I smell a rat in this nddc tingy.... buh its a good one though. seems they needed to add more people, perhaps cause people that passed cut off was low... Its why they are nw adding people. Nice one... Congrats to those that just joined the train. Then I wanna ask ex scholars, does test score have its seperate attribute to the final selction. or test score was only just to shortlist people for interview and now do the selection from only interview?... cos I have heard people say test is 40% abi 50, and interview takes rest. That right?

Funny, what sin are u talking about. lol.. They said say ur score and state if u got invite. I got, I said my state, I nor wan talk score, cos it wont reflect anything, meaning saying it wont really be of any help. I said it was high because it was. Even if the cut off was at his highest, I wld have still got called for interview (one with God is with Majority). or wait are u talkin about the 34 I mentioned. That was not me oooo. That someone else, I mentioned it to tell peeps from my state (Edo) who scored around that to maybe expect invite.

Got mine this morning tho, Edo State, 24/06/16... for score, mine was quite high tho courtesy baba God, not saying the exact figure, make people for nor call am braggin, abi showing urself. lol, I know nairalanders. Buh I tink the invites is by state, and each state have their cut off. I tink about a score of about 34 for MSc flied in Edo state, cos I know someone who scored that and got an invite. so perhaps Edo state cut off was like 30 or so. Meanwhile everybody keep your fingers crossed, for the test, msg kept sending till after 2days,.... Also previous scholars and other NDDC experienced people should please drop as much hint as they can. Possibly tell us ur interview experience. even if dem tease wetin u wear that day....lol

Ok na... People be carrying yeye rumour, how can there be no data base, wld have been the biggest loop hole ever. Cos even people would have been able to take the test more than 10times

Baresi baba, so did u finally use the Subsea engineering when u obtained the scholarship? even though the interviewer didnt listen during interview. Then also do u know or have heard of any of ur fellow scholar that used it for a 2years or 18months masters after obtaining it? Waitin for ur respnse

Hi guys,hope good.To those that scored very high-congrats.To those that did not make as much as they expected-all hope is not lost.Cinfores 'cast' when a good number of people scored above 85% in the last PRESSID.An hour exam of maths,english(with passages),current affairs and logic.No sensible person will want to be embarrassed twice even if they were to conduct the exam.Like I said before,the test is just 40% of your total score while interview is 60%.
I have to say it clearly that no system is perfect,however,do not be disillusioned by people's assertion that NDDC isnt transparent.These kind of bodies are always under pressure cos there are people that you just cant say no to.However,they still have to meet their statutory responsibility of impacting on the people by making sure that a good number merit it.I had that misconception until I saw my fellow comrades-in-the-hustle get the award,I had to step up my game.

It is obvious that the average score is quite low,it simply means they will cut lower.The main thing is that you have done your best.I prefer to worry about things that I have control over rather than the ones that I dont.I think you have control over the interview which I feel will come up soonest.It is about five man panel interview and it gives balance cos they assess you differently.

I happened to write on the 2nd (Thursday). The questions for ICT were so narrowed into the core subjects like "Digital Logic Design, Data Structure, software engineering, fundamentals of algorithms and advance computer architecture".

At first, i was like how on earth will this guys bring this kind of questions into an exams like this... Well, i was lucky when i stumbled to get my 41/50 out of the hall after several system issues when they used IE browser to drive the exams with an incomplete browser plugins. I had to switch to FIREFOX to avoid further issues

Well i won't dispute the very fact that the questions where easy!!! Men it WAS VERY HARD. As below:
(1) Consider a max heap, represented by the following array; 40,30,20,10,15,16,17,18,4 After inserting a nodes with value 35.Which of following is the updated max heap?
(2) The boolean expression AB'CD'is?
(3) How can you define an interrupt?
(4) In which one of the following methods for resolving the priority, the device with the highest priority is placed in the first position, followed by lower-priority devices up to the device with the lowest priority, which is placed last in the series?
(5) Sieve Technique can be applied to selection problem?
(6) Some bit field members are stored: I) left to right II) right to left III) in circular array.
and so on........

All i can say is, you just need to practice very well for the interview. Because from experience, you can score the highest but you are not guarantied to get the scholar because interview is another hard phase of this marathon.

God is the only answer to all of our questions and not man. You never know that your Scored 7 can take you to where you never expected... Keep praying and believe in him. Also pray for good governance of NDDC 2016 because 2015 government was really a mess. Can you imagine i was interviewed with an IPAD+INTERNET last year? lol....

I know this year will be good and we will have a lot of lucky people. Let's all pray for Mrs. Ibim Semenitari because she's a woman of her words just like our dear Dr. Christy Atako. I wish Dr. Christy Atako was on board....

Oga u people paro too much. The test was arranged by states, and cut off is also by states. if u feel u wrote the first day and got 34, meaning the test was equally hard for those from ur state, meaning u peoples cut off wd be lower. then ur other guys that wrote the next from another state, that they are all gettin 50/50, their cut off will also become high, so make una kul down, these people cast somehw, but they also know wat they are doin. When u get to the interview u might hear people that got 20 and got call, meanwhile u might know someone that got 35 for that same field, and was not called. if u care to ask the there, they will tell u the person was from another state. If they dont zone the slots by state, dont u knw that some states would be gettin so much why some wont get one. Whether or not una agree, people from some states areusually more intelligent (based on stats) than others. I didnt mention any state oooo. lol. so peeps relax. and just keep prayin, last last, na God na get power

Your right. I also wrote on thursday, i scored. 34 and I came upset that I didn't do well. Only for my friends to say that they hadn't seen anyone that scored above 30 and this was around 2pm on Thursday. Then were hearing higher scores the following days, which isn't a true reflection of the test. I only hope and pray that my score will see me through

Oga ask my UNIBEN brothers, u wld know krammin na beans, esp when u know it wld pay of totally. people go even kram am with the probability that it will come out, not to talk of assurance that it will com. U dont knw gettin an answer to a question that u have seen anywhere else before is so easy, even tho u dont know how the answers came about. Just leave past question out of this. We have past that stage. Cinfores has over a 1000 in ability test alone. Even if they sell the software, can you gram all the 1000? Then as one who believes in equality and fairness I urge u to discontinue with this scholarship process I.e if ur called for interview don't go because u had unfair advantage over others at least av seen people return their waec cert because they cheated when they wrote it. So stop being hypocritical here; lest I forget ur score of 41 is 98% not taking u to anywhere, so stop mocking people here and being happy inside thinking u already have the scholarship award. NDDC scholarship is not transparent simple I know some may want to quote me wrong.

The company that organized this exam did not prepare well. I guess they hijacked this contract from cinfores with out first counting the cost, and now they are fumbling. If you go to there website, you will understand what I'm saying. How can you set the same questions for people writing exams on different days? What will you expect? The later will do better. These questions are supposed to be shuffled and selected at random in such a way that everybody will not answer exactly the same question.

How can u be an exambody and still sell PQ, whether as softeware or not, thats u seeling ur question bank, that a where they lost it. So na to kram all Cinfores PQ bank na come be better evalaution abi. I actually prefer these guys to Cinfores, with this one now, each year people will expect sometin diff, next year they might decide to set all maths ad english, nobody go kill dem, People complaind last year, Baresi is now overseas, people are complain this year, I and who ever believe in God here will go overseas, people will complain next year, Gome first son go still go overseas, (lol, cos I believe say Gome na baba o)... Thats just the way it is. God is actually the one incharge last last. lol. Going thru this thread I just keep laughin. I do understand people's despise for the process. But lemme start on the note that INFORMATION IS KEY, Jezrel I totally agree with u that wat u heard about how the test went yest influenced what u scored. Buh if u really wanna evaluate urself, try to imagine if u had gone to the hall with ur initial prep without the info. Back to my point, do u people know that even with all the anticinfores fight we raised, people were still studyin cinfores this morning. I actually did the test today, and I did well, I have tried evaluating myself with the amount of preparation I had made before any info i got, and discovered I wld have still done well (mind u I didnt hear questions from yest, just the exam pattern that there wasnt current affairs or maths or english like last year), cos I made sure I went thru Physical Geology from beginning to end, which is the basic test book or ebook for any geologist, It was already well stated here that the questions were from area of specialization mainly (whih I knew wld be basics, atlst esp for my course), and then lil maths, english, and CA. I didnt read maths and english, abah, if after different apt tests am still urging to read maths and english again for test, thats abnormal na, I just only flipped thru current affairs. Then went thru my almost 400pages physical gly ebook, took time on topics I knew are quite tough/confusing and the ones i hav forgotten, of which 2 of the ones in which I dwelt very well were the ones that were coming out today... So I practically was prepared in excess. But what benefited some people is their urge for info. Heard some people even went there yest. Smart move as far as I am concern... The only thing I see here is that some people were just unlucky, to have been the first to write yest. I concur with the motion moved by my fellow nairalander honourable that the first batch of yest should be preferentially treated. Point being, u couldnt have stopped the info from going out to those that wanted it.. Instead of blaming the test people, why not share the blame also to the candidates, that would come out and be givin the exact questions out. last last info is key. at this point I tink its paramount to give 3 gbosa to nairaland, some of us for read current affairs die ad nor open one course material... Finally please oo, u people shldnt forget or assume today was rosey ooooo, abeeeeg. people were sstill knocked off their feet.

Pathetic is an understatement. I scored 41 in the yeye test but I am disappointed at the administrators of the test and I think it is not a fair process to all. Having sat for various standardised tests and foreign exams, this is the worst organised test ever(in my opinion). I think NDDC consulted these people either because of man-know-man or lack of funds to hire experienced professionals (oh! I understand they're cutting cost). This is suppose to be an ability test that will present well-grounded graduates to proceed for postgraduate study, How can you explain repeating one question 5 times. A rookie programmer would have fixed that bug. As if thats not enough, my question was full of capacitance and inductance as if I studied capacitance engineering. I will personally contact Mrs Tari on this matter, its not by force to write exam, afterall postume was cancelled. C'mon, this can be better!

Just the accreditation, the timing, arranegment (as in it seat by courses), the test pattern as in is it by area of spec like last year or anything. Make una talk, make una nor wori, una go pass.

Oga go and write, there is no such tin as pq... the assumed cinfores would have been k if maybe u were using it before now. just go do ur tin in the hall. Trust me u wld be better off that way.
