Oya coman blame Buhari.

Many Nigerians just like pointing fingers. They don't want to accept their own fault.

You blamed GEJ and called him corrupt but you're in Computer Village selling fufu and fake charger for people. Yet, GEJ was the only problem Nigeria has not you.

You're blaming Buhari for poor development but you won't allow telecoms cables in your town until they settle you. Yet you're not corrupt, only the police is corrupt.

Stop pointing fingers at people, point your finger at yourself first. In fact, did you know? That every time you point a finger at someone, you're pointing four at yourself.

Don't change your ways. Keep expecting one Messiah to come and fix the country that you're raping.

I'll keep saying it; anybody that collected gift bribe from any politician in the last election and is now complaining of bad governance, may thunder fire his mouth. And I don't care whether your favourite party/candidate won or not. You're one of the problems that Nigeria needs to feed to her dogs in sambisa.

Buhari is the current president.
You cannot leave him from the issues. He has been there for five years.

A lot can change in five years.

I am not asking you to oust anybody. I am asking you to vote better in 2023.

Don't be quick to vote for the establishment.
Who should I vote for?

I don't vote because no Nigerian politician deserves my vote.

The only solution to Nigeria's problems is to build a generation of people who have sincerity of purpose. People who won't take bribe and won't prefer family over national interest.

And your statement of voting better in 2023 isn't the best. According to you, we should vote the "right person", sit back and watch him perform miracles while we don't change our ways. There's no way Nigeria can be better if each and every one of us don't change our ways.

Our leaders aren't the only ones raping this country. Virtually everyone working in a government agency is guilty of raping this country.

Buhari has been in power for five years now and cannot point to one world class tertiary hospital he has built.
What then has he done?

That is not excluding the other hopeless leaders you people have been electing since 1999.

In 2023, you would still elect another useless leader that you are very familiar with.
And you had to make it a Buhari issue again!!!
Okay, lemme ask you a honest question. If we oust Buhari today, who will develop this country?

There's no way forward if we keep pointing fingers.

Over the course of the 12 days break given by the school for Christmas and New year holiday the accommodation given to corpers by my PPA (a government school) got robbed. Property of mine was carted away including a laptop, shoes, gas cooker and other valuables. Including the property of other corpers residing in the school.

What provision has the NYSC made for such kind of occurrences as the PPA seems to be doing all possible to avoid taking responsibility.
Perhaps you're not aware that it's illegal for you to travel throughout your NYSC except you officially apply and your application is granted.

I'm sorry, Bros, No provision

I'm not surprised.

Why?

Because it's a developed economy.

Developed economies pursue higher goals like improving the quality of life of their citizens through education, social welfare program, better working condition, etc compared to developing ones who focus on solving low-end problems like unemployment and poor capital formation.
But when MURIC asks for Hijrah new year or Muslims get three days for Salah una go dey wail: they're wasting productive hours.

Your hypocrisy and confusion is legendary.

Why don't you donate Sunday to be a working day if you're so concerned about productivity.

You have a private establishment,it is not an offence to only want a people of certain faith to work with you. It's much better you let them know before you employ them.Arm-twisting people to participate in your religious activity which they don't agree with is a big NO from me.How hard can this be?

So,I saw this job offer on a telegram page last week ago and showed interest in it alongside my friend who is also a Muslim. So,we met the boss and spoke with him and he was satisfied with us and other things.

The plan was to start the job today.I got there and was introduced to the doctor that runs the morning shift who took me around the hospital.Lo and behold, there was a 'Prayer room' in the topmost floor. My doctor colleague said I'm free to use the room whenever I want to pray.I at first thought it was a multi-faith room, the likes that is common in public buildings in Europe.

Lady doctor said they hold a Congregational prayer meeting every fortnight Fridays which is compulsory for all member of staff and I was surprised because the M.D made no mention of such thing to me and my friend when we got the job.

I was surprised but not disappointed. Not disappointed because I grew up in the Southwest and attended public school where we were forced and actually beaten to pray in Jesus name and sing to song of praise so this mischievous attitude is not new to me.

Immediately,I picked my phone and called the MD informing him of my displeasure and disinclination to such arrangement.I told him politely and emphatically that I'm not and will never be in for such arrangement.I'm a Muslim.A full one.

He tried his best to placate the issue and told me he will see me in person to discuss about the issue. He walked in some moment ago to see some few special patients and I asked for a moment with him when he was done.

Now,we are discussing in person- He started with the story of how his wife is a Muslim and he did Nikkah with her but the wife is now praying with him and the program is just for an hour on Friday and all what not.I was just thinking in my mind that I'm not here to listen to your family or marital history. It's none of my business the religion you married your wife from(All these were thoughts going on in my mind).

He said it is just PRAYER and I was forced to ask him if he would go to the mosque with me for my own prayer. You can't throw me off with such a paltry defence.LOL,he was shocked and promised to discuss the issue with me tomorrow. Here, another tactic, piss poor.

Folks,Tolerance is not playing on people's brain.Tolerance is not pretending to be other people of different faith.Tolerance is practising your religion to the fullest without active or passive effort at disallowing people of practising their own.Tolerance is respecting people's choices of their religion.Tolerance is also explicitly stating the likes of people you would like on your property or establishment without feeling sorry. If you don't want a MUSLIM to work with you in YOUR company, you have every right to say and enforce your sentiment in as much as it is not a threat to people's lives!

I've worked with a M.D who is a Muslim with a mosque inside the hospital but NEVER has he FORCED non-muslims and even muslims to join him in Salah.

I may be broke and be in a financial crisis at the moment but neither hunger nor political correctness will make me do something against the preaching of my own religion-ISLAM!

Do Muslim employers force their non-muslim employees to pray with them?

Again,how hard can it be?

Oh Allah, you are Ar-razaq.You own and channel all our sustenance. We beseech you to never put our sustenance at the hands of those who aspire to mock your servants.

Oh Allah,we are people of weak faith and we accept that we shall be tested but please make ease our trials in this life and count us among the most successful on the day of judgement.

(I'm typing this from the hospital)

You must have thought this moves in advance if they happen. It affords you ways of defiling the enemy without emotion. Just strategy.

Peace time is for that thought.
The war hadn't started. In fact your statement is a proof against you. How? Iran's decision to retaliate or not is what will begin the war. And you don't expect them to start a war without prepping fully because, like you said, once the war starts there's no more room for planning.

It's just like a game of chess, you take your time to setup formation before engagement. And when you're playing against a stronger and more opposition like USA, you try to avoid being dragged into battle before full preparation.

It's has happened to me a couple of times though, I didn't take it personal but it's really annoying when people come to celebrate with you and end up without food. Although, most time, it's the servers/caterer's fault and occasionally the celebrant.

But no hard feelings. We move on.

And worst is I hate going to meet those servers. Haa, I'd rather return hungry, go and buy bread and moimoi or something than to go and meet a waiter especially the ladies among them. Their words are worse than snipper.

I have a strong distaste for performing ablution in most public mosques.

They are mostly plagued by the overpowering smell of urine.

The National Mosque of Abuja was an exception because of the adequate water supply.

Inability to flush the toilet is an epidemic problem in Nigeria but we Muslims should set an example in self hygiene.

And why do people love to spit out phlegm for others to see ? angry undecided

I really wish there was a fatwa with strong consequences (beheading?) on these 2 issues.
Indeed there is. Lemme search.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find but the general prohibition of

لا ضرر ولا ضرار
Do not harm yourself and do not harm others
-Ibn Majah (2341) authenticated by Albany.
should cover it.

Also, it is from the Sunnah to conceal one's self whenever you want to ease yourself so that people won't hear any obnoxious sounds, see what is forbidden or disgusting or perceive any offensive odour.

This is matter that all books of fiqh discuss. Unfortunately, I don't know why many people still take it lightly.

May Allaah assist us.
IslamRe: Do Muslims See Visions And Fall In Trance? by Newnas(m): 11:29am On Jan 03, 2020
Stalwert:
Actually , when it comes to visions in the form of dreams, Muslims actually do see it. However I must warn that because you dream of something does not automatically make it a vision.

True dreams are a part of Prophethood, as it was reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “True dreams are one of the forty-six parts of Prophethood.”

(al-Bukhaari, 6472; Muslim, 4201)
Dreams marked the onset of Revelation

(al-Bukhaari, 3; Muslim, 231).
The truthfulness of the dream is related to the sincerity of the dreamer. Those who have the most truthful dreams are those who are the most truthful in speech.

(Muslim, 4200)
Towards the end of time, hardly any dreams will be untrue. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “That will be because the Prophethood and its effects will be so far away in time, so the believers will be given some compensation in the form of dreams which will bring them some good news or will help them to be patient and steadfast in their faith.”

(al-Bukhaari, 6499; Muslim, 4200)

https://www.google.com/amp/s/islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/6537

However there are injunction on interpreting dreams that requires very knowledgeable persons to interpret.
Dreams in Islam are nothing but indicators. They shouldn't be taken as revelation (Quran and Sunnah). Unfortunately, some ignorant people do not only treat dreams as revelation but they also use them to legislatr new rulings.

Imagine a person who says he dreamt and say the prophet and the prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told him that solat isn't compulsory upon him again and Ramadan isn't compulsory on him again and he has been given the permission to drink any type of alcohol and marry fornicate with as many women as he wishes.

Then the person wakes up and says Allaah has given him his own personal shareeah. Undoubtedly this person has disbelieved in the Quran and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) @and such a person is an apostate. If he dies upon such Creed he'll be resurrected in the ranks of fir'aun, Abu Jahl and Qaaroon.

Or a person that says he dreamt that he was observing prayers in Makkah and as a result he will no longer observe solat for that day. I hope the person will also not eat for the day when he dreams that he's eating.

Allaahulmusta'an.
