Personally, I feel this woman should keep her advise to herself. Different things work for different people. Medically, it is not very good to have kids late, aside from that, there have been women who were married in their 20’s and are still quite successful career-wise. For any individual, woman or man, whose career means the world to them, this advise can be good for them because the main thing they care about in life is their career. For people to whom family is everything, those should try to get married early in life in order to start building a great family. Those that want a balance should learn from the people who are successful balancing an early marriage and a good career successfully. |
Evil Nanny Behind Kidnapping Of Orekoya Boys Has Been Arrested! We all heard about the 3 Orekoya boys (age: 6 months, 4 years & 11 years) who had been kidnapped by their 23 year old house-help Mary Akinloye from their Surulere, Lagos home on April 8. The nanny had only resumed work the day before she abducted the boys from her employers. https://www.that1960chick.com/wp-content/uploads/OrekoyaBoys.jpg A N15 Million ransom was demanded by the nanny & her cohorts and while the distraught parents were still in the process of raising the money, the police found the kids — yesterday. They had been abandoned by their abductors in the Shasha Area of Lagos State. The kidnappers left them due to the immense pressure generated from news of the kidnapping. The children were found alone. The nanny and her cohorts were nowhere to be found. However the Lagos State Police Commissioner of Police, Mr Kayode Aderanti has just confirmed “the nanny” has been arrested! The children have since been taken to the hospital for observation and have been re-united with their parents. Thank God! - See more at: http://www.that1960chick.com/2015/04/16/evil-nanny-behind-kidnapping-of-orekoya-boys-has-been-arrested/comment-page-1/#comment-237778 |
Looks like Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are engaged! The couple fondly called ‘Omeeka’ fans and the media wondering if their relationship status has changed when Nicki uploaded a photo of her and Meek yesterday captioned ‘Miami Nights’ and it’s hard to miss the huge diamond on her ring finger! Nicki continued to tease fans about whether or not they had become engaged when she got on her social media accounts last night and posted a ring, heart and diamond emoji and wrote, “I’ll post it later” https://www.that1960chick.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG_8085.png A few hours after, Nicki shared a picture of her hands and forget the multi colored manicure check out that HUGE heart shaped, canary diamond ring she is rocking on her engagement finger!!! https://www.that1960chick.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG_8081.png Now that’s a rock!!! Kai!!! And Nicki dated her ex Safaree Samuels for ten years only to get engaged to someone she’s only been with for a little over 3 months! O ma shey o…Safaree my heart goes out to you! But congrats to Omeeka, hope this isn’t a prank they are pulling! - See more at: http://www.that1960chick.com/2015/04/16/nicki-minaj-meek-mill-are-engaged-after-dating-just-3-months-see-the-huge-canary-yellow-diamond-ring-he-gave-her

Outspoken talk show host Wendy Williams is of the opinion that women should not get married till they are in their thirties. This won’t go down well with African parents! The 50 year old is of the opinion that women should spend their 20s focusing on their career. She made this known in an interview with Forbes Woman Magazine, where she talked about her career and balancing family with work. She said, I do feel it is difficult for men to accept really successful career women. Whether it be that we out-earn them or the marquee, our names are brighter than their own. I also feel like marriage and babies stunt a woman’s growth career-wise and they don’t understand like, once you get married and once you have kids, you can’t do all the things that you used to do and maintain this important precious thing you’ve built as a family. So my suggestion to women, always, is to use your entire 20s…work your behind off in your career and get some ground footing, then think about meeting that guy. Even if you’ve met him at 27, don’t get engaged and don’t move to where he is. This is about you and your career. Because we are the ones that lose in marriage. Not men! Men can have all their boys’ nights out and whenever we have a girls’ night out I’m always, ‘I gotta leave, it’s soccer practice.’ I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. I’m saying that as a woman who’s been married for 17 years, we’re still expected to empty the dishwasher and we’re still expected to maintain our household. Wendy I agree with you on this one! But what about women who haven’t figured out their career until their 30s?! Should they wait till their 40s? - See more at: http://www.that1960chick.com/2015/04/16/wendy-williams-says-women-shouldnt-get-married-until-their-30s-do-you-agree-with-this/

This man is not only going to lose his job, but he'll most likely end up in jail. Let him keep running his mouth. At least he has confessed that he made that statement, there's more to come out of that his big mouth. A policeman who does not know that his job is to protect and serve the people even with his on life is a big danger to society. GMB will deal with this slowpoke and his ilk. |
You people are abusing the word Beautiful! |
We do need more signatures though to be able to make this a formal complaint directly to DSTV, otherwise everybody should go back to their houses and subscribe at the new prices. |
It's time to end the exploitation of Nigerians by DSTV. Nigerians deserve respect from DSTV. And we will get it. #BoycottDstvNG, Please add your smart card number when signing the petition. We were many who made the Buhari victory possible. This Vanguard article is just silly! |
GEJ has just been wasting his time in the South West. He starved those states of funds for years because they were not PDP states, and the people suffered for it. Salaries have not been paid for months because allocation is randomly slashed, and in some months, not released at all. The President has lost this election. God bless Nigeria! |
After the postponement of the elections, there was a meeting in which PDP stakeholders agreed to re-channel the Jonathan campaign in order to seek victory. One of the adoptions was the handing of billions to the PDP Governors to using in winning Influencers in their states, another was for GEJ to do more in the South West. A third adoption was for the tone of the campaign to be shifted from personal attacks on Buhari, and re-focused on GEJ fixing all of his errors in these six weeks, and highlighting them. Everyone agreed, except Fayose and Fani-Kayode. One cannot remain a party Chairman if he brings up resolutions, and 2 party members flagrantly flout them. I knew his purported resignation was about this. Well, I hope he manages. |
This is the fate you have to suffer when you refuse to do your job, but still do not want to be sacked. He will keep jumping from one place to the other for blessings till finally, he will find himself in the Shrine of voodoo priests, or in gay bars where his behind will be raped. Goodluck to Jonathan, because if it is by competence, he has completely failed this nation. |
The Chadian have done a lot to liberate Nigeria from the claws of Boko Haram. Indeed, I would think it is best we say things as they are, that Chad is leading the fight against Boko Haram, and they are doing a great job. It's very unfortunate how Nigeria failed its people by failing to equip it's military. Corruption has completely ruined our Nation. God bless Chad! I hope Shekau is captured soon.

This Government has failed in so many ways that I have already concluded that it must fail in the elections too. It has to fail. It is their culture. Whichever way they choose to achieve this failure is not my business, all I know is that failure is their trademark, and it should always be expected from them. Ultimately, GEJ will be gone from Aso Rock by May 29th. He has promised it himself, that on that day, there will be a handover. This country can take no more of this form of complacent failure and corruption. |
After your Government of the soso-called Giant Of Africa has failed to secure you, and smaller, more focused countries have come to liberate us, and give us back our freedom, your main focus is that they are using charms?! Please thank these people for using whatever they have to relieve us from the shame which GEJ has left Nigeria to wallow in. |
Fayose is like Fani-Kayode, Fani-Kayode is like a raving lunatic in the marketplace which no one knows whom he will attack next. They are one and the same, and their cases are equally sad because they have unfortunately been given offices of authority in the Nigerian Government. Unlike Femi Fani-Kayode who is just a private contractor for the President's campaign, Ayodele Fayose is a sitting Executive Governor of a Nigerian State. This worries me gravely, that a man is such a position can utter the words he did, and carry out the actions he did. Imagine such a man holding the destinies of more than a million people in his hands. Ekiti people are in danger. |
Because the APC Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has a cute daughter.... |
There is nothing happening in the economy right now, so who do you want to employ anyone? AI just layer ofoff Also, education which has been decaying since the military era has eventually turned to dust in the hands of the PDP. I just layer of my 2 staff. Aside from the fact that profits have turned to losses, the sheer incompetence of most Nigerian trained workers is alarming. My writer could not spell. |
What is all THIS?!! Who are all THESE?! |
You people should go and find something serious to do with your time jare. What is all this name on Coke bottle mission that has no tangible benefit at the end of the day. If you ask even Coca cola what end there is to all this, they will have nothing to tell you. Just bamboozling people into drinking more sugar. |
Maybe not a "club", perhaps just a hangout. The environment doesn't look like a club to me. Either way, those were the days when our parents, and grand parents really rocked. Their groove was kind of different from what we have today. |
It's very unfortunate how the Nigerian Military has fallen. Look at how Cameroon has dealt decisively with Boko Haram in every encounter. See what corruption has done to us. It started with 10%, now more than 80% of the funding government releases for any project is embezzled, and that includes funding for our military. PDP has ruined us all! |
These people should be very careful. Ebola is very dangerous, and quite deadly. It is not something you give people false beliefs on. Many will perish! |
Seun, If as you say, both of those videos were made in Lagos, how come almost all the respondents in Video 1 said Jonathan would win, and almost all the respondents in Video 2 said Buhari would win. Please get your facts straight. That first video is either not Lagos, or it was rigged. |
Please, why is there no light in my house?! Why are generators still singing everywhere I go. How come the power companies have not reduced my bill now that there is more supply? Is the deregulation in Nigerian Power Sector quarreling with the laws of Demand and Supply as regards price?! GEJ is acting a Nollywood Reality Show. It's all a farce. |
The NFVCB is supposed to screen movies BEFORE certifying it fit for viewing by the Nigerian public. I really don't understand this whole issue of unbanning, banning, unbanning, and rebanning. How exactly does the NFVCB work?! |
He should meet with the British Prime Minister, French President, German Chancellor, and other European leaders to start planning how they can all work together with a new Nigeria because he is effectively, the next President of Nigeria. I hope he also goes to Asia and America. |
Nobody can demand sex from you except you put them in a position where it is their right. She can only REQUEST sex from you, and the final step should be telling husband about it. |
This man only realized in the last minute, that he had lost the 2015 elections. I'm sure people can now see why he used the military to postpone elections. He would have lost in a landslide. His image amongst most Nigerians was that of failure, and they had decided to do away with failure in their lives. In a very religiously, and ethnically bias country like Nigeria, for a large number of Church leaders and South-South indigenes to be supporting Buhari, GEJ should have known. I wish him well, but it's unfortunate he had to resort to this illegality and unconstitutionality of election shifting by proxy. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan definitely has lost the 2015 Presidential Elections, but this postponement and re-strategizing may help reduce the margin. |
GEJ is aggressively pursuing his own end in the most aggressive and desperate manner. It is sad. Very sad. If a man cannot govern, and is accidentally given the mantle of leadership, when he tries, and is unable to perform the duties and responsibilities attached to the position he occupies, it is only sane that he quits. If he is too ashamed to quit, then he can wait till a time when that position is being contested for, and fairly lose. I do not understand this man. You have failed, and you know you have failed. Why are you struggling to remain?! It totally beats me! |
These people fetching "Sacred Water" from the "Miracle Tree" are engineering and Technology students of the Higher Institution. Students at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) in Nigeria fetching water from a "Miracle Tree", which was actually due to a pipe ruptured by the tree's roots. Eventually, a staff of the school had to go turn the damaged pipe off from source. The Miracle of Stupidity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1wz8pUTNLo |
In all honesty, there really is no one else who wants GEJ to remain as President except Patience, DAM, Okupe, Clark, Dokubo, Reno, FFK, and Abacha. Even Jonathan, if you question him properly, he will tell you that these people are the ones machinating him to do contrary to his own personal desire. It's unfortunate. |
