In fact, I think I'd need like 3. I'll be paying for it - I just need someone to buy and bring it. And if you're in Italy and have one you are willing to sell - Vorrei comprarlo.
Thanks guys. I can't sell mine, but I can share with you. In Africa, we don't heal in isolation, but in community. I am in Rome though. |

Mcowubaba: [i]I think you're a wise man from your reasoning.
What work What immigration legitimate plan ^^^^^^^ This is very important, if the can't give you any good explanation of what you will be doing in Denmark, how you'll get into Denmark? What type of Visa and the conditions? Do the want you to come with a Visit or tourist visa, then the start playing pranks on how you'll get Residence after the expiration of the Visit or tourist Visa, if caught you'll be most likely DEPORTED to Ikeja MM2.
Denmark is not immigration friendly like Canada, Ireland, "USA" to the best of my knowledge.
The best bet for immigration in your case, should be through Study. Ie students visa.. I don't really know your academy background and interest, but from your write up I can see you're recently doing some courses in IT. Information Technology is one of the most Lucrative sector in developed Countries, especially for Immigrants. An immigrant with good IT skills will easily get a work permit, residential permits, good job etc. IT workers are on high demand. I'm talking about advanced level of IT, combination of various skills (programming, web design, software development, Telenetworking, Telemarketing, internet security, database administrator, etc) Not just Proficiency in Microsoft Office like me ...
Unless the can find a good/ELIGIBLE Job/work for YOU, then with that you can apply for a Work Visa to Denmark.
Or Faking that you are an asslym seeker, probably fleeing from prosecution due to your beliefs (probably Gay ) Such applications are rarely Successful for Nigerian applicants.
Denmark is not so friendly to all that unlike Canada, Denmark refused to even take in Syrian refuges, the built a wall on their border immediately , (I hope I'm right, I can't really remember, but I think it was them)
Denmark is a Scandinavian Country. That's a good advantage.
But the don't speak English, the speak German and Danish. They speak English very well in the Scandinavian countries compared to places like Italy, Spain etc. |

dejiconde: U talk about skills, wat kinda lucrative skills can some1 learn before coming over bcuz am planning of learning photography and apart from skills how much do students get paid that can foot the bill of rent. Hmmmn IT skills, I think could be useful in this context (my view though) I have not taken any part time job so I don't have the idea of how much employees pay. But I think you can get something around €10 to €18 p/hr (depending on the industry and work) but you cannot work beyond 20hrs per/wk. (unlimited during summer) Don't let me raise a false hope or discourage you, the truth is that it is not easy to find student jobs in Rome, but it is not impossible. It may be different in Milan, I don't know yet. As I said earlier, depending on your skills, you can still get a student job, particularly if you have some unique skills in deman; even at that, you have to compete with locals who have the advantage of speaking English. All the same, impossible is nothing. Auguri! |

(I think Milan is a little bit high) Student jobs are few and competitive, but if you have some skills, speak Italian and you have connections with the local, you may get something to augment your pocket money or pay rent. If you study schedule permits you to take up student job in your first 2 semesters, lucky you. |

sentaljohn: 10. Bello, the Nigerian Chimp Boy
Date found: 1996 Age when found: 2 Location: Nigeria Years in the wild: 1 Animals: chimps Bello, the Nigerian Chimp Boy was found in 1996, at the age of about two. Both mentally and physically disabled, he had probably been abandoned by his parents at the age of about six months, a common practice with disabled children among the Fulani, a nomadic people who range great distances over the west African Sahel region. Believed to have been adopted and raised by chimpanzees, Bello was found with a chimpanzee family in the Falgore forest, 150 km south of Kano in northern Nigeria. When the story reached the news agencies some six years later in 2002, Bello had been living at the Tudun Maliki Torrey home in Kano. When first discovered, Bello walked like a chimpanzee, using his legs but dragging his arms on the ground. He would leap about at night in the dormitory, disturbing the other children, smashing and throwing things. Six years later Bello was much calmer, but would still leap around in a chimpanzee-like fashion, make chimpanzee-like noises, and clap his cupped hands over his head repeatedly. Bello died in 2005. |

olujastro: Wanderlustian, great thread I must say!
I love adventures as well and I'm planning a Euro trip this summer. I haven't done this before. I first got inspired to do this several years ago during my bachelors programme in Nigeria after watching the movie "Euro Trip". Now with your audacious step, I long for this more. Could have taken a vacation for it while working in Nigeria but I was getting tired of things there and decided to put my money together for a masters degree in Europe, and from there embark on my adventurous trip.
I'm looking at spending at least 1 day in say 7 countries but not more than 10 days for the entire trip. From the little mapping I did this morning I managed to come up with a tentative route. From Norway where I reside, fly to Amsterdam(Netherlands), train to Brussels(Belgium), to Paris(France), to Stuttgart(Germany), to Zurich(Switzerland), to Milan(Italy), and fly from Milan finally back to Norway.
My budget for the entire trip is around 500 Euros. I hope that will be sufficient to cover all expenses? From your experience, train will be my best option to quickly touch all these places in a short time.
I hope my friend here decides to join me on this cos it looks like you wouldn't have enjoyed your trip without your baby's company. Chao! When will you be in Milano? There is going to be Milan week btw. 4th-7th April,2007 which I plan going. I reside in Roma. I would like to connect with you if your itinerary coincendentally meets mine. Ciao. |

styles2009: What kind of resident permit do you have in Italy? i guess Permesso di Soggiorno per motivi di Studio probably with a 2 years validity, if yes sorry to burst your bubble, you need a visa to study in Germany and also with a DB block account of the required amount of 8670 Euros and an admission letter to a University or Poly in DE.
Also be prepared to be asked this question from the Visa officer in Rome, why you decided to change your study to Germany from Italy and give a good answer to that. (If you are going for a English language degree, you know what to say and if it's a German language degree course, proof of German is needed) The embassy staffs in Rome are very nice, friendly and supportive with any information you asked them through email and they get back to you within 2 days to my experience. Lastly you can only apply for a German study visa,if you are already more than 6 months in Italy, which i believe you have passed.
Wishing you all the best in your endeavor to change country of study. Ciao! Thanks so much for your explanation. No bubble to burst, because I didn't even inflate any bubble I am only weighing my options. Yes, I am on a permit to stay for the purpose of study. Yes, I expect admission letter as part of req. dox to apply for study visa in any embassy. It seems you have been through the path, because you have a detailed information about the embassy in Rome. Thank you so much for this piece of info. |

Eke40seven: Statutorily its 8,670 I guess or if you can prove an alternative means, like sponsorship, scholarship, etc There is a trend of Italian students coming over here to study. Thanks so much for the detailed explanation, I eventually got the information by myself too. I don't follow trend. I am only trying to explore new things. One of the key reasons why I came to study in Europe is learning and sharing knowledge in a competitive academic environment, with multicultural background. I also want to learn other languages, but not at the detriment of the ones I already speak. In my own opinion, I believe I could get this best of these factors in Germany, and percentage of English language speakers in Germany is far more higher compared to what we have here. I am still weighing my options though. |

Hello family, I am glad to be here once again. I used to be an observer on the 1st thread of General German Visa Enquiries Now to my question oo, my people. I am currently studying in Italy(1st year) and I would like to cross to Germany to continue my studies. I already have a residence permit for the purpose of study in Italy, so I don't need a visa to Germany, but I need to obtain a residence permit within the first 3months according to my research. Now, I would like to know how much I need to deposit in blocked account with German bank to obtain residence permit. I would also like to have survival tips for international students in Berlin Thank you all in anticipation. |

My cousin has been hustling since that 2003, he's been into photography and event video recording for survival. Would that be sufficient enough ?
Thanks once again. Can he provide a document to back up the idle years? Can he write a statement of purpose as per why he choose to go back to school, what he tends to achieve and benefit in the proposed course, what he plans doing after his studies in Italy? If he can write up a convincing letter base on these highlights, with supporting documents which proves his capability, I think he stands a chance. I am an entrepreneur, who has left conventional academic environment since 2004 (though I never stopped education outside the school ) I proved to the visa officer what I have been doing since then till when I applied for my visa, and he has no option than to grant me the visa.
