Romance › Re: *Types Of Spirits That Delay Your Marriages* by nelsonose: 3:20am On Jun 26, 2023 |
FalseProphet1: 1. *Boy-friend* This is that spirit that will keep scaring away serious and well meaning suitors because they'll be thinking that the boyfriend that always hangs around you actually wanted to marry you. To cast out this spirit, you don't need to pray about it. Just quit the relationship.
2 *Engagement ring* This is that spirit that makes you keep raising your finger to show the world that one young man that is still serving the master engaged you and when the serious suitors see the ring, they'll pass over you because something in them tells them you have been engaged. To cast out this spirit, you don't need prayers, just remove that key holder in your finger.
3. *Hard to get* This is that spirit that tells you not to accept a marriage proposal in a hurry so that the brother will not think you were too cheap or desperate. It tells you to tell him to give you six months to pray, don't always pick his calls, behave as if you are not interested even though you are dying on the inside and truly love the brother. This spirit is truly from your village people, the day it will release you is that day the brother would have agreed to marry another and you'll be the one to start him and his number will say.... Thank you for using MTN. To cast out this spirit, just be real. If you love the brother and you perceive he is God's will for you, just accept the proposal and move on with your marriage!
4. *Proud spirit* That spirit that tells you to always run home after service so that no brother will talk to you, maybe he'll meet you in the dream. Before the brother would prepare what to say, you have gone home. That spirit that tells you that every brother that greets you has an evil intention, so don't answer them. That spirit that doesn't allow you to greet brothers except those that ride cheap and exotic cars. That spirit that tells you to be walking fast every time as if something is pursuing you from the back. Well, I don't know how you can cast out this spirit o, but I think humility and being moderate might help.
5. *Denominational/tribal spirit* I am a Catholic and must marry a Catholic. Your villagers are really at work. I'm a Deeper Lifer and must marry one whose life is also Deep. I am a Chosen and must marry from Chosen because others were rejected. I am an Anglican and must marry an Anglican even if God is leading me to do otherwise. I am from Hausa tribe and must marry from my tribe. I'm from Imo state and must not marry from Abia. This spirit has kept many bound, they entered menopause and are about to retire to village. To cast out this spirit of delay, understand that every believer is from one tribe called Christ. If God is leading you to another denomination, kindly obey Him, but let it be God.
Finally…
6. *Dirtiness* That spirit that tells you not to dress well because you are going to heaven. It tells you to use tarpaulin to sew your dress, wear green skirt, yellow blouse and lemon head tie. When brothers see you, their nightmare will increase and they will go for personal deliverance. You are a lady but dresses like a man; you don't brush your tongue, when you talk the heaven closes and the earth trembles.
This spirit can only be cast out by understanding that cleanliness is next to godliness. Dress well, don't under dress and don't over dress. Dress modestly, smell good because it's not sin. Smell like a living being and not a dead being. Jesus appreciated the woman that broke the oil that smells good and truly He enjoyed the fragrance. So which Jesus did you actually accept that abhors such? God bless us all.
Copied. So true! Thank you for writing this piece. Those who want to learn, let them learn. |

I hope you are aware of this No matter the perceived ill in private Universities, it is more than ten times worst in government Universities. Which govt University has 100% its courses fully accredited? Generally, private enterprises Perform better govt biznesses because the commitment and less bureaucratic bottle neck in it decision making processes. 9jahotblog: [ARCHIVES] Supreme Court upheld candidates must win 25% votes in 24 states, plus 25% in FCT in Buhari v Obasanjo [2005]
The clarity came from a Supreme Court ruling in a case involving Muhammadu Buhari of the then All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and Olusegun Obasanjo of the then Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday, July 15, 2005.
In its ruling, the apex court had upheld that presidential candidates must win 25 per cent of all votes cast in 24 states, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
READ: https://news.band/archives-supreme-court-upheld-candidates-must-win-25-votes-in-24-states-plus-25-in-fct-in-buhari-v-obasanjo-2005/ Having read the above judgement, I can see some sense in the claim that FCT is a separate and distinct entity from the Federating states and thus 25% vote win in it must be satisfied for a president to emerge. This position having been held previously by the court, the court cannot now contradict itself in the present circumstances. In summary, the direction of the upcoming court verdict is clear. |

JAMB makes fool of itself and shows great incompetence in the conduct UTME mock. Why should JAMB post a candidate to an examination town different from the candidate's choice. Some candidates have had to abandoned their exams because of logistics and security problems arising from this wicked act of jamb. Imagine forcing a minor to travel about 200km to a strange geo-political zone amidst bad road, possible kidnapping and incurring hotel cost for sleeping over, all in name of writing UTME mock. This is greatly unfair to candidates no matter the reasons advanced for this practice. Above all, exam is meant for the living as such JAMB must learn to respect the choices made by it's candidates. |

Slurity: Except for a very rare cases, if you graduate with 3rd class degree in Nigeria, just go and learn another business or you further your study to get a second degree, my over 10 years of job seeking and helping companies to recruit clearly point to the fact that 3rd class has less than 30% chance of getting invitations for interview and less than 10% chance of beating other competitors, people already form an opinion about them before even hearing them out. Your views are valid. With 3rd class degree, society will hardly give you an opportunity to prove your worth. However, this opens the candidate's mind to reality. In that wise, a serious minded persons goes back to the University for a 3-year course via direct entry more purposefully to grab a 2.1 degree thus remedy his 3rd class challenges for life. Going back to the University may not be easy, but it is still a lot better than carrying the albatross of a 3rd class for life. Obtaining higher degrees seem good but this may not be a perfect remedy for a 3rd class degree as first degree majorly form basis for the evaluation of candidates for many jobs in Nigeria today. |

Michoco: But I want to ask, what will happen to those 8 months salaries if not paid to them eventually?. The unpaid salaries revert to federal government coffers if not paid within the 2022 fiscal year which ends by 31st December, 2022. In that case, it becomes more difficult for the fund to be released or paid except the FGN raises a special appropriation bill for that purpose. This is rigorous and may linger for years if eventually paid. In fact, this is to become part of ASUU's yearly demand soon. |

no work no pay is in constitution. as learned people, obey it I share same views with you. ASUU should stop blackmailing FGN and weeping public sentiment. Enough of their crocodile tears. No work, no pay is the way to go if Nigeria must move forward. If the union has shame, it should cater for its members for the period of the eight month strike lasted. Beyond this, if ASUU insist on the payment of their members salaries, it should indemnify the students all parties that suffered losses during their strike. |

PotatoSalad: Any ATM card you use for frequent transactions shouldn't be connected to your main account. While printing a new card, tell the bank operator to engrave only your first name in the card. (Yes it's possible). Find a way to scrape off the Security number in the back of your card. Write the number somewhere safe. Whenever you want to pay for stuff online with your card, use incognito mode (so that the browser don't save your card information) Don't let POS operators out of sight with your card. If they can't do the transaction there, hold your card till they get another POS machine. Main bank accounts should be managed by a separate phone that is always at home and not connected to any cards. Cos I hear people say, "don't connect your main account to internet banking apps". You need to monitor your account on a daily basis. If your main account is connected to your phone number that is your daily driver, enable sim lock immediately. That way, no one can access your sim even if they put it in another phone. Opt for email alerts only for your main accounts.
I don't leave more than 20k in the account that I use for my ATM card. Cos that's what I can afford to lose. Much sense here. Tnx. |

We are trained to work with the private sector which is more lucrative. Maybe apart from lecturing job because I love academics, I won't like to work for the government. I may also manage bursary or treasury department. Yes, you may not want to work in govt but other may want. In treasury and academic department, you will be SUBSUMED by other titles and Banking and Finance Officer |

much30: My friend with B.Sc in banking and finance is currently in a government secondary school as a bursar and seriously rising in her career. If you have a B.Sc in banking and finance joined with Ican or Anan certification, you can attend to any level you want to attend to in your career. I know of an uncle who read Banking and finance, and also a chartered accountant who owns a chartered Accounting firm, infact he has passed the business to his children and the man is so good in auditing work. An aunty who is currently among the current council members in ICAN at national level, she has bank and finance both in her first degree and second degree, A person who ready Banking and finance and has ICAN is better equipped than someone who read only Accounting with ICAN. Because the former can handle and understand financial modelling and analysis. Accounting students were not taught to analyze businesses school. An accounting graduate cannot analyse your business except he learnt that from somewhere. And who says that government work is more lucrative than private work? It is only Nigeria that people are paying millions as bribe just to get a government job. In this era of mergers and aqusitions, startups and entrepreneurship, any Banking and finance graduate who knows her onus will make it, but the person needs to be well equip with the right certifications and skills. Have you even thought of treasury management, this is a pure finance field and one can get the certification from CIBN. Risk management another good Field, capital market, these are finance core specialty. If I start to mention areas, infact, the whole page will be filled. So, pls allow the young man to follow his passion. If certain courses like sociology, psychology, religious studies etc still exist in Nigeria universities, I don't know by banking and finance won't exist. Please before you make assertions ask questions or investigate. "Yes, you can be subsumed by other titles but certainly NOT Banking and Finance Officer" Please refer to my earlier submission. By ascertaining that someone you know, having studied Banking and Finance became a Chartered Accountant, you simply corroborated my views. The man who became a Chartered Accountant from Banking and Finance background started the Accounting professional exam from the scratch unlike the man that studied Accounting at Degree level. For the purpose of clearity, a degree in Banking and Finance is NOT USELESS but has lesser prospect than degrees from other discipline with a gazetted Scheme of Service. This is from the angle of public service. |

much30: Oga, where did you get this theories from. I studied banking and finance, both first and second degrees and my certificates bear both names. Please, talk what you know, Abeg. Very simple. Are you working in any government organisation now and bearing the designation of a "Finance Officer"? Yes, you can be subsumed by other titles but certainly NOT Banking or Finance officer. An Accounting graduate's designation ranges from Accounting officer II to Director of finance. Same can be said of either Public or Bus Admin graduates raising from Admin Officer II to Director of Admin. This is unlike Banking and Finance where there is no professional career path in the government Scheme of Service. Anybody can be a banker and anyone with finance background, a financial expert. Simple put, An Accounting graduate can be a banker or financial analyst but a Banking and Finance graduate cannot be an Accountant. |

Bintuenyo: Some of you don't even know what banking and finance is all about, just because you see banking in the course, you are opening your mouth to talk waaa. What about the finance part? do you know how many financial institutions we have in this country? It's not by force to work in the bank. Studying banking and finance is not a limitation. Don't be deceived when you hear Banking and Finance, It is Banking majorly. If you doubt me ask those who studied Geography and Regional Planning, Accounting and Finance, Sociology and Anthropology, Medicine and Surgery etc. The truth is that, while the former is the core subject upon which first degree is based, the latter shows a specialist area that is also offered in the same department/university perhaps at postgraduate level. In some cases, the latter is not reflected in your degree result. NOTE I said in SOME CASES. Where it may appear, it is there to deceive the less informed members of the public. Come to think of it, how practicable is it for anyone to earn two distinct degrees within 4years that is the same time to earn one. Untill very recently, there was no recognition or career path for graduates of Banking and Finance in the public service. Please find out In summary, Bank and Finance is not popular and of lesser prospect. Accountancy may be a better option. |

KazikageSama: This is Nigeria, there are NO useless courses (absolutely none). Just make sure you get the best grades (1st class or 2:1). Choose any course where you can make your best grade.
Someone that studied language and graduated with 1st class stands a better chance of getting a good job at a corporate organization job than someone who studied Accounting and graduated with a 2:2.
Your course is mostly insignificant in Naija (except for specialized professionals like Medicine, law e.t.c.) but your grade is VERY important. This is nothing, but the truth. |
