There is just one solution to this dichotomy problem and our fg is so backward thinking that they can't generate the balls to do it.

The solution simply lies in converting all the polytechnics to university of applied sciences. That was what German did to solve that problem when they had this same issue. Same with the uk whose educational model we copied to create polytechnics in d ist place. Anglia Ruskin university was formerly Anglia Ruskin polytechnic.

They should turn them all to uni of applied sciences running 4 years degree programs equipping students with effective practical skills for the world of work with an industry focused syllabus. That's what all forward thinking countries av done to move away from polytechnics.

In Germany, HND from Nigeria only qualifies you for bsc admission to start year 1 so y are we still holding on to this vestige of the past

Please how can one book an interview appointment at the embassy. The number on the embassy site isn't being picked and my cousin was told by someone she would av to pay 120k to get an interview slot by some Nigerians she met at d embassy when she went for certification

Pls note polish Embassy does not like the use of foreign sponsors for whatever reason. So if she does not have any Nigerian based sponsor Then I will suggest you fund a cash back credit card in her name at any first bank or access bank in Nigeria . Then she request that they give her a certificate of credit card limit in her name upon request. This way she can come across as self sponsored.

If she is going for bsc I will strongly recommend
You try to get a Nigerian based sponsor . History has shown.that the embassy prefers bsc candidates to have a sponsor (Nigerian based)

If you have a sponsor :

1. Make sure they are earn a salary from 550k a month and up. Collect their 3 most recents pay slips, certified letter of employment and their ID . Along with a notarized letter of sponsorship. Submit those to the embassy as proof of funds
OR

2. Ask your sponsor to deposit minimum of 5m into a cash back credit card account at any first bank or access bank. They will be using their Own money as collateral for the credit card. Then have the bank give them a certificate of credit card limit . Submit the certificate along with your sponsors ID and notarized letter of sponsorship to the embassy as proof of funds. In this case because u are using a sponsor the certificate or credit card limit should be in the sponsors name


Remember you can always combine both options (certificate of credit card limit and payslips)

You can also use more than one sponsor.

If you are self sponsored :
use the certificate of credit card limit option. Remember since u are self sponsored it should be in your name.

Yes I have. During nysc posting in IMO state. Lost a posting at the state ministry of health to another guy who studied the same course as me because he was Igbo and I was not. We even both had to see the commissioner and what played out in front of me was surreal.

But losing that posting was a blessing in disguise. Ended up serving in a sec school teaching biology and that was where I met my helper another wonderful Igbo woman who catapulted me to where I am today with a loan of 1m back in 2014. The project and many other ones in d south senatorial district were actually started by agagu using proceeds from oil revenue via the osopadec office. Mimiko came in and stopped them all and for d 8 years he spent in office, all money to osopadec were diverted and "choplated"

Nope it was abandoned for 8 years by mimiko to punish the south senatorial district for not voting for him. This and many other projects started by agagu in the south senatorial district were abandoned by mimiko. Other projects abandoned include but not limited to the olokola free trade zone where dangote was supposed to initially site his refinery but he moved it to Lagos because the govnor refused to show interest, d construction of motorable road to link the riverine communities to igbokoda; this project was left d way agagu left it. D 8 years rule of mimiko was 8 years of suffering for d south senatorial district

Stop spreading misinformation. No country shut schools since day 1. Germany only shut schools this week after over 7000 cases, France also shut this week, Denmark only just shut schools last week. Most countries had over 1000 cases before schools were shut. And I know cus I live in a city where there is over 100 cases and schools were only just shut down on Monday.

We lack Basic ist aid skills in Nigeria. People who tried to help him contributed to his death by crowding round him and suffocating him with heat. The way they crowded round him will make it difficult for him to get enough air. Plus d guy with d hand on his chest should have been pumping his heart while giving mouth to mouth to make sure his airways were opened while trying to resuscitate his heart. That's basic CPR before the ambulance arrives.

Now I understand why other advanced countries make it compulsory to take a ist aid course before you can be issued a drivers licence. We really have a long way to go in Nigeria

As much as I'm not saying the army is 100% truthful in their war against boko haram, yes it is against laws guiding wars and international conventions to show photos or videos of slain opponents in wars. It is also a war crime to torture captured enemies and can be taken up by the ICC in Hague. So you might not see pictures from the army to back up their claims cus its against international laws. They can only show pics and videos of camps and buildings and cars destroyed not the actual people killed.

But as our Nigerian army no dey obey laws, we might see some pictures

Then u had to fly on Monday on a 6 hour flight and it was after u arrived that u called d ambulance. So she was in a coma for close to 24 hours at d least before medical help came and she was not already dead by then. Biko tell that to people who don't understand how medical coma works.
