Technology Market › Re: Twitter Account With 11,000 Real Nigerian Followers FOR SALE by nex(op):
Hello Damola1

What Jaborne bought are computer generated FAKE followers from hackers. If you check his account today, he has less than 40,000 followers left (https://twitter.com/Jahborne), and that may continue to dwindle till it gets to about 2,000 which is the true amount of real followers he has.

Buying fake followers may help your Twitter account look enviable, but when you need to pass a message across, it's a total waste tweeting at dummy accounts. Most Nigerian celebrities buy lots of fake Twitter followers, but at the end of the day, they're only fooling themselves, and the brands which endorse them. However, for brands, companies, and marketers who genuinely intend to reach as many people as possible in the target audience via Twitter, only thousands of real followers will do.

There are websites which can be used to detect fake followers ( such as http://fakers.statuspeople.com), and any Twitter account with above 10% fake followers is likely to have bought them at some point or the other.

11,000 real Nigerian Twitter followers for N1,600,000 may seem outrageous for someone who has not tried to grow their Twitter following. However, for those who have tried for more than a year, and and still have less than 100 followers, they know it's not at all easy to get. I built this account up tirelessly working on it for about 3 years.
Technology Market › Re: Twitter Account With 11,000 Real Nigerian Followers FOR SALE by nex(op):
Hi everyone, there's no joke about it. I've been a Social Media Marketer for years, and I can clearly state that when advertising via Twitter itself, every single new follower that the "Promoted Account" gains, costs an average of $2. Most industry experts agree that it's too expensive, but Twitter has not agreed to adjust its rates. What is agreed however, is that $1/follower is the more accurate price.

If in doubt, you may google: "twitter account value site", and the results will furnish you with various sites which value Twitter accounts. I you calculate the average results of the various values obtained, it will certainly end up at about $12,500, however, like I mentioned earlier, what I want is $10,000. I need the money to promote my business account through Twitter, in order to get a larger audience, and also get my account verified so that clients can distinguish my account from impostors.

Thank you for your inquiries.

When I see the kind of argument some seemingly educated people put up here, it confirms my belief that Nigerian universities need more than N3 trillion to begin the process of recuperation.

Are you wiser than the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Academic Staff Union of Universities which two major bodies came together to agree that this is the appropriate funding required for the Nigerian universities?!
Technology Market › Twitter Account With 11,000 Real Nigerian Followers FOR SALE by nex(op):
I've been operating 2 Twitter accounts for more than 3 years now, a personal account, and a business account. Both accounts have grown quite substantially, and quite cumbersome to manage at the same time.

I wish to trade my personal account for cash ASAP in order to raise funds to run some Twitter ADs for my business account. The handle has more than 11,000 followers (more than 90% of whom are Nigerians), and is following 1,290 people. It is also followed by several verified accounts eg @theGame and @AirtelNigeria.

Appraised on Social Sellouts ( http://socialsellouts.com/twitter-users/ ), it is worth $12,581 though I want exactly $10,000 (N1.6m) for it.
Fashion › Re: Miss Philippines Is Miss World 2013!! by nex(m): 6:27am On Sep 29, 2013
Hehe! Someone said they should stop calling him Negro, or Negroid, but rather prefers being called black. Don't let me choke on my teeth. Both words mean virtually the same thing. If you don't want to insult yourself, then say you're African. If you call yourself black, then don't take offense when someone else calls you negro. It's the same thing.

Now, the question I want to ask is, where is Ben Bruce's Anna Banner? The beautiful queen of Bayelsa, chosen to politically appease the seat of power, the host state, and the state of origin of the organizers. Imps! She totally stood no chance even against miss Ghana.

I've really been having fun on these bloggers. Funny enough, some of the smaller and lesser known blogs have turned out to have better written articles with more insight.

Keep it up guys, I think a the end of the day, this can serve as a directory for Nigerian blogs...well, of course, there are some that need weeding out. Keep them coming.

As if you all don’t know that these things are paid for. Before you come here to start showing unfounded support, did you buy the original DKM album (Enhanced Deluxe: N4000; Plain Audio: N2500) when it came out?

You waited for the Alaba N100 pirate copy, proving that even you all thought less of that DKM crap!

Now, you're here with virtual support and fanaticism because of an article that was paid for in the New York Times. In the words of D'Banj, please DON’T TELL ME NONSENSE!
Politics › Re: Keyamo Emerges Consensus Senatorial Candidate by nex(m): 8:38am On Sep 15, 2013
See the way people are screaming Keyamo as if there's a single thing they can point their fingers to that he has achieved in his entire life. Is he not in the same bracket as Reuben Abati and Abike Dabiri, who cry against the government till they get into it? Abeg, you people should let me hear word. Keyamo who has lost more than 20 EFCC cases in a row, but comes to the media to shout as if that is where the show of legal prowess is.

Put up a list of Barrister Festus Keyamo's WIN to LOSS ratio on all his law cases, and you will find that you're actually championing a mediocre to the Hallowed Chambers.
Fashion › Re: 2013 Miss Earth Nigeria Contestants by nex(m): 8:26am On Sep 15, 2013
Not bad a all. Miss Earth is actually a worldwide contest to find a young, natural, beauty that would advocate for the protection of the nature and beauty of the earth. I believe Ibinabo Fiberesima is behind the effort, as I've seen her trying to pull off the previous editions.

I wish them success.

Eiyah, Parkinson's Disease. I think it's befitting for such a rapist of the general public to die slowly while shivering every minute of the rest of his life.

I can't think of a better end for a man you has devoured so many people's lives and futures. Congratulations Lagosians.

Na wah O! I used to know this lady back in the day. Even when she was living alone with just her daughter, she seemed like a married woman, whose husband was away on some business trip. I respect that.

I was only surprised that she unfollowed me on Twitter because I expressed my reservations about the Akpabio SUVs, and the Dubai wedding. Na we been dey follow her and share her ups and downs when nobody send her O! I used to even go to her crib and play football with Isabelle. Now she don get recognition, she don bone. God dey.

Music/Radio › Re: Do People Still Buy Music Albums? by nex(m): 9:32am On Sep 14, 2013
I still buy music CDs, but only for really good albums. I bought Bez, and more recently, I bought Waje's album.

You have to understand that the artistes themselves are less interested in selling albums these days, and more interested in getting popular enough to be booked for big concerts, and to get brand endorsement deals. So they in fact, sabotage their own album sales by giving their singles for free, or "leaking" it on the internet.
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa Made N7billion by nex(m): 5:46pm On Sep 11, 2013
Very crappy calculation. You can't possibly believe that everyone who voted during the Big Brother event voted once on each of those 91 days. In fact, DSTV gets more revenue from their main sponsor, than SMS. That's why without major funding from a lead sponsor they cannot carry on with their Gomorrah. It used to be Coca-Cola, now it's Airtel. Max estimates for earnings from SMS, 10% of your calculation.

All that does for now is help to augment the more than N15 billion they pay for the English Premier League annually. DSTV is not having it easy at all these days, they can hardly pay for adequate movies since HiTV came and changed the EPL pricing. I wish them well in ripping Africans off by promoting sheer demonism. People have been assaulted, abused, dehumanized and raped on Big Brother worldwide, and I know one day they'll murder someone right there on international television.

GEJ has squandered the entire Federation Account, now we must pay a fine even for attempting to breathe his "fresh air".
Car Talk › Re: Police Begin Biometric Registration Of Vehicles by nex(m): 10:33pm On Sep 10, 2013
It is impossible to carry out biometric registration of the non-biological. Do cars gave fingerprints and eye colour?! If they need biometric registration of car owners or drivers, the FRSC has that database, and can transfer it to them digitally for free.

All this grammar is to release a N30 billion budget for the "Biometric Registration of Cars". Unless those cars are "Transformers" from "Cybertron", this is utter nonsense!

Wow! I just sent the Ministry an email yesterday for collaboration on a youth project, and they called called me back same day. That's the fastest response time I ever got from any government parastatal ever. NAFDAC was 3 months, NYSC was 4. Anyway, it's also possible that he sense the coming of the sack and had his staff working over capacity.

All the same, I wish him well. I don't see why GEJ should sack anybody before himself. He's the least performing of them all.

The man can't talk and can't walk, how in the name of Allah is he going to work?

There are many circumstances surrounding Suntai's crash, and the struggle he had with Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan and Abubakar Tutare. The line he crossed when he refused to Attend Bamanga Tukur's reconciliatory meeting, and the speedy announcement of his death by the Presidency, through Reno Omokri. (http://blueprintng.com/new/2012/10/23/suntai-shuns-bamangas-reconciliation-meeting)

All the same, what has been done, has been done. They've taken him to Germany, then the USA, where his brain has been fiddled with, and according to the Constitution, he can no longer be a Governor.

Whoever wrote that letter should also be arrested, and prosecuted.

Tambuwal has shown himself to be a very intelligent fellow, and also one who would not tolerate criminal politics even from members of the same party as himself. If he can take a Vice-President from the part of this country which has not neared the Presidency in decades, I'll vote for that combination.

Buhari really, should stop this. He's not a democrat, he's a coupist, a political antique, and he's definitely not Presidential material...unless of course he's expecting Idiagbon to rise up from the grave and help him again.
