In my quest to get a good web designer that I can outsource websites to as usual I followed the link to one of the critic's website www.webworkstudio.net (by the way Neptune, you got your website name wrong, check your profile page).

I met a black page and on clicking to proceed to the main page I came across a very beautiful design (unfortunately, on the web such graphics have no place) and non functional links. After about 10 minutes I was still seeing 7% (I guess the flash work was still loading) and a small message that says I should check back very soon.

A link to his featured works work have helped me but there was no link on that phrase.

As for my site. Its just there to so case stuff that i've done. the supposed links at the top are not links they are things i do. right on top of that is 'profile' where u can see my contact information.

Just to be clear about the whole getting things wrong thinggy. I was trying to give you an idea of what you should be doing not trying to make you use or copy that exact template.

look at the way that is and use the idea from now on whenever you design your sites. it'll really help

Afam, i dont think you should bother your self trying to design websites. i know ur a very sensitive guy so dont take this the wrong way. just get templates or use them as a guide to creating yours. The 2 site u posted are basically 1 site, each having different products. now if you are using the sites to showcase your programming skills, its a different thing. but if its for a client then, ok. back to the sites, for the furniture site, check this out http://www.finerdesign.com/website-templates/template-19630.html. that should save me alot of typing. look at the way that is and use the idea from now on whenever you design your sites. it'll really help. key things you should keep in mind are: 1. background colour(s). they bring sites out. 2. banners (attractive ones). they tell 55% story about the site without you having to click about us (believe it or not) and lastly arraingement. hope this helps!

hi 'aspiring folk' , i acctually did everything from scratch with coreldraw & photopaint. (not photoshop). i seem to prefer photopaint to photoshop (dunno why )
anything else u need to know? and oh, i did'nt use brushes!

there are a lot of solutions to this but i'll give u the easiest and believe me it works. i tested it myself. ok. Just login with another id and uncheck the remember password options, then relogin with yours and rember to uncheck remember password. simple. that should do the trick.

there's a company located in obalende in need a a web designer who has php/programming skills. That's the best i can say. They do web design and software dev. and its a serious company with serious clients. working environment is very comfortable.

i use dreamweaver & frontpage. the new front page is now Microsoft Web Designer, so theres no more frontpage. and personally, i prefer front page. after learning the basics, i prefer to think microsoft is just trying to make things easy for everybody unlike what people like this 

Microsoft is not ready to make their software flexible for web development.

think. just make sure that anyone of them u use, u get to know the basics, i.e u know what you're doing so when u have to use things like note pad to design a site u don't go"can u design a site on notepad?"

looking at just the home page, the site looks real cool to me. the logo is tight! (luuuv that logo). The home, contact and site map icons dont work though. but all together nice one bro.

ok, the home link can be bigger. and as for implementing changes, i told u i was waiting for more materials from the client n when i get them, i'll make the changes. so dont be annoyed if u dont see the changes immediatly.

i still don't get. the bakground of the site is olive green not black. The arnion logo is white, so is the yahoo link. . . (and all of them have a transparent background)

my2cents,

about the home link & title page being on the left, i dont think the site is too wide (or is it?). so you don't really have to loooook left. its just there. but i really understand you point though. plus i like doing things a little different sometimes (lol)

The whole y! link & co stuff really bugg'd me out too, i'm still working on taking it out.

I'm not much of a programmer i just design stuff. as for the 'non-breaking space', i'm working on that too.

All the pages are definitly going to have the same look as the home page (as regards the white area) but i'm not really digging the rounded corner stuff. I prefer the whole rectangular look for the site. corners bring a whole new look into the whole thing.

I contact page. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . , , might have a form.

As for images, i'll work on those too

For the page titles (welcome being on the left and others on the right) i have a reason for arrainging them like that.

for now i'm waiting for content from the client, when i get them i'll make them changes.
