for anything
ekt, self-centerdness blocks their vision.   Listen to what chima said above you. . . . . makes me laugh, lol, that igbo is asking middle belt to come to Easterners for political consultation.   Ibo is the least politically savvy people in Nigeria.

You know guys, I have a flag that goes off anytime someone uses the keyword "Yoruba". This topic iyself has nothing to do with West but someone may have used the word in passing. I hope you guys find a common ground in that middle belt directionm but limit it to that.

Onlytruth, grapevine told me you have a title, that you were given some title. Is this true?
PoliticsRe: We ‘ll Continue To Wage War Against Govt Untill…boko Haram Spokesman by NegroNtns(m): 10:23pm On Dec 24, 2011
boko haram has achieved so much because of complicity of some northern security personnel
well, of course! The po;itical aspiration of Northern muslims had always been to camp with the IOC. Boko's ideology for an Islamically independent region harmonizes well with that aspiration. So even if they detest the militancy of Boko on one hand, they are sympathetic to its political call on the other, therefore their lips are sealed against voicing too much criticism aginst Boko, not because they fear its terror but because they "NEED" its presence and volatility.
PoliticsRe: We ‘ll Continue To Wage War Against Govt Untill…boko Haram Spokesman by NegroNtns(m): 10:02pm On Dec 24, 2011
UN headquarters in the capital Abuja
This is one reason I dont post link or sources in NL. The sources we depend to give us accurate and error free reporting are professionally incompetent.

@op, please proof-read information in future before you post. "There is no UN HQ in Nigeria".

On the post itself, BOKO said they want divorce from secular government, . . . . . that's a political grievance statement. They are fighying on two fronts - political front and military front.

So aside from his disjointed response to their military assault, how is the President taking them on their political declaration?
CultureRe: Culture And Igbo Business Practices! by NegroNtns(m): 6:27pm On Dec 22, 2011
How you forget so quick to add the Chief in front of Negro, you rascal!!    cheesy cheesy

Does marriage depreciate Ify's gorgeousness?   Women generally should be apopreciated for their beauty, married or single. . . . so I dont know the purpose of throwing her "marriage" in it.

Besides, you still failed to properly understand the dynamics of a market/business relationship.  The entrepreneur is putting forward a energy, a manifest when he enters into a market.  The market is a matrix. . . it can accept and bring fruition out of the energy or it can re_tard and kill the energy from growing.  So where success resulted from the energy, you cannot praise the entrepreneur alone without also acknowledging the  benevolent value of the matrix.   Whether that matrix is located in Aba, Enugu, Ondo, Ibadan, Kaduna, Zaria, London, Tokyo, New York is immaterial. . . . . because for everyone of these places, there are also locations in which the entrepreneurship failed to plant successfully and therefore we do not attribute the failure to the entrepreneur but solely to the bad location or market.

Do you deny this??

CultureRe: Culture And Igbo Business Practices! by NegroNtns(m): 12:15am On Dec 22, 2011
What a fool! what a tree-top-hopping baboon!! what a mono-balled homosapien!!!

Mumu, I can read and I saw that was your statement.

First, let's clear something off the ground. . . . in fact I tell you what, forget about it. First of all, onye ochi for replying and telling me you wrote the statement. Then second. . . next time when you address you make certain you prefix "CHIEF" in front of my name. There will be consequences and repercussions and lamenting if your a s s dare call me Negro without prefixing Chief in front. Do you hear me? Ewu!

Now, let's talk about your response. If Anambra market is open and promoting to Igbo business, if Aba is welcoming and embracing of Igbo business, if Umuahia endorses and encourages Igbo business, if Ughelli is a buoyant platform for Igbo business, then. . . . . . .the recognition of the success and the acknowledgment of the expansion and ingenuity of Igbo entrepreneurship is equally borne by these many market localities.

Now, ragamuffin, tu comprehend? Replace umuhaia, aba, onitcha and put lagos, kaduna, kano. . . the statement and argument is globally valid.

Which of my assertions in that regard, seconded by both Chinenyen and the gorgeous Ify, did you find too complex to sink down?? Remeber to address me as Chief in your response, you rascal!! angry angry

You all should have your fun. . . . . we are waiting, out of respect for the dead, for Ojukwu body to enter ground before we reveal to you what is truly going on in Nigeria.   You are vulnerable and you don't even smell it.
PoliticsRe: From Yoruba Marginalisation To Oduduwa Nation by NegroNtns(m): 11:46pm On Dec 21, 2011
It is possible for us to discuss without including anything vitriolic.
A true Yoruba individual displays iwa pele and iwa rere.
Amor4ce,  a true Yoruba individual first of all must evaluate the ability of the other person to acknowledge "iwa pele" and reciprocate it.   Ibo does not know what iwa pele is.   They wake their own father from sleep with a kick, why you think we call them okoro?   iwa pele and iwa rere is a foreign term in their psyche.  We relate with them with "iwa jagidi-jagan and iwa apanle" .   They are blind, deaf, and dumb to iwa pele!

CultureRe: The True Identity Of The Yoruba People by NegroNtns(m): 8:39pm On Dec 21, 2011
With regard to Bishop Crowther, he simply changed the name Yarriba into Yoruba. The name Yarriba was an INVENTION of the European Explorers so there is NOTHING ACCURATE about it. Crowther took an inaccurate name, polished it up and served it as the name for million so people in West Africa. Thus turning the situation from bad to worse. Thanks to Crowther, most of the peoples' history was completely WIPED OUT.
INVENTION of the Europeanshuh Can you please clarify.
PoliticsRe: From Yoruba Marginalisation To Oduduwa Nation by NegroNtns(m): 5:36pm On Dec 21, 2011
I wonder what exactly our Yoruba brothers want from this federation. We know what the Igbos have always wanted. same with the Northerners and the minorities in the Niger Delta but the SW are doing under G. I thought before the april election you guys were saying that you don't need any federal presence as long as the south-west with the help of ACN will move the SW forward. Why are you now shouting marginalization when ACN is the ruling party in the SW. You should be confronting Tinubu and not GEJ. GEJ doesn't owe you sh1t. If anybody is marginalized, it's the Igbos but they are fighting very hard to regain their rightful position. You're now threathening the federation with secession like it's that easy. Remember you joined the Northerners to fight the Igbos from 1967 to 1970. Any group that harbours the thought of secession will be severely dealt with. Nonsense
abracadabra!!! grin grin Its not just Yoruba language and rituals that are crypted, our politics is likewise a veiled affair!!

You all should reflect deeply about what Ify said: it dovetails directly into what I asserted. So does Chinenye's response.

Chineke me chionu! Onye ochi!

you keep beating your chest on Igbo enterprise but failed to see that you are at the mercy of your host market. Your entrepreunarial spread is not an ideal or a philosophical planting but rather an outcrop of the need to survive. You are feeding in the hands of Yoruba and Hausa people. When they chase you in North, what happens to your entrepreneurial bravado? You relocate it to West. The day is coming when both North and West will chase you, then what will you do with that entrepreneur shiyyt, take it to dry East?

If you are truly creative and entreprenurial this is time to establish a Eastern trade post matching in scale and broadness and as a alternative to draw the tribal manpower and resources back to your homeland.

You are no match for the Ijebus, the Ekitis, the Hausas when it comes to mercantile and exchanges. That's old money and knowledge when it comes to intra continental trading and guess what. . . . . they operated from their homebase, not from another man's land.
