As good as the information is, d long 11 digit emergency numbers spoilt it. Who will have d presence of mind in an emergency to remember 11 digits no or be scrolling thru phone to locate police number that might even be picked by an officer who is not mentally ready to respond to emergency.

Are the police saying that it is impossible for them to have a unified 3 digits nationwide emergency number with a central response centre in 2019!!

That's a very long way to travel for perishable goods to get to Cameroon and I don't see it as cost effective or sensible.

Your conclusion is still wrong. Nigeria is the last country in west Africa geographically and we share border with central Africa via Cameroon. The fact they are so close to us does not place them in the west.

I am not heartless. The fact your brother took the route and is now living fine does still not make it right. How many percentage of them now live fine? For your info, I live in Europe and I know what these guys go thru even when they eventually get to this Europe illegally. Many of them run from city to city to try avoid deportation after the foreigners offices might have heard their cases and decide there is no merit in them that warrants them to stay. Many of their ladies gets pregnant just to avoid deportation thinking once they give birth, its automatic papers.Or u think once they get to Europe, its wholla welcome to eldorado? I can go on and on about what they still have to face in Europe and I'm sure there are things your brother haven't told u, that's y u assume he is living fine.

For 50 that get to Europe thru that route, 150 are trapped and scarred for life. Another 50 are trapped in a prostitution ring in Italy, another 50 are trapped in a job scam ring in Germany where they use d papers of someone else to work illegally and the person cheats them of their money cus he knows they can't go to the police. So its easy for u to sit in the comfort of your home in Nigeria and assume I'm heartless for speaking it as it is to your face. Even someone close to me is trapped in such a job scam ring and I know the stress she is putting me and the family thru cus of it. If half of the money she used in going was used to start up a bizness in Nigeria, she would still be OK and able to pay for the basic things in Nigeria and live fine.

You guys just want to paint Nigeria as if only politicians live fine in it. As if no one is doing legit business and surviving in it. I'm not saying don't travel if u feel u av to be outside Nigeria to succeed. But travel legally to save yourself and your loved ones stress and heartaches and sleepless nights. What's the point of traveling out if u will see a police officer and u are shiting in your pants already thinking he is looking at u and might ask for your papers?

What is not right is not right and if u take an action knowing fully well the risk in it, then u should be prepared to bear the consequences that result from it either good or bad.

If u take a wrong decision that goes against common sense and sound judgment, you deserve to bear the brunt of your wrong decision and be prepared to suffer the consequences.

Its just like saying someone who decided to jump in front of a moving bus doesn't deserve d pains he will get when his bones get crushed.

How will you see a country that has being at war for years with no central govt in control of many of the cities and u are saying that's where you want to pass through to Europe and you expect not to suffer.

How do they even think passing thru the desert and the sea to get to Europe without passport and visa will not make them suffer?

As much as i pity them and their igorance, lets put emotional sentiments aside and say it as it is.They deserve whatever they get for their ill-informed decisions. The money many of these peeps spend on this risky journey is enuf to start something profitable in Nigeria !

Thats because you don't understand the difference in season BTW Africa and Europe. So you think its like Africa where the sun sets by 6:45pm almost all year round abi. In Europe during spring and summer, by that 7:45pm (6:45pm in Nigeria) you are referring to, the sun is still out and shining and blazing. Sun does not set in Europe during these seasons until after 9pm and at the peak until after 10pm and d sun is already out by 4am. The match started in europe by 9pm CET . by this time, the sun was still up. This will account for why he didn't break his fast until 9:25pm Netherlands time because that was when d sun went down. Ramadan fasting is dictated daily by the rising and setting of the sun in your specific location. It is not uniform all over the world

There is no case in this case. The phrase Danny young is claiming tiwa used is a generic Yoruba proverb that predates even the great grand fathers of the two of them. No one can lay claim to it without patent. Dannie young did not at any time get a patent on the phrase so he can't prevent anyone from using it. It is a Yoruba proverb that people use daily in conversations except if he also wants d entire Yoruba race to stop using the proverb

You are d dull one because if you are not dull, you will know that a PLC is a public liability company traded on d floor of Nigerian stock exchange with any member of public buying shares to own part of it during an IPO.

This company was solely owned by federal government before obasanjo took it to the stock market during his time in a bid to revitalise it. It is not owned by an individual but a group of investors who buy shares and anyone can buy shares of a listed company.
