I only prepared for the writing with writing9dotcom. I didn't have to prepare much becuase I had previous experience with an expired test.

I'm currently processing with them, I was debited for the form a charges last week but have still not been debited the school fees.

Got my Passport yesterday all thanks to the information I gathered on this thread.

It was a passport renewal. I gathered my documents and went to submit them at the festac office. Did capturing the same day - 21st Jan and my passport was ready on the 21st Feb.

The process was seamless and less stressful.

PS: Before you go for submission, please ensure that the required documents are complete, this is because they look for every means to send your back.

I didn't receive any collection mail. I made sure to get the contact of one of the officials and was following up with him.

I don’t think it should, Acca will only be sending your transcript while you send your certificate or any other evidence of membership

Honestly, No one knows what the next cut-off will be. But judging from the last draw, the stand a good chance.
First you need to start from somewhere -ielts and Wes and crs should be your goal now.

Discipline: Accounting and Finance(Bsc)
Work experience: 5 years.
Professional qualifications: ACA,ACCA,ACMA(CIMA).

Please note; I used my ACA to claim exemptions for both my ACCA, and CIMA.
Please folks, do I stand a chance at all?? What are the odds??

Or Do I go the student route??

1. Evaluate your ACCA because it gives you a masters equivalent.
2. Write ielts(general) and try to max out, by making out I mean L - 9 R- 9 W- 7 S- 8.5

Visit page 1 to read and understand as all the beginners info is there.

Once you have finished 1 and 2, you should at 471 or higher.

do you jot while listening or it is just best to fill your answers as you listen?

I did Computer based test and no time is given after the test to transfer you answers and so you have to write as you listen

For listening just make sure you don’t loose concentration even for a second because you could loose marks easily if you do.
Read the questions through before the record starts playing as this will help you to predict the possible answer.
Be sure to also read the instructions eg. Only one word, one word and/or a number etc, this will help you to know what to expect.

Yeah made a mistake. Since modified em.

The person truly needs a minimum 8 in listening. So can't fail more than 4 questions

During my last ielts in September, I could actually swear that I got just one question wrong and when the result came out I had. 7.5 in listening, 7.5 Fam!
