Politics › Re: 12 People Who Ruined PDP And Jonathan's Administration. by nex(m): 7:08am On Feb 17, 2015
I'm sad that Stella Oduah didn't make the team, although I do admit that most of the players mentioned here totally out-played her. I think she should be on the bench. Dieziani and Patience really ruined this man. I can tell you for free that your President is obsessed with the Minister Of Petroleum, and would do anything for her.

The truth is that Jonathan carefully chose all of his friends, and he must live with the consequences of having them. Goodluck to him as he journeys back to Otuoke.
Politics › Re: Buhari Ordered Me To Dismiss 48 Errant Cadets In NDA,32 Of Them Muslims-Gen Paul by nex(m): 9:26am On Feb 16, 2015
Only a Government which has absolutely failed to achieve anything will choose to focus it's entire campaign on smearing a contender. Even Mugabe hasn't stooped that low. A man who has been in office for about 6 years is still telling us what he intends to do, and how we have to download a software application in order to experience what he has done.

SHAME!!!
Politics › Re: Governor Fayose Confesses To Ekiti State Election Rigging by nex(m): 7:23am On Feb 16, 2015
It is very shameful that the President will say the tape is not real, therefore no investigation. But if there was no investigation, Mr President, how did you verify the "unauthenticity"?

Fayose talks a lot, and he will say these things without duress. Nigeria, if you want criminals to be punished, you must Vote Buhari.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo To Jonathan:you Are Afraid Buhari Will Jail You. by nex(m): 12:12pm On Feb 15, 2015
Jonathan has said that Corruption is WHEN 2 UN MARRIED MEN SLEEP TOGETHER. So for Buhari to do anything, the Constitution has to be amended which could take up to 4 years. At the end of the day, the real people who will most likely go to jail, are the thieves ole' currently working with GEJ such as NOI, DAM, Okupe, FFK, Oduah and all the rest. Goodluck himself may not see the 4 walls of Kirikiri, unless you can prove first, that he is an unmarried man.
Politics › Re: Goodluck Jonathan's Media Chat Tells Us He Is Burnt Out Tired And Ready To Leave by nex(m): 10:19pm On Feb 12, 2015
The man claimed there was a Cabal, and then refused to fight it. They are all one and the same, and if we try to replace their stooge, they are ready to take this country under than hand it to a house cleaner like Buhari.
Politics › Re: Election Shift: When Logic Is Illogical By Egghead Odewale by nex(m): 3:39pm On Feb 05, 2015
It can't even work. Nobody in Government wants to toy with their own lives. The military is watching, and if they are forced to step in, there will be scape goagoats and sacrificial lambs, and such usually come from the ruling party. This is just another ploy to distract the Nigerian people from the real issue which are the failures of the Jonathan administration.
Politics › VIDEO: Namadi Sambo Declares PDP The Real Islamic Party & APC A Christian Party by nex(op): 3:47pm On Feb 04, 2015
A video of Nigeria's Vice-President, Namadi Sambo during the PDP campaign rally in Niger State, telling the electorate that PDP is the real Islamic Party, and APC is really the Christian Party.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abRCnlcQC0I

What is your opinion on this pattern of campaign which the PDP has chosen, going to the South to say APC wants to Islamize Nigeria, then going to the North to say APC wants to Christianize Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Obama: The Nigerian Government Has Not Been Effective At Stopping Boko Haram by nex(m): 2:24pm On Feb 03, 2015
We don't need Obama to tell us that GEJ has failed. Even if you ask a small child in a public primary school, she or he will tell you that this current Government has failed beyond measure. It is quite unfortunate how low Nigeria has fallen. Chad has swung to our rescue, and they are doing their best to liberate us from Boko Haram. Cameroun has been on top of the situation, and I believe Niger Republic too will soon take pity on Nigeria and help.
Politics › Reno Omokri Disgraces President Goodluck Jonathan With Another Online Poll by nex(op): 8:35am On Feb 02, 2015
After a long series of online polls in which more than 80% of Nigerians have expressed their resolve to vote Muhammadu Buhari in the February 14th, 2015 elections, President Goodluck Jonathan's Special Adviser on New Media, Mr Reno Omokri, set up another quick poll, this time on Twitter, to test the popularity of his boss.

As at my last personal count before the media aide quickly pulled down the poll by deleting the tweet, Buhari had again, more than 87% of the votes cast by 'favouriting' the tweet, as opposed to less than 13% who 'retweeted' same tweet to support the sitting President.

Within minutes of posting the tweet, the balance had shifted rapidly in Buhari favour of the APC presidential candidate, and Mr Reno's colleagues had nothing but vituperations for him for putting Goodluck's popularity to the test once more, after so many failed attempts.

Campaign rallies, donations, and such online polls indicate Muhammadu Buhari is on to win Nigeria's elections this month by an unprecedented landslide, however, the regime of President Jonathan which has increased fuel prices, cut power supply, wrecked the economy, and overseen Boko Haram insurgency, still maintains that it will win the elections.
Politics › Re: Touching Photo Of A Nigerian Soldier Praying Before Battle With Boko Haram(Pic) by nex(m): 8:04am On Feb 02, 2015
It's so unfortunate that all our soldiers now depend on is prayers. When 20 bullets are counted and handed to each Nigerian soldier, meanwhile Boko Haram has endless supply of ammunition. It's very sad the state which this government has put our military.

If these soldiers refuse to go to the battle field and fight with the little they have been handed by this corrupt government, they will still be sentenced to death by this same corrupt regime.

Nairaland General › Re: The Lie AIT/GEJ Is Telling Nigerians by nex(m): 1:02pm On Jan 29, 2015
It is so unfortunate the length this Government is willing to go in spreading lies and falsehood to the Nigerian people up to the extent that they are easily discovered and exposed. Yet they expect that Nigerian who have watched them lie so copiously, will vote them in, expecting truth from them. The PDP is officially dead!

Here's an infographic outlining the basic differences between the prevailing economic situations under the Obasanjo administration, and how things have become during the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan regime. Please look through the figures, and you may also search online to confirm their accuracy. Please share your views on how they have fared, and why you think they have done as poorly or as well as they did.

Politics › Press Statement By General Muhammadu Buhari On The School Certificate Issue by nex(op): 12:37pm On Jan 21, 2015
Good Morning , Gentlemen of the Press.
I only consented to address you this morning because of the genuine concern expressed by many supporters and other well-meaning Nigerians that the issue be addressed. Otherwise, I would have dismissed it for what it is—sheer mischief and would not have considered it an issue worth the nation’s while.

I had assumed all along that all my records were in the custody of the Military Secretary of the Nigerian Army. Much to my surprise, we are now told that although a record of the result is available, there are no copies of the certificates in my personal file. This is why I formally requested my old school the Provincial Secondary School, Katsina [which is now known as Government College, Katsina] to make available the school’s copy of the result of the Cambridge/West African School Certificate. This will be made available to the press the moment this is available.

However, before we obtain that, let me say for the record that I attended Provincial Secondary School, Katsina. I graduated in 1961 with many prominent Nigerians, including General Shehu Yar’adua, former chief of staff at the Supreme Headquarters, and Justice Umaru Abdullahi, a former President of the Court of Appeal. We sat for the University of Cambridge/WASC Examination together in 1961, the year we graduated. My examination number was 8280002, and I passed the examination in the Second Division.

And although the ruling party may want to wish this away, the issue in this campaign cannot be my certificate which I obtained 53 years ago. The issues are the scandalous level of unemployment of millions of our young people, the state of insecurity, the pervasive official corruption which has impoverished our people and the lack of concern of the government for anything other than the retention of power at all costs.
Thank you very much.

General Muhammadu Buhari

The law is the law. If you think injecting a man with poisonous substances or suffocating him with dangerous gasses is more humane than decapitation, that is your own cup of brainwashing.

The law is the law, and the punishment for the aw he broke was flogging. He was flogged. I think that is what we call due process around here, and I'm guessing that it is a good thing.

I believe this Portah fellow should bring forward his own song, and evidence of when it was recorded, so that when it is played side-by-side Sean Tizzle's "Perfect Gentleman", we'll be able to know who stole what, and who is making empty claims.

I heard about Lindsey only at the very tail end of last year, and at a time when very few Nigerian musicians were making any meaningful music. The girl has got soul! The lyrics, the voice, the rhythm and rhyme. I'm really glad to see an artist like her on the scene, and I'm pleased to hear another wonderful production from the little known, but extremely gifted Atta LeNell.

After this interview, I believe people should have no doubt that this man is intelligent, and very active. He's going to work as Vice President, not the follow-follow houseboy in Aso Rock. Buhari himself has shown previously that he is a man who lets his deputy to work. Change has come.

PEOPLE DECEIVING PEOPLE is telling the people not to be deceived. This is very interesting. After 16 years of deception by the PDP, I am willing to taste something else.

President will come out and claim he is building a road. That is Transformation. Which other country do you hear such rubbish?! Abeg, we have been deceived enough jare! We want CHANGE!
