I dont think so .. That is too harsh of a purnishment
Why?

Do u know how many females lie and accuse guys of rape
Some of which are completely innocent , now in a country where they dont have the right set up to invetigate properly. I.e cctv, asap forensics n all dat ...

Now alot of men would just die.. N some women would now u this to blackmail guys ...
Think ...

Yes if all d facts r stacked against him.. N theres serious evidence etc Kill him off smiley
Rapist especially paedophiles surely deserve nothing less than death.

I think you wrongly believe that it is easy to get a conviction of rape in Nigeria,
and all a girl needs to do is report the case and the man will be killed
however reverse is the case as most accused are let of the hook ,
hence a girl simply reporting a rape case doesn't mean the man must be convicted.

Which is better , an innocent man that spends his entire life in prison
or the one that was hanged innocently ?

Am curious as to how the blackmail will go;
Girl : You must marry me or I will kill you
Guy: How will you do that ?
Girl: I will say you raped me ?

The only scenario where the blackmail factor may be supreme is
if in reality 99% of women are blackmailers who are looking
for the next guy to kill.

There is no perfect justice system anywhere in the world
that doesn't mean laws shouldn't be enforced because of that.

The only people who see nothing wrong with Buhari's appointments are
those who have traded their future for peanut(ego).
This pattern of appointment is what every successful
dictator and tyrants across the world have used in
enslaving their people.

Yet some ass-lickers can still come online to defend
Buhari's appointment.

Only the truth can set us free.

Fayose is a dunce. Sorry for Ekiti State. When a governor behaves like this, then how does he intend to motivate people to go to school? He is just saying education is unnecessary as anyone, education or no education, qualified or no qualified (Borrowing Tinubu defending Buhari's words) can govern.
These people are clowns just making mockery of governance. The Nigerian future generation are the ones who will suffer for all these nonsense.
The same way Nigerians are suffering for installing a semi-literate 73 yr old man.

Nigeria is not just ready to refine it's own crude to prefer importing finished goods.

Blame Buhari who hasn't pumped enough body language to scare the cabals.

This is the kind of leaders you have in the south.

Now compare these two old fools with politicians and elites from the north.

Have you heard or read of northern politicians fighting themselves on the pages of newspapers?

In so many ways, the north deserves to rule the south.
Quickly go and attend to your cows.
It is not how long but how well,
eventually , northern dominance will be neutralized.

I wonder. I think it is a myopic way to think. Appointments only benefits the appointee. The only way the public benefits is only when the appointee carries out his/her work diligently.

Nigerians can we move away from tribalism please.
The bolded shows your naivety and ignorance of how government works.
It is easier for a region to get Federal approval for a project or siting of important
industry if one of their own
is in a position of authority.

You are probably one of those who can't connect with
how ordinary Nigerians live their life

Don't you find it absurd that only northern appointees can work diligently ?

Finally , no where in the world except in extreme authoritarian states does the
president appoints only his kinsmen into power.

Eluwilussit:
And what do you call Obasanjo, IBB, Abdusallami and Jonathan? Because Abacha is dead, everyone now uses him as an example of corruption. When the man was alive, even "saint & messiah" Buhari worked for him. Abacha stood up to America and others and defended Nigeria better than most of these other thieves. Remember he pegged the exchange rate and tried to sanitize the banks.

His legacy wasn't just about stealing. Even Buhari was accused of over $2billion in the late 70s. He is a thief as well. Don't even mention OBJ. Today he lives at his hilltop palace. How did he become such a reach guy? None of our past leaders is any better. Unfortunately, Abacha is dead and can't defend himself. I am sure if he were alive, he would have a dossier on everyone else.
While I agree with some of your points regarding Abacha, I believe that he is
universally hated because of his infamous death squad which he used to
asassinate many of his critic.
History never favors a killer despot no matter his achievements.

Shutting down churches for the benefit of their pocket, will never make this country a better place.
I commend lagos state government for this, noise pollution is stealthy but it
highly dangerous to one's health because the long term effect
is psychological disorders.
No wonder many people behave erratically in lagos.

You might think the churches are spreading good news but consider this
scenario : You worked from Monday till Friday Night and you decided to rest on
Saturday but you couldn't because of the three churches around your house,
how will you feel ?

Also how can you learn anything from the different churches which are shouting "Fire"
all at the same time ?

I heard that there is no single poor man/woman in the entire north,

Organized religion is one of the major causes of the increase in crime rate .

Deeper Life is a major culprit. They encourage their workers to quit their jobs so that they can 'serve god' more. After doing this, they start living in poverty, become desperate and turn to crime.
You nailed it,
prayers and more prayers don't solve anything.
Prayers neither create jobs nor fight crime
