Dear UK parliament, I will be so damn appreciative as u take a bold step to hand my useless country a tough sanction. 1. Nigeria-Uk military training ban 2. Military wares/Ammunition sales ban 3. High ranging military officials ban from traveling to the UK 4. Foreign trade sanction 5. Declare Nigeria president a persona non-grata to the UK or Europe. etcetera. Imagine rounding people up like a common criminals and mowed them down. Pathetic! |
But Nigeria is a signatory to certain int'l treaties that's binding on all other nation states abi?? U are claiming sovereign nonsense, this ai the reason why int'l laws exists to checkmate lawless country like Nigeria. Nigeria is a failed state cos of northern Nigeria. Every reason Nigeria is backwards is cos of northern part of the country. People were killed at lekki toll gate because a northerner order the mindless killing of unarmed citizens. The north's authoritarian tendencies responsible for killing innocent civilians in a civilized world order. How do u explain this to a reasonable mind, that a constitutional democratic nation decided to rather ordered her solders shoot at her own citizens whose only crime was because it protested for a change of govt and a end to police brutality. thebosstrevor1: |
Alh. Lai Muhammed has lost all honorable respect as a result of his irresponsible latest work. Are u kidding me, does Lai Muhammed thinks if this matter drag unnecessarily Nigerians won't side with CNN and testify against govt? He shouldn't drag his luck too far. He has thrown decorum overboard. A true omoluabi won't even accept this job in the first place. |
U deserve a 3D slap! Moronic slave. Ur gullibility is second to none. Can't just read btw the line that this letter is damage control, trying to put up a defense before any int'l sanction after CNN damning evidence against the govt. What many of u don't understand is, govt officials are fighting tooth and nails in order to defend Buhari. It's clearly a case of crime against humanity to preside over a govt that have solders killing unarmed civilians is punishable offense at ICC. helinues: |
I supposed that's DJ switch at UK parliament committee?? Arysexy: |
U don't know anything! Where were u during Jonathan regime? Didn't u see how waiver was been given to every dick and Harry to import all sort of fake products? Igbo presidency isn't bad but they will make rubbish of it. More so, I don't see any difference btw igb and hausa leadership style. Igbos are not detribalised very tribalistic and they will make bastard of federal character just like Buhari is doing. Nigeria should separate into 3countries of Yoruba, igbo and hausa. Fahdiga: |
It's something to support, it's another to have ur leaders deceitful penchant. andrewmeddy8: |
Was he assassinated? |
They get motivated by abusing and dehumanizing Nigerians, that's their mode of operations. Always flexing muscle with civilians but lacks all necessary know-how capabilities to perform her mandate. U only hear Nigerian military on course to so so and so country but basic rules of military engagement commonly lacking. My common understanding, as in respect to military functions; its always ready to defend the country against external aggression. Military should stop involving itself in the internal security of the country. Lekki shooting is an indictment on the Nigerian political leaders. I think, they need to fully admitted killing unarmed protesters and went away with their corpes in order to cover their tracks. Dong2: |
I'm vindicated really. I have always known the truth will surely come out as the dead will fight it's cause. If not wickedness, how do u kill human beings without owning up for such act. Buhari will go down in history for his anti-people and dreams killer of the century. princepee: |
I have continue to speak against this lies both here on nairaland n on Facebook. Some myopic Nigerians are in tandem with evil. How do u support a govt that is out to kill her citizens instead of protecting them. Hausas think Nigeria start from Kano and end in Abuja. We're all stakeholders with equal rights. I'm just happy this will form a new evidence. No hausa was amongst those killed by security operatives in Lagos. Nigeria military has become a tool in the hands of hausas to gag and intimidate other parts of the country. It's becoming obvious day in day out and we will do the needful. We will take a wonderful steps against the hausa oligarchy. KoleDgreat2020: |
Just as CNN dig-deep to expose the obvious truth hence revelation in batches. Wait for another bomb truth from Nigeria military idiots. Bunch of unprofessional generals. chozzy: |
Animals everywhere. I won't even glorify u with a response. helinues: |
Ur generation and ur own productive generation will suffer in anguish. The evil u wish other fellow humans whose life were cut short untimely shall live with u. Yenefer: |
Ur idiocy is plausible. The media house only said at least; meaning no matter how u lie to underscore d number of people died but at least 1 person died. It's an English word for tendency for a certainty. If people were injured, there are possibility that some people died too. What the heck!! rossniti: |
Thunder fire him for acknowledging and owned up to his convoy security overzealousness. What do u wished he say if not condemn the unfortunate scenario. Did he sanction the killing of someone he himself admitted to be his streets friends when he newly moved to Abuja. Myself, lived in the same quarter at apo-legislative extension zone B'. So lets try to be agent of peay not create division amongst ourselves. Oluwasaeon: |
After careful observation of happenings in this present admin no doubt, we're clearly in a military junta instead of civilian govt (democracy). Democratic constitution, dictate citizens superiority over people in govt. Meaning governance is a social contracts btw the govern and governor. It's not the opposite! Lekki shooting comes to mind, the accused and counter accusations btw d military and govt. We see how shameful the govt is trying so hard to suppress the reue evidence of unarmed protesters killed by solders. It's evident, how desperate the regime want to silence the crime against humanity. All that had happened can easily be trace to military era, where people's right are trampled upon. |
I said this in an ensued argument btw myself n one troll on Facebook last month. Lest be honest to ourselves. This is a very tough corner for everyone in this country. We are witnessing the worst form of dictatorship after transition from military junta. I think d govt will succeed to silent all of us if we give in to this gag and intimidation. Nigeria is our right, we have no other country to call our own but this country. It's our choices to allow this intimidation to affect us into silence. The grand plan is to scare us to boycott any possible protest to demand that which is our right. The constitution is there for all of us to expunged if u don't know. Nigeria isn't a banna republic, it's a constitutional democracy with international laws. Pls fellow Nigerians, we need to raise our voices, fight for our freedom against the establishment of this country. Be wise and get urselves together, aluta asata. #ENDBADGOVERNMENT#NOTONEPOTISM#NOTOOFFICIALCORRUPTION#NOTOSOCIALMEDIALBILL#WENEEDOURFREEDOMS |
Sustain the momentum, refuse to be silence, freedom isn't given, it is taken. We are in a new face of military junta.another milestone by Buhari. helinues: |
Ur response is an indictment on Igbo intolerance of other tribe n culture in Nigeria, especially Yoruba from whom they enjoy unmatched benefits in Nigeria. Why hate on someone simply cos she's not from ur tribe? The basis for this misunderstanding is the fact that Peter chose to love the mother of his children which doesn't go down well with okoyes family. This trend is typical of igbos in Nigeria for century. As a Yoruba, we we're growing up with dis syndrome that Igbo can't marry Yoruba, any daughter or sons of igbo extraction who goes against this norms will be disowned. Paul is being too petty and I'm so disappointed with over the years. I mean, how do u explain this hate to Peter's children when they became full grown? That u hated their mom cos their father chosed to love her and preferred to sacrifice family relationship? This is so senseless. Why not respect his choice of wife and damn consequences and stop being obsolete. Onyi22: |
U can't eat ur cake and have...Nigeria is signatory to so many int'l human rights treaties which have see to sanctions against other nationalities. sammy329: |
loyedammy:The individual will be responsible for their actions sectioned while in govt. Human being are responsible for govt decisions. |

“It’s the best form of policing and a global phenomenon. I was part of the team that went to do the research. @ bolded. Who and who agreed that community policing is the best form policing? What happened to state police that is apparently the best practiced all over the world. Community policing is a northern idea in defiant to agitated states police which captured restructuring of the country. Northerns keep postponing their doomsday. |
I told people this govt is evil and antipeople. Buhari is animal in human flesh. How he managed his crafts to deceive many of us myself inclusive. We will end up fighting against the north in conventional war to free ourselves otherwise, this people have succeeded in taking us for slaves. For God's sake, we are secular country but these people are trying to force Islamic sharia culture down our throats. The earlier we wake up to reality the better for our lives together. Nobody has a monopoly of violence. Awarewa: |
I was one of those who actually thought so but I blame myself for that decision. imagine Buhari, the "I had no dollar or million to give u but I offer u myself to serve u" this was at the APC primary. That man today is making a hell out of the people he was offering himself to serve. Now Buhari want to silent our voices, he is taking our constitutional rights away from us he has succeeded running our economy aground and now he wants us to rather die in silence. But I believe freedom isn't given it's taken, this trend is an attempt to keep us in communicado, they dont want our voices heard but we can either accept or fight for our fundamental rights as enshrined. Gov season politician. I admire is political philosophy. To why he decamped, well as they say, politics is a game of who get what, when and how. The intrigues continues in earnest. As a politician, politics it's what it is, a game of interest but unfortunately, Nigerian politicians manipulates the people to get this personal interest secured. Such a shame! NNEWIsuper: |
I have cause to believe that super eagles consecutive winless games was not a coincidence but stylish way of protest in solidarity against police brutality and lekki toll gate killing by Nigerian solders against unarmed civilians. We should understand that, if they display this tact to the govt, it may have a ripple effect for them. So I win win for Nigerian youths. A friend closer to one of the star player told me this early yesterday. |
I don't know why everyone thinks only in Lagos business strive. The whole northerners/Eatherners want to migrates to Lagos for greener pastures, where do u leave the real lagosians to run their own? Every states in Nigeria collect allocation, I only wonders why they are not putting it in good use for the benefit of the people. If the state have a law that prohibit motorcycles is it northerners that will revoke such law, while they are having free for all destroying other people's businesses in the North using sharia as if we're an Islamic country. Pls north and others should respect themselves. jchioma: |
