Foreign Affairs › Do Not Test Britain Ben Wallace Tells Putin by neolboy(op): 10:22am On Mar 06, 2022
Ben Wallace has told President Vladimir Putin not to test Britain, and warned Russian that 'history is littered' with despots who underestimated the UK and the West.

In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, Mr Wallace said the West 'must not be afraid of Putin'.

He warned the Russian leader - who he said was 'acting irrationally and inflicting horrors on Ukraine' - not to 'test' the UK.

'The thing to say to Putin is don't underestimate us, don't test us,' he told the newspaper.

'History is littered with authoritarian leaders underestimating the wider West and the United Kingdom. He clearly underestimated the international community.' He added: 'If we stick together and refuse to be intimidated then I believe he will fail.'

Mr Wallace's comments come after increasing warnings that intervention in the war in Ukraine by the West would be considered as entering the conflict by the Kremlin.

On Saturday, a defiant Putin called the West's economic, diplomatic and cultural boycott of the country tantamount to a declaration of war.

He also warned that his regime would consider any third-party declaration of a no-fly zone as 'participation in the armed conflict'.

He also warned that his regime would consider any third-party declaration of a no-fly zone as 'participation in the armed conflict'.

In an astonishing display of sabre-rattling, Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned London: 'Russia will not forget Britain's desire to co-operate with ultra-nationalist forces in Ukraine and the supply of British weapons to the Kiev regime'.

Foreign Affairs › 20 Points To Understand About Russia And Ukraine War by neolboy(op): 8:51pm On Feb 24, 2022
The tension and geopolitical strife between Russia and Ukraine assumed a terrifying dimension after Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a military operation in Ukraine on Thursday with explosions heard across the country.
The Nation reports many countries have called for a diplomatic way out of the current crisis between the two countries, but Putin has intensified further military action.

While there had been tensions between Russia and Ukraine, a former Soviet republic, for a long time, the situation began getting out of control in early 2021.
Here are points to know about the conflict between the two countries:

1. In January last year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged US President Joe Biden to let Ukraine join NATO

2. This angered Russia, which started sending troops near its Ukraine border for "training exercises" in spring last year and increased it during autumn.

3. Russia does not want Ukraine in NATO - and has said as much in its list of security demands which were sent to the US last December. The demands included a halt to any NATO drills near Russia's border.

4. Ukraine is not a NATO member but it wants to be. NATO, which the United States, the arch-rival of Russia, is a part of, is the subject of heightened tension. Meanwhile, NATO too, is open to make Ukraine its member because it is considered a partner of alliance.

5. The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) was created in 1949 by the United States, Canada, and several Western European nations to provide collective security against the Soviet Union.

6. NATO is an intergovernmental military alliance whose purpose is "to guarantee the freedom and security of its members through political and military means".

7. Ukraine's growing links with the EU and the West has also been vehemently opposed by Putin.

8. By December last year, the US began to lament about the deployment of the Russian troops and President Biden warned of severe sanctions if Russia invaded Ukraine.

9. This is not the first time tensions between Russia and Ukraine has reached a boiling point.

10. Russia had invaded Ukraine in 2014 when rebels backed by President Putin had seized large swathes of easterrn Ukraine and have fought Ukraine's army since then. At that time, Russia had annexed Crimea.

11. As a former Soviet republic Ukraine has deep social and cultural ties with Russia, and Russian is widely spoken there, but ever since Russia invaded in 2014 those relations have frayed.

12. Russia attacked Ukraine when its pro-Russian president was deposed in early 2014. The war in the east has since claimed more than 14,000 lives

13. Russia and Ukraine had signed the Minsk peace accord to halt the armed conflict in east Ukraine, including the Donbas region.

14. But as the conflict has continued, Russia explained that it is sending "peacekeepers" to the region where the conflict is brewing. The West calls it a smokescreen by Moscow to occupy sovereign territory.

15. The new tension between Russia and Ukraine, which also borders the European Union, has repurcussions for the EU. And that's why the EU, most of who are NATO signatories have joined the US in announcing sanctions, against Russian entities.

16. Ukraine, which was part of the Russian empire for centuries before becoming a Soviet republic, won independence as the USSR broke up in 1991. It moved to shed its Russian imperial legacy and forge increasingly close ties with the West.

17. A decision by Kremlin-leaning Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to reject an association agreement with the European Union in favour of closer ties with Moscow led to mass protests that saw him removed as leader in 2014.

18. Russia responded by annexing Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula and throwing its weight behind a separatist rebellion that broke out in Ukraine's east.

19. Ukraine and the West accused Russia of sending its troops and weapons to back the rebels. Moscow denied that, saying the Russians who joined the separatists were volunteers

20. Furthermore, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said Ukraine's aspirations to join NATO are a red line, and expressed concern about plans by some NATO members to set up military training centres in Ukraine. This, he has said, would give them a military foothold in the region even without Ukraine joining NATO.

I have never tried that in my life
Romance › Why Do I Find It Difficult To Fall In Love by neolboy(op):
As a guy in his mid thirties, i found it difficult to fall in love. The last time i fell in love was in the year 2005.
I fell in love with this girl, infact i was crazy for her, i could do anything for her. During this time the thought of having sex with her never comes to mind because being with her is a enough for me but along the lines, she broke my heart multiple times which cause me heartache to the extent that my now late Grandma was angry that i could fell sick because of a lady. So i picked myself up and have one goal which is to have sex with her which i later succeeded. But since then i have been in series of relationship and i discovered that at the end of it all i never had anything for them. Even when a lady tells me they are no more interested, i don't get angry, I just let go without feeling bad about it. I easily get disconnected from girls.

I don't know if there is anything wrong with my love life or is it that i haven't met the love of my life.

Should i be worried about my love life?

Modified:

I have never tried masturbating in my life neither have i tried touching myself, and the last time i had sex was 2016. For those thinking I do masturbate, you all got it wrong

Politics › 2023 Presidency: Anyone Who Says "I Don’t Like Money" Is Disqualified — Abe by neolboy(op): 8:17am On Jan 12, 2022
Ahead the 2023 general elections, Senator Magnus Abe, yesterday, said any aspirant bragging that he doesn’t like money should never give thought to becoming the next President of the country.

Apparently quoting the viral, “I am not corrupt and I don’t like money” declared by Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi, on national television four years ago, Abe made the remarks at a media parley in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He also eulogised Bola Tinubu as “eminently qualified” to be next President while he (Abe) was still consulting on his next political intention.

On the president the nation needs come 2023, Abe said: “The most important thing at this time is that we don’t want anybody who does not like money to come near the Presidency. We need the leader, at this point, who understands money and knows how to generate money because that is the biggest problem in this country today.

“Anytime somebody comes and say ‘oh, I don’t like money, give me the country to run,’ you know that person is saying so because he wants to shortchange the rest of us. In saying he doesn’t like money, the person will take all the money and you, your children will not see anything. We will be hungry and then such a person will now use hunger as an instrument of politics.

“Looking at the field now, Tinubu is one of the few persons to indicate interest and he is the one person I know understands money. When others come up, we can also talk about them, but I know Asiwaju has never said he doesn’t like money. If he had said that, I would have disqualified him ab initio.”

Politics › Imo 2023: Why Ihedioha Can’t Join APGA ― PDP by neolboy(op): 4:53pm On Jan 05, 2022
By Emmanuel Iheaka – Owerri

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Imo State chapter, has dispelled rumour of the former governor of the state, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha quit the party.

There were speculations that Ihedioha was making plans to defect to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to execute his 2023 governorship ambition.

Those behind the rumour had insinuated that Ihedioha was not in good terms with the National Secretary of PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, who also hails from the state, hence the decision of the erstwhile governor to leave PDP.

But the state chapter of the PDP, Wednesday, dismissed the rumour as the handiwork of drowning politicians and desperate agents of darkness who are afraid of PDP reclaiming its mandate in 2023.

A statement from the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Mazi Emenike Nmeregini, submitted that Ihedioha is the party’s brand and that his sterling performances within his short stay in office will be the party’s message for 2023 elections.

“This party initially did not consider a disclaimer necessary, for the simple reason that Rt. Hon. Ihedioha is not known to prostitute between political parties.

“He is known and has indeed remained a consequential leader, consistent major financier, loyal and dedicated member and leader of our party since helping to found it in 1998.

“For emphasis, there is no other truly democratic party in Nigeria and in Imo State in particular, aside from the PDP.

“We are not unaware of the increasing desperation of agents of darkness, who are afraid of the imminent reclaiming of our stolen mandate come 2023.

“It is incontrovertible that His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, is our brand. And our message ahead of the 2023 general elections is the celebrated achievements of the Rebuild Imo administration within the seven months.

“The PDP led Rebuild Imo administration laid a solid foundation for the rebuilding process of our state. It is on record that all the sectors of the state were receiving attention before the usurpers broke into the government house.

“We restored salaries and pensions from 70% to 100% and paid as and when due; adequate security of lives and property began construction on over 33 critical roads across the state; flagged off an audacious agro revolution and youth empowerment; aggressive automated revenue system; autonomous local government administration; implemented the Treasury Single Account; Qualitative free education, aggressive investment drive; transparency, accountability, rule of law etc.

“Our party takes pride in the achievements of the Rebuild Imo administration for which we are being pressured by the people of Imo State across party lines to endeavour to seek their mandate to continue the rebuilding process.

“Lastly, we wish to warn mischief makers, agents of darkness, blackmailers, enemies of Imo State, to look elsewhere and stop any such fake news. Imo people are wiser and are vigilant to these and other devices of the enemies”, the party stated.

Politics › Saraki Not Your Problem, Deliver On Your Promises, Aide Tells Kwara Gov by neolboy(op): 11:49am On Jan 05, 2022
The Media Office of Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has advised the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, to cure himself of the fixation with the name of a man who assumed the post he is presently occupying 18 years ago and rather focus on how to provide efficient governance to the people of Kwara State.

In a statement signed by Yusuph Olaniyonu, the Media Office noted that Governor Abdulrazaq has continued to display the attitude of a man suffering from inferiority complex and that is why he would always talk about Saraki who left the Office of Governor of Kwara State over a decade ago.

“The Media Office of Abubakar Bukola Saraki noted the ‘long essay’ written by Rafiu Ajakaye, the Press Secretary to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq which was drifting with the name of Saraki from the headline to the last sentence. Ordinarily, one would ignore the piece as another diversionary gimmick being employed by a Governor and a government now reputed for failure to deliver on the numerous promises made to the people during elections.

“However, we consider it important to let the governor and his spin doctors know that the people have seen through their deception and thus, they should now direct their efforts towards delivering good governance to the good people of Kwara State.

“It is important for Abdulrazaq and his cohorts to be reminded that Saraki can never be governor again. He is not going to be on the ballot for the governorship in 2023. So, why do the governor and his government talk about Saraki every time? They should know that 2023 will be a verdict on whether he (the governor) had measured up to expectation as a competent and efficient administrator.

“The Kwara State governor should also know that 2023 will be a referendum on whether the promises he made to the people have been fulfilled. The election will not be about how many times he abused Saraki and what he did to antagonise the Saraki family.

“We also need to remind the Governor that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to which Saraki belong will field a competent, well educated, experienced, and acceptable gubernatorial candidate in the next general elections in Kwara State who will be ready to debate the performance of the current government in public fora and tell the people what policies, programmes, and projects they should expect from him.

“The Governor and his aides will be suffering from the grandeur of delusion to think that the major issues in Kwara State come 2023 will be their repeated lies and propaganda or false claims. Also, the next elections will not be based on empty sentiments. It will be about serious issues, a clear referendum on the performance of the incumbent and how to make Kwara greater”, the Media Office stated.

It chided Abdulrazaq and his aides for thinking the governor could get re-elected only by attacking Saraki and using his name to divert attention from the many inadequacies of the present administration.

The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Media Office further noted that while the government owes a responsibility to the people to periodically give them an account of its achievements, every government should know that the people are more discerning and they can sift the truth and separate it from empty claims or mere grandstanding.

Politics › Fuel Price Increase: We Will Shutdown Nigeria, NLC Warns In New Year Message by neolboy(op): 3:57pm On Jan 01, 2022
Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has insisted that workers and masses will not accept any further increase in the pump price of fuel in the name of subsidy removal, urging workers and the citizens to prepare for total war against fuel price hike.

President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Ayuba Wabba, in a New Year message to workers, also named Zamfara, Taraba, Benue, Kogi, Cross Rivers, Abia and Imo states as seven states yet to implement the N30,000 minimum wage that took effect on April 18, 2019.

In the message titled YEAR 2022 FELICITATIONS: KEEPING OUR HOPES AND ASPIRATIONS ALIVE IN THE NEW YEAR, NLC directed the affected states to commence indefinite strike to force the respective state governments to implement the new wage.

In a 9-page statement, NLC among others, said Still, the government is not relenting in its determination to push through further increases in the pump price of petrol and which as usual had been dubbed as “removal of petrol subsidy”. Well, Organized Labour has made its position clear on this matter. We have told government in very clear terms that Nigerians have suffered enough and will not endure more punishment by way of further petrol and electricity price increases.

“Our position in this regard is predicated on four major grounds. First is our concern on the deceit and duplicity associated with the politics of “petrol price increase” by successive Nigerian governments. The truth is that the perennial increase by government of the pump price of petrol is actually a transfer of government failure and inability to effectively govern to the poor masses of our country. We are talking of the failure of government to manage Nigeria’s four oil refineries and inability to build new ones more than thirty years after the last petrochemical refinery in Port Harcourt was commissioned; the failure to rein in smuggling; and the failure to determine empirically the quantity of petrol consumed in Nigeria. The shame takes a gory dimension with the fact that Nigeria is the only OPEC country that cannot refine her own crude oil.

“During the negotiations that trailed the last increase in petroleum prices, Organized Labour made a cardinal demand on government which is that it must take immediate steps to revamp and rehabilitate Nigeria’s refineries. A Technical Committee was set up to monitor progress in this regard. As we all know, the work of the Technical Committee like our abandoned public refineries has ground to a halt and further negotiations with government adjourned sine die for nearly one year now. As a responsible social partner, we have at different times called on government to show us what they are doing in response to our demands but silence is the response we get.

“All we hear from government are half-hearted media pronouncements on efforts to allocate funds for the rehabilitation of our public refineries. On ground, there is no commensurate action. Between 2012 and now, about $9.5 billion has been spent on Turn Around Maintenance (TAM), Greenfield Refinery Projects and even public investments in private refineries. The tragedy is that despite these humungous investments of public funds, government continues to present the crisis of mass importation of refined petroleum products into Nigeria and the consequent import-based pricing regime of refined petroleum products as a fait accompli. This neo-colonial narrative in Nigeria petroleum sub-sector is what the Nigerian working-class family has rejected as unfathomable and unacceptable as it is antithetical to the notions of sovereignty and self-actualization and a mockery of the sacrifice of our heroes past.

“Even in the classic example of capitalism, there is something called the theory of comparative advantage where a country deploys its strategic assets to secure the highest possible positive outcomes for its citizens. Unfortunately, successive governments in Nigeria have failed to take strategic advantage of our natural endowment in oil and gas especially our prime position as the highest producer of crude oil in Africa to expand our economy, induce economic growth and engender sustainable national development. Today, instead of referring to crude oil as the blessing that it is, we now commonly describe this gift of God to Nigeria as “Resource Curse”.

“The quagmire of the Dutch Disease or Resource Curse in our country is most exemplified in our downstream petroleum sub-sector. The despair of our unfortunate Catch 22 situation is that government increases the pump price of petroleum products when the price of crude oil increases and falls in the international commodities market. The explanation is that such increases automatically translate to increases in the price of refined petroleum products. When the price of crude oil falls, the excuse is that the enormous pressure on the value of the Nigerian Naira occasioned by drop in forex revenue exacerbates the crisis of Naira devaluation and causes hike in petrol price.

“Even to the blind, the solution is clear – Nigeria must regain her capacity to locally refine petroleum products. There is no escaping the fact that our public refineries must be made to work. There is no short cut to the reality that we must replace the exploitative and subservient policy of Import-Based Price Regime with Local Production Based Price Regime for refined petroleum products. There is no explaining away through disingenuous Power Point presentations, procured rallies and over-rehashed publicity in the media the simple fact that as a major Oil Producing country in the world and after nearly seventy years of oil exploration in Nigeria, our country cannot deliver on efficient and effective public petroleum refineries. Nothing dents the image of Nigeria and presents us as a country incapable of providing governance as the failed narratives in our downstream petroleum sub-sector.

“Second, we are concerned about the missed opportunities and hemorrhage of potential revenue to public coffers that government’s continued apathy to reconstructing the current negative narrative in our downstream petroleum sub-sector. The advantages and multiplier effect of local refining of petroleum products in Nigeria are enormous. There is the angle of mass job creation, increase in revenue accruable to government, promotion of environmental integrity in oil bearing communities as the scourge of artisanal refining with its deleterious impact on the environment and the consequent unrests and agitation such oil pollution precipitates would take a nose dive. The truth is that with self sufficiency in oil refining, Nigeria will be able to meet not only demand for local consumption but also will be in a grand position to cater for the refined petroleum needs of the sub region and the African continent as a whole.

“Unfortunately, the comparative advantage that government fails to see as strategic business opportunity, private investors such as Dangote Group are taking this advantage and are moving mountains and valleys to syndicate finance from institutional lenders to establish one of the largest petrochemical refineries in the world in Lekki – Lagos State. For us in the labour movement, we do not believe that government is shortsighted to the huge benefits accruable to the commonwealth by the robust development of the downstream petroleum sector especially through investment in the rehabilitation of our four public refineries and building of new refineries.

“Given the direct relationship between the outrageous amount said to be invested in the payment of the so-called petroleum subsidy and the pressure to get foreign loans from Bretton Wood Institutions to meet perennial shortfall in revenue, we believe that the crisis of the under-development of Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector, the comatose of our four public refineries and the inability of successive government to right this economic sabotage smacks of an international conspiracy at the behest of local collaborators to keep the Nigerian economy and people perpetually on their knees.

“The suggestion by government that the remedy to this malady is to stop further payment of the so-called petrol subsidy is akin to cutting one’s nose in order to spite one’s face. What the government is proposing is to abandon the Nigerian workers and people to very cruel market forces whose sole drive is profit maximization. This is why we believe that private investment in building petroleum refineries is not enough. Government must ensure that public refineries also work. This way, there would be true competition and Nigerians would be able to derive the most benefit from a resource that God freely and amply made available to the Nigerian nation.

“We have also already described the idea of paying transport allowances as robbing ourselves to pay ourselves as the amount being bandied for such transport subsidy clearly outstrips the amount that is currently expended on the so-called petrol subsidy.

“Third, as a pan Nigerian organization, Organized Labour is concerned that the crisis in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector is further aggravated by the persisting tumult in the upstream subsector. It was recently reported that almost 200 million barrels of crude oil were lost in 2021. This was as a result of crude oil theft, ageing infrastructure, poor long term investment outlay, poor security of our inland waterway, and challenges arising from conflicts with oil bearing communities and host communities of oil facilities. This is very unfortunate. Even more disturbing is the fact that just like the failed TAMs, no major culprit has been arrested and successfully prosecuted.

“Our fourth ground for rejecting any further increase in the pump price of petrol is based on our agreement with government in September 2020 that any further increase in the price of petrol should be shelved until government and labour undertakes a review of the state of local refineries in Nigeria and until government takes commensurate action to revamp our public petroleum refineries. It is in these lights that we consider the current proposals by government at the clear promoting of Bretton Woods Institutions to increase the pump price of petrol as anti-people, insensitive and a disservice to the welfare of Nigerian people which government is constitutionally mandated to protect.

“At our organ meetings which took place between December 15 and 17, 2021, the Nigeria Labour Congress took a decision to protest the planned hike in the pump price of petrol by government. The protest has been scheduled to take place in all the 36 states of the federation on the 27th of January 2022. The protest in the state would culminate in the submission of protest letters to the 36 State Governors. Subsequently, on the 1st of February 2022, there would be a national protest to be held in the Federal Capital Territory. We urge Nigerian workers and people to dust their sneakers and fully participate in the peaceful protests and rallies aimed at salvaging our economic future.

“Furthermore, the Nigeria Labour Congress has already barred its mind on the recent signing into law of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) by President Muhammadu Buhari. The agitation by different segments of society clearly shows that this very important piece of legislation which Nigerians have kept vigil over for so many years still does not sufficiently address the deficits of governance, oversight, investment, environmental integrity, local beneficiation and the use of petroleum resources to advance the cause of the ordinary Nigerian worker and citizen. We call on the two chambers of the National Assembly to immediately commence the process of reviewing the Petroleum Industry Act to reflect the aspirations of Nigerian workers and people.”

Minimum wage

According to NLC “Nigerians would recall that the national minimum wage was signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari in April 2019. Since then, the implementation of the national minimum wage has been a tale of mixed fortunes across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. While some states are in compliance, others are not.

“While most of the states in the North West geopolitical zone have started implementing the new national minimum wage, there is an exception in the case of Zamfara State which has refused to pay the national minimum wage and consequential salary adjustment to workers in the state. In the North East, the exception is Taraba State which is yet to fully implement the new national minimum wage. In the North Central, there are still challenges of full implementation in Benue and Kogi States.

“In the South West, most of the states are already in compliance. In the South South, the weak link is Cross River State which has spurned all negotiation agreements and entreaties to pay workers in the state the new national minimum wage and consequential salary adjustment. In the South East, the Imo and Abia State Governments remain thorns in the flesh of workers. Apart from refusing to fully implement the national minimum wage and consequential salary increase, the State governments have also been promoting clandestine and rogue labour leaders unknown to the labour movement.

“In line with the directives of the National Executive Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress, we have asked our state councils to commence industrial actions against state government that are yet to implement the new national minimum wage and pension. It is disheartening that amidst the current economic crunch prevalent in the country, some State Governors still need persuasion to pay workers the national minimum wage.”

Insecurity, 2023 elections

NLC also lamented the high insecurity across the country, high cost food items, increasing poverty level and crisis of governance in Nigeria, declaring that workers would not be passive ahead of 2023 general elections.

According to the statement, Two days ago, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released a statement warning that with the increasing siege of insecurity all over the country, there is a huge risk that the 2023 general elections might not take place. This is serious. Nigerians would recall that a similar situation played out during the last governorship election in Anambra State where upsurge in killings, kidnap, militancy, thuggery and sit-at-home directives from non-state actors elicited concerns from a spectrum of stakeholders on the possibility, feasibility and viability of the elections. Fortunately, given the massive deployment of security forces all over the country to Anambra State, INEC was able to conduct free, fair and largely peaceful election in Anambra State.

“Clearly, the current state of insecurity in the country is now no longer a threat just to life and economic activities but also constitutes a potent danger to Nigeria’s democracy. Unlike the Anambra State elections, the variables would not likely be the same in the prosecution of the 2023 general elections as the polls are expected to take place at the same time all over the country and security resources would be thinly spread. There is no gainsaying the fact that all hands must now be on deck to solve once and for all the escalation and persistence of insecurity in different parts of the country.

“It is pursuant to this clarion national call that Nigerian workers would no longer afford to stay on the fence while the country burns and politicians party. Nigerian workers are now ready to proactively engage the political process in the quest for active demands for the recovery of our common sanity and collective wellbeing. After all, Nigeria does not belong to only professional politicians who now see the national endeavor as a cash-out exchange. Certainly, Nigerian workers must make their votes count in 2023.

“Already, the Nigeria Labour Congress has developed a Charter of Demands of minimal irreducible expectations of the Nigerian people from the ruling political class. The Congress aspires to use this document to engage politicians and leaders of thought going into the 2023 elections. There is no gainsaying the fact that the era of cheap political sloganeering has passed. Now, Nigerian electorate led by the working class are ready to ask the pertinent questions of development.

“We would demand from politicians and the political class the dividends of the investment of our hopes for a stronger, inclusive and resilient economy; a Nigeria that is secured, stable, sustainable, peaceful and united; a Nigeria of equal opportunities where the child of the cobbler can still aspire to reach the top through a dint of integrity, resourcefulness, hard work, and faith; a country where public infrastructure works and inspires pride in citizens; a Nigeria where workers and pensioners reap the fruits of their reward on earth especially through prompt payment of decent wages cum pension benefits; and a land where the things that sustain a productive and full life are available, abundant and affordable.”

Sports › Natacha Rodriguez Claims To Have Spent A Night With Cristiano Ronaldo by neolboy(op): 8:19pm On Sep 06, 2021
Portuguese model Natacha Rodriguez has claimed that the she spent the night with Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rodriguez claims that, after two months of messaging, the pair slept together not long after Ronaldo had met his current partner, Georgina Rodriguez.

"It was 1am and I sent him a photo of my bum with the words 'Enormous kiss' as a joke," Rodriguez told The Sun.

"I never thought he'd reply. But at 6am he messaged me and things went from there. Looking back, I wish I hadn't."

Things started back in 2015 when Ronaldo was still in a relationship with Irina Shayk.

"I couldn't believe I was walking into Cristiano Ronaldo's apartment," she added.

"My heart was racing but he was very nice and sweet and told me to act as if I was in my home.

"I took my shoes off and poured myself a juice before sitting down next to him. We spoke about his apartment and where I was from.

"I then took the lead, stood up, took down my trousers and bent over to show him my bottom. He smacked it and said he loved it."

According to Rodriguez, Ronaldo messaged after the pair slept together in March 2017.

"I enjoyed it. We will see each other again one day. Top secret, please. Kisses," she said he wrote to her.

Ronaldo then proceeded to cut off contact, blocking her on all platforms and she believes he could do the same to his current partner.

"Cristiano dropped me like a brick and he could do the same to Georgina," she said.

"They say leopards never change their spots and professional footballers get a lot of attention from beautiful women who throw themselves at them. It will be the same in Manchester as it was in Europe.

"Cristiano would be a great catch for anyone and Georgina must keep an eye on him if there's to be trust between them and a future for them.

"I was hurt by the way he dumped me by blocking me on Instagram after we slept together, and it still hurts now.

"There's always going to be a before and after in my life with Cristiano and the feeling there could have been more for us, even if we didn't end up becoming boyfriend and girlfriend."

Despite the incident, she wished Ronaldo a happy life.

"I read Cristiano has re-signed for Manchester United and I'm happy for him. I think Georgina will want to and should move to Britain with him," she concluded.
"Despite what happened with us, I hope and pray they stay together and stay in love.

"They seem to make the perfect couple and, despite everything, I think Cristiano could have changed as a person and a partner. His family has grown and he's older and wiser."
