I dont think so because there are cases people get denied after medicals this cud b as a result of any flaw from the medical result or any deficiency discovered from applicants documentation later on, however if an applicant is sent medical mail it shows a high likelihood of approval all things being equal.
Do your medical & pray for a positive outcome.

I have reviewed your application and documents you submitted in its support. Subsection 11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act provides that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the Regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act.
I have concerns that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by section 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, which states:
16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.

On the current application form, you indicate that you have never been refused any kind of visa, admission, or been ordered to leave Canada or any other country. According to information in our records, you were refused a visa to the United States in 2016.
Please note that if it is found that you have engaged in misrepresentation in submitting your application, you may be found to be inadmissible under section 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. A finding of such inadmissibility would render you inadmissible to Canada for a period of five years according to section 40(2)(a):
40(1) A permanent resident or a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation (a) for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act

40(2) The following provisions govern subsection (1): (a) the permanent resident or the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of five years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1) or, in the case of determination in Canada, the date the removal order is enforced.
I would like to give you an opportunity to respond to this information. I will afford you fifteen (15) days from the date of this letter to make any representations in this regard. Please use the address noted on this letter for all correspondence, and clearly indicate your file number. If you do not respond to this request within the time outlined above, your application will be assessed based on the information available, which will likely result in a refusal. Madam, let me offer some piece of advice here. First post! The medical condition of your child may be a reason for visa refusal. There are certain conditions that if found exist on kids, will hinder their parents from getting into Canada(Bear in mind you will do Medicals with everyone accompanying you in your visa application). Eg Autism, Down Syndrome and stuffs like that. So please be properly guided! No hiding place for any medical condition , the examining physician will report all . I wish you luck.

My sincere appreciation goes to God for sending Horpsy5 to me in mid-December.

She came to me, via this platform, seeking help to get supervisor(s). I told her my strategy of bombarding all professor in my field of interest with well drafted email, no matter the school or location, so long it is masters.

In an attempt to provide her with list of some potential universities in her field, I realised I haven't emailed any Prof in Calgary. Immediately, I sent an email with my well drafted research proposal to about 4 profs in my area of interest there, telling them I need supervisor for the research. Amazingly, I got two yes in less than 24hrs.

I didn't know what instrument she will be then, but now I know, cos UofToronto rejected me, and I just received an email from my Uvic prof that my first class GP is too low for funding, according to their committee, and her research funding application is yet to be successful, as such, she advised I postponed my Canada study intention due to high cost of study and living. Not knowing God don click am elsewhere.

Once again, I appreciate God, Horpsy5, and theSoj for my Calgary application. God bless you both.

To Horpsy5: Please don't give up on your dream. It may take years, but keep the faith high and be persistence.

To all admission decision waiters: God will make a way, expect the best. It may tarry, but fight and believe it will happen.

To all prospective applicant: Always have a backup plan with good application documents. Seek opinions from others and endeavor to help one another.

My Calgary application from the beginning till now thaught me to help others on this forum. I am not a fan of it cos it can very be distracting to your personal plans.

I have applied to University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina. I believe my application to Usask was rejected because one out of my three referees didn't send his recommendation, and even the other two sent theirs' after the deadline. now I am left with just URegina, and I have a number of Questions.

1. How long does it take to secure admission at URegina.

2. Can I start visa processing with a conditional offer of admission.

3. Which other affordable schools are open for admission for MSc. Computer Science.

4. Do I still need to mail my Referees' Recommendation letters through currier to Regina, despite the fact that my referees have sent the recommendations through their official mails.

Good Evening everyone, thank you for all the info as regards study in Canada. am new on this thread and would like to make the below clarifications.

I recently applied to a uni to study supply chain mgt (I have over 5years experience as an admin officer ). I have been given a student number but they are yet to get my transcript and English as a medium ( I have applied for this is my uni ). These are my questions below please
1) Is IELTS compulsory? I am hoping to use just English as a medium as Nigeria is an English speaking country.
2) I will be 33 this year before the fall session and am applying for a post graduate certificate, does this matter?
3) I have a little over 5 years experience, is this an advantage.
4) I will be sponsoring myself and partly my cousin who stays in Ontario, his married and has a good job. is this okay?
5) I hope to get a study leave letter from my office but they will not be sponsoring me. is this also okay? as we are allowed to study leave after 5years.
6) I will have 5m after paying for my first semester tuition fee and will not be needing accommodation as I will stay with my cousin, is the money okay to convince the consular that I wont be a liability to their country.
7) is it compulsory to include my parents in the documentation even if they are not able to sponsor me but to show that I have family ties?
I do pray to get my admission letter before the end of march and apply in April, how long does the process take as my session starts in Sept
9) Most importantly I have a 10year uk ban due to a forged document (a) how do I include that and still prove am worthy of the study permit (b) does this affect their decision (c) what strong documents do I need show to over shadow all this. please note that I had written to the uk embassy stating I didn't know the documents were forged as I had used an agent then.
10) can I show money from two accounts, my dorm and naira?

I apologise if I have asked too many questions however your answers will mean a lot and will guide me accordingly.

yeah, ive read through the advice given. i just had to quote him on the spot. Very surprised one will be confused about doing something illegal and blaming it on agent. The same good advice that was proffered to him here, is the similar kind of advice (although negative and silly) is what the agent gave him...did the agent go and swear court affidavit for him, is his bro aware of what hes doing...if yes...i doubt any advise given to him will work.....before our 17 weeks becomes 24

My spoursor doesn't bear the same name with me, and I only submitted the financial declaration given to me by qubec,which she sigh it,and also her pay slips,employment letter,tax, account Declaration from her bank, no addition document like asset or anything. And for my own document just what they ask for,no weac or birth certificate or transcript. And till now I haven't hear from them,pls what is my hope

I saw yesterday dat a lot went down here.i just want to state some things I observe in my application dat works and it can help others too.
1. My undergraduate studies was in Production engineering(Industrial and manufacturing), during my nysc....I worked as a physics,maths and basic tech teacher in both private and govt school in ogbomoso,oyo state. after that I got my first job also in a school...Hopebay college in mazamaza lagos as Physics and Basic Technology teacher for like 4months...I processed to a Graduate Teacher Training Prog, for 3month where I was opportuned to start learning Lego Robotics from d scratch..... while on the training, I got a job with LM Ericsson as Front office Engineer...I worked for like 4months doing that job and the teacher training simultaneously until I got a full offer to work in that international school as 1. Design and Technology teacher. 2. Auto-mechanics teacher and as a STEM(science technology engineering and maths) instructors from 2014 till date.
The above statement was used like that in my SOP to explain to the VO how my UG,work experience are related to what am going for in canada. I also emphasise on my SOP my Research interest....not just stating that am going for Msc in Mechanical eng. I told VO on the SOP that my research interest is Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics....mind you all the documents I have relating to robotics and some of my lesson plans on design and tech was also submitted as documents to the embassy. All dis matters a lot when applying for TRV.

2. There was a form I filled during my medicals at consultant pratice that stated you fill your Name,marital status, Job title, email,phone no and signature.....I was told by the doctor maybe mistakenly that they also submit a copy of that form to CIC. now on that form you have to be sincere with the info you filled so that it correlate with what you have filled in the IMM1294E form....am not sure thou jut my opinion.

3. I can't remember anything now but if I recall some tips that I fill really helps I will post. But please my people if your sponsor has dependants and he or she wanna sponsor you to canada....mehn I will say you need to think deep and make sure you do your maths well especially when the sponsor is not father or mother.

He submitted over 50+ documents and CIC didn't return any.

Not true. I know someone that got hers recently without them returning the supporting documents. Just the refusal letter and her passport.
It could be CIC new style for 2017 or maybe, they don't want applicants to just submit same documents for a reapplication without cross-checking or updating the ones needing updates. #mythoughts.

The situation is very dicey, we almost have the same profile but its just opposite of yours.
I have two years Diploma in mass communication, having been working with a media outfit for over 2years, I decided to go for UG program in political science, wrote a very detailed SOP. Bro I was denied two consecutive time based on purpose of visit I won't advise you to change your course of study, why not apply for journalism it will make your TRV more easier.

It's a full scholarship but will only tak effect wen landed in Canada. D agency sent my CIC letter to it's Immigration lawyer & d lawyer replied that since they did not check 2yrs or 5yrs ban that they did not ban m. He also advised that I should wait till next year b4 reapplying. I want to say a very big thanks to all of u cos u gave me hope.

I agree with you bro. Another very important thing for @BRANDYAK to put into consideration is the time frame between when he finished his undergrad and now.

If the gap is wide, justifiable reasons must be evident in his application that will warrant a higher degree. The key thing to always note in all is, Let your next choice of program reflect your most dominant activity or most recent activities. If it's work experience, it most be sufficient enough to propel more knowledge and skils in form of a higher degree.

4 years in pursuant of a bachelor degree is sufficient for a higher degree but it should have been gotten within the last 1 or 2 years especially when going for PGC/PGD.This reflect recent aquisition of knowledge and since PGC/PGD is mostly tailored for work place demand in canada, a VO will assume an applicant would use it as an entry for the work place.

Otherwise, the burden to convience a VO will be greater and most likely, such application will be questioned for unclear purpose of visit and may result in a refusal.

But what I don't understand is this. From the refusal letter from CIC, they did not check the boxes for either 2yrs or 5yrs ban. So I've been think could it be an error from the VO? Cos I don't know if I should go with d 2yrs ban or five yrs ban or better still, should I send a mail to them to know d length of the ban? Thanks
