Yes, they have given egypt a tough game. Everyone probably thought Egypt would have already scored in the first half. |
Exactly, it's 75 mins. into the game and it's still a draw. Even if Egypt ends up winning it would not happen as easily as everyone thought they were gonna crush Ghana. Ghana held it out for very long. I know they are determined to prove everyone wrong. |
zubeyr:Are you from Mauritania? That is the only west african country that I know that is arab, west african, and francophone. |
O, Im surprised by the poll results. I thought more people would be in favor of Egypt. |
semid4lyfe:no, Im Gambian. |
Tatase:O really. I never knew that. The only contact I have had with francophone west africans is here in america, and we usually get along really well after finding out we are both africans. Is it a specific francophone country? Or is it most of them? Maybe within africa is different. But are you sure it's not just that they have something against nigerians specifically and not other anglophone west african countries. As much as I hate to say it, many other west african countries don't like nigerians due to the stereotypes (like 419, etc, ). |
What do you have against francophone west african countries? |
It's interesing how the nigerians here have not responded to this post. I guess people are still not over losing to Ghana. |
I am scared for Ghana now. Egypt has won 18 consecutive matches in the nations cup. They have also won the cup 6 times (including 2 times in a row). Ghana has won it 4 times. They have historically been good so they might have a chance against Egpyt but they have a lot of work to do. We need to forget about Ghana vs. Nigeria now and root for Ghana to represent West Africa. One of Ghana players said in an interview after the game with naija that they are not afraid of anyone and I hope they have that kind of attitude when the are playing the pharoahs. |
To keep those who don't have a chance to watch the game updated: It is halftime now and the score is 1-1. |
no im gambian. why do you think im ghanaian? |
lol, you're welcome. and i am a female. |
FunkyDany:I totally agree. I thought that was pretty unfair. I am so upset. Uhhh, I just hope Egypt or any of those North Africans don't win the cup again. I was supporting Ivory Coast. I guess the only west african countries left now are Ghana and Cameroon. I am really looking forward to the match between Egypt and Cameroon tomorrow. It seems like in the previous matches Egypt has been undeafeated so far. I just hope Cameroon plays a good game tomorrow. |
lol, i thought i was the only one who thought he was cute. but this isn't a good pic of him. b/c of his attempted terror attack, i feel awkward seeing him as cute. he looks very young too. anyway, i was so sad when i heard about his story b/c it ruins our image more. i am also a muslim so i hate hearing about things like this. i feel like now not only arab/south asian muslims are gonna b discriminated against, but now african muslims. |
uc nduka:This post explains very well why there is a double standard when it comes to virginity, especially the bolded portions. Men and women are equal BUT we are DIFFERENT. That's what some girls fail to understand. I am not saying that men should not be blamed for some of their actions, but there are some things they can do that a woman can't do just like women can alsodo things men can't do. Our bodies are different. period. |
wow. i was going to say my views but ameoba no. 1's post basically said everything i feel. |
iice:i thought a woman keeping her virginity prevented her from being on sale and letting many guys sticking their manhood in and out of her. |
activist:It's definitely a profit. I don't think you'd want a girl who has been enjoyed by other men. You also don't want her to possibly compare your sexual ability and manhood with her previous partners. But if i was a guy I wouldn't spend too much money on her though. I am not saying you should be cheap, but you want to be sure she's not just using you. There are a lot of girls who claim to be virgins however they have done many other nasty things with guys or they might have even been penetrated already, but just don't want to have sex with you. So be careful. |
beingme:lol, well i knew if a couple months before we actually made it official. so yes he is my boyfriend who i am trying to convert into my husband, but i don't want to appear like I'm trying too hard. |
coolier:I completed undergrad. I am currently a first year grad student. I'm 23. He's 27 and working full time as a dentist so he is pretty well off financially. |
funkybaby:Yes, you understand. That is also another worry. I don't want to walk that road before I'm married. I want to avoid that part. I try to have us do things that won't tempt us to go there. Besides, it's only been 4 months anyway. He hasn't asked me to have sex with him yet though. When he does I guess I just have to explain it to him. We're both muslims so pre-marital sex is a big no go area for us. |
So, I've been dating this guy for about 4 months now. Some weekends (usually saturday, b/c i go to school) I would go out with him and some times I would spend the day at his place (we DONT have sex though and I have never slept over). So I will be visiting him next Saturday so I wanted to surprise him and make him an african meal so this time he wouldn't have to spend money for us to eat out. Is it to early in the relationship to get in his kitchen and cook? I don't want to do anything that would put me in an awkward situation. |
ezeagu:O and don't forget the european like hair as well. |
newakata:why did u make your username akata? are you sure of the meaning? it is a derogotary term for you and other aa. i don't think a nigerian would make that their username lol, and just b/c some people attempt to compare the two men does not mean they are comparable. sorry, but nigerian men are way out of their league. the same can be said for many other african men. |
oops i posted the same pic twice, but u see what i mean. |
michelin89:O i see what u mean. she did bleach a little. her natural brown was so much prettier:
|
michelin89:her color is beautiful the way it already is. africans no matter how dark or light have this richness to whatever shade of brown they are. |
Siena:lol, o ok. i like ur pride. but yea you n your wife seem like the kind of happy couple i want to be with my husband. well that is when i do get married lol. |
