cocoa, start by eradicating osu caste.  that will be a good start. . . learn from Yoruba why a non-prejudiced marriage is good for building social inter-relations.  After that come and lean islam and re-learn christianity from us.

cocoa, take that grievance to your brother that authored the article. He seems to disagree with you.
PoliticsRe: To My Boko Haram And Northern Brothers, Let Us Learn From The Yoruba. by NegroNtns(m): 6:45am On Dec 27, 2011
Yoruba is a model of GOD worship for both Islam and Christianity in Nigeria because of Ifa.  The father of Christianity and Islam, Abraham himself practiced Ifa.  So our consciousness is already soaked and attuned to GOD-consciousness.

We inter-marry amongst ourselves because we dont believe in caste system like you in iboland.  We dont have osu slaves that are forbidden to marry free blood.  We dont have that nonsense!  The author should have included that as well as another lesson ibo should learn from Yoruba.

Shut Up!! see your brothers shedding alligator tears for Florida. At the time of the surrender, Efiong believed that the situation was hopeless and that prolonging the conflict would have led only to the further destruction and starvation of the people of Biafra.
This guy Effiong is who Biafra should be worshipping. Listen to his wisdom in this quote. Ibo no sabi politics. . . in the arena of politics you all are deadbrain. See and follow example of Calabar man to see what savvy people do when cornered and all options for self-defense are gone. You don't continue a lost fight and you dont turn your back and flee. . . no, you stay and negotiate your preservation.

Dayo, I agree, Effiong is the true warrior and his clan people ought to raise their head high in pride. Ojukwu was. . . . oh shyyt, is he buried yet before I complete this sentence? Yeye people, go put that guy in ground so I can speak.

PoliticsRe: Islamic Scholars Condemn Xmas Day Bombings by NegroNtns(m): 4:16am On Dec 27, 2011
In an Hadith, it was revealed that the Prophet Muhammad, (SAW) would join the funeral procession of a deceased muslim to the cemetry.  If it was a Christian or a Jew, he would stop all activities and commanded his followers to stand with him in respect as the funeral passed through with the deceased.

This is a good response and I think Next Friday at Jumaat, it will be nice followup for the different mosques to give prayer service to the souls of the victims of this carnage.
CultureNew Topic For 2012 - Sokoto. by NegroNtns(op): 4:07am On Dec 27, 2011
Welcome to the post.

There is a series on Yoruba history and roots and has been ongoing now for about two years. It was started on the simple question of teaching through dialogue the history, customs, arts, rituals and religion of the Yorubas. So far a lot of ground has been covered and many people have benefitted from learning in here knowledge that they could not have found or acquired anywhere else. There was strong concern about exercising care and caution, about how the message will be disseminated and protected against egotistic interests. Most of the approach has been gentle and keeping in-step with what the audience is ready to absorb. We drew border lines on what is safe for public consumption and what is better left in the secret vaults, hidden from public gaze. When it seems a revelation is too shocking and brings a backlash, we back off. There has also been plenty individual contributors who are suddenly empowered and energized to join in and do the research and revelation on their own. Your contributions are most appreciated and we send you a sincere "Thank You" Anonymous, Amor4ce, Physics Thank You guys. Thanks also to many others who antagonized the efforts and unknowingly incited us to reveal even more at far deeper level than originally intended.

Our pace is one knowledge area per year, lol! wink Over the past two years we covered the person of Lamurudu, his roots and people and the ultimate migration from the East to Yorubaland and as well shared on the established Seven States and what they stood for. We attempted to reveal certain secrets contained in Genesis in the Bible and do a side by side with revelations in Ifa Corpus and share with you the monotheism of Ifa religion as well prove that Noah and Abraham practiced Ifa. That effort could not be completed without unveiling certain esoteric aspects of the Abrahamic faiths - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - which at this time are best left alone. So for next year we have a new topic and ground to cover. We want to see where else the Yoruba footprint can be found outside the mainstream Yoruba commonwealth. Our first stop is Sokoto.

Not to brag, when I was in North, my sister and I attended different schools but we both were in attendance with royal bloods. We fraternered together, they were welcome in our house and we were no strangers in their homes. From there I learnt a lot about Arewa, the Caliphate and the Emirates. I also gained a lot of knowledge about Kanem.

In case some of you are wondering why I am bringing this topic into discussion now, it's because your mind is ripened by political events in the country and you will not be shocked by this discussion and what it would reveal.

Is there any of you that know that the Sultans in Sokoto understand and speak Yoruba and do you know why they speak Yoruba? Share what you know with us. wink
PoliticsRe: Secession - Option B - Creation Of Southern Nigerian State by NegroNtns(m): 2:34am On Dec 27, 2011
Suggesting a first split into North-South before a second split into East-West infer that the individual East, West region cannot independently resolve the dividion without the assist of the other. It also gives the appearance that the North is a formidable force and in addition to the cooperative of the two, East and West, a third and external party is also needed to supervise the division and security.

Am I correct, is this what you intended?
PoliticsRe: Why President Goodluck Jonathan Is To Blame For The Insecurity In Nigeria by NegroNtns(m): 2:24am On Dec 27, 2011
@post,

If GEJ was a Northerner, going by his statements alone we would have concluded that he works for Boko. But because he is a Southerner and a Christian, we are reluctant to make the link or to suspect the possibility.

Let me divert a little bit and go to another story on terrorism. , . . does anyone in here know how and why America gained access to Osama's whereabout and was then able to ambush and kill him? Most people think American intelligence sniffed Osama out. Wrong! Who blew the cover on Osama and why?

A similar dynamics is playing out here between GEJ and North, . . .excuse me, Arewa!
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Spokeman - Nigeria Belongs To ALLAH by NegroNtns(m): 2:07am On Dec 27, 2011
In saying Allah, boko is using the original designation for the creator of the world.

If you were blessed to learn the Bible in its original Aramaic, you will be like boko haram calling on Allah as well. Do you not know this?
PoliticsRe: Secession - Option B - Creation Of Southern Nigerian State by NegroNtns(m): 2:00am On Dec 27, 2011
about which part? I will be wrong to say I know what future holds. I cannot contest your claim that the worse is yet to come but I am not sure that lumping Yoruba with all those other people you mentioned reverses the situation.

PoliticsRe: Secession - Option B - Creation Of Southern Nigerian State by NegroNtns(m): 1:49am On Dec 27, 2011
Shango, but isn't this a domestic problem we are talking about? What is the need to involve UN? There is no problem affecting West that OPC cannot resolve at moment. . . . I dont know about future events, but at moment, bruh, trust me. . . . OPC is on it!

I dont know how about East or anywhere else, maybe they need UN but no, we dont need UN in West. Beyond Nigeria, Yorubaland stands on its own. . . no more amalgamation.

PoliticsRe: Secession - Option B - Creation Of Southern Nigerian State by NegroNtns(m): 1:32am On Dec 27, 2011
A proposal to form a State consisting of a massive Christian block, a tolerant Polity and Society toward the more progressive Muslims
of the South and traditional religions.

It would range from Lagos and the Benin Republic border in the West to the Cameroon border in the East. It would also extend to
parts of Kwara in the North and spread across parts of the Middle Belt up to Jos.
Are you speaking for OPC or for yourself? Nothing happens in Yorubaland outside a political consultation and consensus reached first amongst the commonwealth and agreed to by our human rights group, OPC.

I really dont know wtf you keeping him frozen this long for. . . . .hurry up and put him in the soil.
PoliticsRe: What To Do About Goodluck Jonathan by NegroNtns(m): 1:19am On Dec 27, 2011
Jonathan may be a dunce when it comes to wiping Boko out but he ain't stupid and definitely not going to be a walk over to kick him out of office with the kind of initiatives you are proposing Evil. You hear me? Come up with a better plan that does not include "if we fail".
PoliticsRe: What To Do About Goodluck Jonathan by NegroNtns(m): 1:16am On Dec 27, 2011
My plan is to attempt to recall Jonathan and Sambo. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that to do so, you have to collect a certain number of signatures on a recall petition to force INEC to hold a referendum. If you can get >50% of the vote in that, then Jonathan ceases to be president. The senate president would become acting president and will have to organize a byelection within 90 days like someone mentioned above.

There's never been a better time to do this. Practically everybody is sick and tired of Jonathan and his party. If we succeed, we could have a new, non-PDP president by the middle of next year. If we fail, at least the politicians will have learnt that the ordinary Nigerians are to be feared and respected.

They will never try to pull a stunt like removing subsidy while spending billions on food and jumbo salaries again.

I'm going to talk to my lawyer friends tomorrow to find out what is needed.
Wooo, . . . dude, slow down!!! IF we fail huh

Kobo, will you for GOD's sake stop encouraging this guy's impulsiveness? You want to get him and a bunch of his supporters killed?
PoliticsRe: How The North Tricked Middle Belt To Fight Igbo by NegroNtns(m): 1:08am On Dec 27, 2011
@Last bolded, why are you even obsessing over my new title?
Does it change anything?
I have many bones to pick with you but first lets talk about this title. So you contested for a title and won, right? Fools like Ezeuche, AndreUweh, Ngodigha "the brute", igbo boy, chyz and the rest of them made you an Eze of Igbo people on NL, is that right? . . . and you accepted it, eh? angry
PoliticsRe: Azazi:church Was Bombed Out Of Frustration By Boko Haram Wtf Is This man On? by NegroNtns(m): 8:57pm On Dec 26, 2011
you see, oyb, nigerian elites borrow phrases from the western media spin book to address situation on ground.  they dont believe in their own words but they are coached by pr handlers that this is what works for the national psyche.

its sad but i hope gej's ineptitude will not win sympathisers for boko's claim that western education is a waste.
PoliticsRe: How The North Tricked Middle Belt To Fight Igbo by NegroNtns(m): 8:49pm On Dec 26, 2011
Personally, I don't think that any serious Easterner, mid-westerner or even middle belter, is looking westwards for anything. We are occupied with our own plans. The time for talk would soon be over.
oh no, i must have missed this one. has biafra apologized for desecrating midwestern land yet? i keep saying this, ibos are politically inept, always putting the cart before the horse. the savvy thing to do is first apologize to midwesterners, then you seek their alliance.

besides, onlytruth, i hear you have a title now. is this true?
PoliticsRe: What To Do About Goodluck Jonathan by NegroNtns(m): 8:28pm On Dec 26, 2011
Evil,

good topic!

One big problem we're facing is that even if we were able to get rid of GEJ, there are no obvious candidates to replace him.
I like oyb's response. We should stop replacing problem with problem. Everyone is blaming the President but really our voice is aggregated in the House of Reps and we must demand action from bottom up. We need to light fire under HoR and create a bottom up accountability and sensitivity.

RomanceRe: Were Women More Virtuous "back In The Days"? by NegroNtns(m): 8:07pm On Dec 26, 2011
Women are still virtous even today. What we detest in our women is onlly a reflection of our own immorality and perversion for their bodies. We demand it, they supply it! We can influence the manner in which the exchange occur simply by modifying our own approach and approval. Women are fine, men are just bad and hell bent on staying bad! grin
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Spokeman - Nigeria Belongs To ALLAH by NegroNtns(m): 7:59pm On Dec 26, 2011
If we open the original gospel and read it we will find that even the scribes and Jesus  believed in Allah.

Jesus did not write but he preached and the scribes wrote their witnessings of his traditions.  Jesus and the cribes did not know the word GOD because they did not speak the language in which the Bible was ultimately rendered and preached to Nigerian Christians.  If you had been taught the Bible in its original Aramaic language you would have come to realize the meaning of Allah.  If you do not believe in Allah then you do not believe in Jesus preach about the Father in heaven and you are only following in the teachings of Romans scribes, and not in that of the Aramean and Jewish scribes.  You are as ignorant of your Christian religion as the author of this Boko statement is of Islam.
RomanceRe: Do Women Really Love Tall Guys? by NegroNtns(m): 7:41pm On Dec 26, 2011
At the end of the day, evolution does a pretty good job of weeding out the idiots. A girl that's foolish enough to marry a guy only because of his height deserves whatever she gets. Most girls are smarter than that. Height is probably #3 or #4 on the list (as long as he isn't a midget). Who wants to marry a tall monster that'll beat her to death? LOL
Moremi, ah, thank you o! I dont know why people are obsessed with height? GOD created us all in diversity. Its a good thing your friend recognised that height is not everything and im glad she is happily married.

Girls beware, most of the guys here talking about their 6' are short- they are either at average height or below. A 5'7 gets on internet and become 6'7. . wth!

Moremi, o se o jare!

ekt said he does not believe in Allah, he never said nobody else can believe in Allah. A simple expression of free will! so, how did it explode to all these back and forth accusations and blood letting?

Can you all stop your riot? grin
