Nigerians don´t know measurements. Ibadn to lagos is 131km. Is the whole of dangote refinery as big as the distance between lagos to ibadan that a single road within the refinery will be 120km? How long is even the whole lenght of road from lekki to V.i? 1 Like |

Why is old news just making it to front page? Ekimogun day is always held in September and that last one was held on sept 3 2023. Now it is being pushed to front page like it is something that just recently happened. Shouldn't the front page be for recent news updated events? 1 Like |

cenaman: Oga stop capping. No 2 year old can speak fluently. They can at most join few sentences together and maybe use words like pee pee or poo poo to indicate they want to ease themselves if they are already potty trained by then. And has for your 1yr old already stopping to wear pampers, bros just biko stop lying. It is only just poverty that will make u stop using pampers for a 1yr old not that he doesn't need it anymore. 1 yr olds are basically just walking & all they do at this age is blab and can't even use words to express their desires yet!! 1 Like |

Or11: Oga no one will sue you for sacking a newly employed staff after one week in the developed world. In the developed world, there is a probation period of 3-6 months where you are allowed to terminate a newly employed staff for mistakes made. Its after 6 months that it becomes difficult because the staff is now a confirmed staff. So coming 2 work late twice within one week is a valid reason to sack a staff still on probation even in the developed world! |

VON is voice of Nigeria a national broadcasting services that is supposed to be politically neutral in a democracy & report all issues as it cuts across board without bias. The DG and staffs of such service should not be seen holding partisan political views but in wat buhari has done to Nigeria, a DG of a national broadcasting service is plainly political and even a stooge of d ruling party. This is something u will never see or hear from a corresponding office holder in such national broadcasting service as BBC, Deutsche welle or France 24. Even as partisan as aljazeera is, their DG won't publicly say such views. Truly wat buhari cannot destroy doesn't exist |

Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by nevilbot: 8:26am On Oct 02, 2021 |
ops84: The rule on schenghen visas to d best of my knowledge is that u most ist fly into the country that issued it. After it is stamped in that country's point of entrance, u can then move around in d schenghen region without further visa checks for max 90 days. So with a polish student visa (note:student visas ain't schenghen visas but national visas, schenghen visas are restricted to visiting visas), you will ist need to fly into Poland for it to be stamped by their immigrations at point of entry. You can actually take a flight that has a stop over in Germany or any other country for that matter where u come out and change flights enroute to Poland, but u won't be allowed to come out to general visa check area and your movement within the airport will be restricted to transit areas. 2 Likes |

Jerryherd: Your submission that Persia didn't invade or annex anyone is totally false. Google could av helped you in your research before u posted this. King xerxes of Persia was d one who invaded Babylon and brought Babylon to dust as a world power. Xerxes also invaded present day Greece . d movie 300 was based on historical facts of one of the resistance of a Greek city to the heavy tax system of Persia. Tyre in present day Lebanon was also at one time conquered and ruled by Persia. It ws Alexander the great who eventually stopped the invasion of Persia and ended it as a world power so biko get your facts right. Persia that became present day Iran was ruled by the xerxes linage in the past that went on conquest up to Egypt and Greece in europe |

There is just one solution to this dichotomy problem and our fg is so backward thinking that they can't generate the balls to do it. The solution simply lies in converting all the polytechnics to university of applied sciences. That was what German did to solve that problem when they had this same issue. Same with the uk whose educational model we copied to create polytechnics in d ist place. Anglia Ruskin university was formerly Anglia Ruskin polytechnic. They should turn them all to uni of applied sciences running 4 years degree programs equipping students with effective practical skills for the world of work with an industry focused syllabus. That's what all forward thinking countries av done to move away from polytechnics. In Germany, HND from Nigeria only qualifies you for bsc admission to start year 1 so y are we still holding on to this vestige of the past 13 Likes 1 Share |

SouthSouth1914: What you called the racist drum is the sad reality of blacks in the us of a. It is a scenario that has been replayed over and over in similar situations with this white woman who we can say was having a health related emotional meltdown. In those cases where they were black they ended up being shot not with tasers but with guns and I can give u specific examples if you want. So I can place a wager on it that this woman escape not cus her life was respected but cus she was white and I can assure u I will be 70% right |

I'm a natural size 45 but the nike 45 and 46 that I have I could only wear them for few times as they are very uncomfy and tight. After few minutes of wearing, my feets are already screaming. Maybe Nike wants me to go for 47 which is scarce even on their website. Puma is it for me bill, comfy airy and soft padded. |

booscy: Bros walahi ororo too dey your head. I have said it before to someone, this was a perfectly planned coup. The BBC report said only 5 soilders died in the battle while about 200 rebels were killed with about 350 arrested. So out of the 5 army personnel that died It was just so convinient that d president of a whole country was one of them. The haste with which d son abolished the constitution , dismantled the parliament and took over power sef points to it as a perfectly planned insider coup. They only used the rebel attack as cover to deflect attention from them ni so as to avoid international uproar |

Yes I have. During nysc posting in IMO state. Lost a posting at the state ministry of health to another guy who studied the same course as me because he was Igbo and I was not. We even both had to see the commissioner and what played out in front of me was surreal. But losing that posting was a blessing in disguise. Ended up serving in a sec school teaching biology and that was where I met my helper another wonderful Igbo woman who catapulted me to where I am today with a loan of 1m back in 2014. I pray for that woman everyday and on my next trip home I'm going to travel all d way to owerri to surprise that angelic woman 4 Likes |
